The premise is entertaining; the romances are passionate and steamy; the characters are colorful and fun. My only complaint is the identity of the person threatening Phoenix Rose-a questionable identity in the grand scheme of villains and dastardly schemes.

This is book one in the Summer Resort Series and it introduces a great location and the permanent staff of the Vacation getaway known as Cooper's charm. This story has the owner meeting Phoenix Rose who is escaping a bad chapter in her life and becomes the grounds keeper. When her sister, Ridley Rose visits to check on her she decides to stay and become the head housekeeper. Ridley falls for the scuba instructor, Baxter. This is a sensual, sexy story, a little more graphic than some Lori Foster books. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Cooper’s Charm by Lori Foster was a charming romance with two sisters battling hurts from their pasts.
Phoenix had survived a robbery and assault physically but was still healing mentally. She comes to Cooper’s Charm applying for the landscaping job. I enjoyed that she was great at her job. The author created a fascinating character in Phoenix. She was trying to reclaim her strength from before the assault. Cooper was the perfect mate for her. Cooper was dealing with his own past and wanted to help Phoenix. He was so good to her. The addition of the dog was adorable.

Phoenix is very close to her older sister, Ridley. Ridley is still hurt from her divorce. She took him for a lot of money in the divorce so she does not have to worry about money. But she ends up taking on a job at Cooper’s Charm when she came to visit her sister. Ridley and Baxter create sparks at first sight. Their relationship was explosive. Their banter was witty.

Sex - 4, descriptive, multiple scenes with Phoenix and Cooper, and Ridley and Ridley.

This is a new series from Lori Foster. And in one phrase it is a Learning To Love Again love story. Both have been through hard times. Both have loved and lost. Both have come to Cooper’s resort to get a new direction in life.

A sweet story with wonderful background characters. Can’t wait for the next one in the series.

I loved this book. Phoenix has come to the lake side resort, Cooper's Charm, to start over. After a terrible, tragic event she needs to get away and find her old self. Cooper owns the place and he is also not living his life to the fullest. He bought the resort to keep himself busy. Can two broken people help each other mend and become a whole couple? Sometimes the changes that are the hardest to make, make the greatest difference in the happiness in our lives. Great read.

Cute story with lots of laughs! Phoenix relocates to the seasonal community of Cooper’s Charm for a fresh start – and is delighted to be surrounded by the beauty of nature… and handsome men. Her sister Ridley soon follows, buys herself an RV, and makes herself at home. Between sibling heart-to-hearts and early morning coffee talk with the guys, the sisters realize that the slower pace of Cooper’s Charm is just what they need.

This book was just the kind of easy reading that I look for after the workweek is over. Some fun characters, heartfelt friendships, warm humor, and people working together for good.

Another fantastic book by Lori Foster. Phoenix had a fiance, a successful landscape business, and a great life when a robbery and assault shatter her world. Phoenix wants to get her confidence and life back, so she takes a job at a lakeside resort, Copper's Charm. Cooper, the owner of the resort, finds himself drawn to Phoenix, but he has also suffered great loss because of a violent act in his past. Love how Cooper and Phoenix slowly develop their relationship by getting to know and trust each other. These two vulnerable and lost souls heal each other as they turn their friendship to romance. Can Cooper protect Phoenix when it looks like someone is stalking her? In a secondary romance, Ridley, Phoenix's sister, meets her match in Baxter, the resort's scuba instructor. Ridley uses her snark and sarcasm as a shield to protect herself after her husband dumped her. Baxter is a hot, alpha male who wants Ridley from the moment he sees her. Can Baxter and Ridley get over their fear of commitment and their future is together? Loved how the staff is a family and support each other. Cooper's Charm by Lori Foster is an emotionally heartfelt story that will have the reader from the beginning to the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting Cooper's Charm. Lori Foster never disappoints. There was something sweet and satisfying about Lori Foster’s latest release Coopers Charm and that made it very easy to read and immensely enjoyable.

Sometimes I read a book and it is easier for me to list all the things I love about the book rather than write a detailed review and that is what I’m going to do with this book. I loved that both the main characters had lived through something difficult and it made them wary, yet they were both open to exploring the intense attraction between them. I loved the quirky secondary characters that added a lot of life and fun to this story. I loved the setting of a summer retreat campground and cabins around a lake where people flocked to enjoy a peaceful vacation. I loved the adult relationship between the main characters, they communicated well and despite they both had some baggage they didn’t drag a lot of drama into their relationship. The one thing I didn’t love about this book was the suspense element that seemed contrived and didn’t really add to the book, just some unnecessary drama this book didn’t need.

The heroine Phoenix Rose was smart, strong, and determined to reclaim her life and independence and I enjoyed watching her make friends and blossom while working as the landscaper and groundskeeper at Coopers Charm. Copper Cochran the resort owner was one of those perfect heroes who knew when to back off and when to push and I admired that he gave Phoenix a place to get back in the work force while also keeping a very close eye on her for his peace of mind and her safety. The sexual tension between them was thick and watching them try and deny it was amusing.

Coopers Charm is a spectacular offering from author Lori Foster and is sure to be a hit with readers wanting something light, sexy, and fun this summer.

I loved Cooper and Phoenix. Lori writes my favorite sexy Alpha heros, and vulnerable yet strong heroines. The sensual build up to their romance was perfect. From the first page I was captivated by these two lost souls, and The sexy scenes were hot and were perfectly done as always. Oh, and these two rescue a fur baby!

We also get a bonus romance between Phoenix’s sister Ridley and Baxter the scuba instructor. Loved these two as well. Ridley is snarky, sarcastic and funny. Baxter is a hottie and both are Leary of commitment.

All of the secondary characters are wonderful. Devon was another cutie! This story flows flawlessly intertwining both couples.

This was such a “Charming” read with all the feels. You really need this book now! One click, go to your local bookstore but get it!

Cooper’s Charm is supposed to be a temporary place but for Phoenix and Ridley, it’s a detour that will heal their battered hurts and show them what the future may be. That is if they can grasp the courage to grab it.



COOPER’S CHARM is a new story set in a resort that has charm, intriguing residents and lots of healing properties. I really enjoyed this book. The main characters are sisters who have a deep and loving bond between them and I loved how Phoenix and Ridley acted toward one another. Part teasing, another part exasperation but filled with love no matter what. The story flowed swiftly, and I got caught up in Phoenix and Ridley’s stories and found myself rooting for them both to have their own happy ever after. I loved the Phoenix and Ridley’s beaus as well. Cooper Cochran and Baxter McNab are down right sexy as sin and alpha as an alpha dog can get but both turn to mush when they fall for their respective sister. The simmering slow build up between Cooper and Phoenix was just perfect to see. Cooper was sweet, gentle and the sparks flying between these two almost made me drop the book a few times as it heated the pages up. The bonus story between Ridley and Baxter was just as sweet and as playful as Phoenix’s and just as sexy. I loved these four people and when they got together, be warned, the sexy scenes will bring the heat.



COOPER’S CHARM is a sexy sweet story that will charm you from beginning to end. Jill Shalvis is a gifted storyteller who knows how to keep the reader enthralled with the characters and the story even as they flip the pages for more. I am really hoping the author comes back to this sweet little place that is making me wish to visit it someday. If you enjoy sensual stories with intriguing characters and a storyline that will keep you highly entertained, then grab a chair and get ready to be entertained by COOPER’S CHARM.

There are not even enough words to describe how much I adored Lori Foster's "Cooper's Charm." I am a huge Lori Foster fan and this book did no disappoint! Every character is so intricately detailed, and it's almost like you know them the moment you read about them, The perfect combination of intrigue and romance. You will want to be best friends with the main and supporting characters, and want to marry the hero!

What a book! Lori Foster has come out with a book that is filled with romance and action. Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for a wonderful book.

Having wrapped my reading of, "Cooper's Charm," I am not convinced that I want to read more of the series. I have not read many stories by the author, Lori Foster. Usually, I am not that crazy about the writer's chosen styles of writing. This book was yet another example.

The story focuses on a lakeside resort known as "Cooper's Charm." Cooper, both the owner and the hero of the book is a man of grief following a loss. Pheniox, the heroine was a victim of a gruesome crime that left her scarred emotionally. This book from here continues to be the standard. There isn't a lot of excitement in this book. The plot is more about damage control. Two people find one another. Save another one. Fall in love. End of story.

I had my doubts about this story early on. By the time I read the ending I was over it. The ending ruined the book for me. It was predictable and felt wildly off. I felt like the characters were having more of a summertime fling rather than an HEA-ending. I am still not convinced that both Cooper and Phoenix will last forever.

My last flaw I had with the story was Ridley, Phoenix's sister. Ridley's character added nothing to the story except another story. Ridley's own romance should have been for a sperate book. Instead, the author managed to cram it into this book. I wasn't a fan. One romance per book is how I like my stories.

This story is a no for me. I did not like much about the book. I don't have any real issues with the characters but the plot was just a kill for me from the start. I do not think I will be reading more of this series in the near future.

This was a wonderful contemporary story, with just enough sexy romance to keep things going. Phoenix Rose heads to Cooper's Charm, an RV park, to take a groundskeeper job after a frightening break in and assault at her landscaping business. Cooper Cochran bought the place after his wife's death and is recovering from his own darkness. They are great characters that you can root for and the addition of Phoenix sister Ridley and other employees like Maris and Daron round out the charming story.

Phoenix Rose and her sister Ridley have both had some tough knocks in life. Phoenix leaves her home and applies for a job at a local resort called Cooper's Charm. Delighted, she is hired and begins her healing. Of course, hunky Cooper Cochran will be integral to that healing process. Meanwhile Ridley, recently divorced, is handling her situation a bit differently. She is using her looks to love em and leave em. She misses her sister, so ends up at Cooper's Charm as well and smack into the arms of one of Cooper's employees.

This is a second chance romance story for more than just Cooper and Ridley. All the employees there have some sort of baggage to get over and this is a summer of love. There is an element of mystery to the story as well. It seems someone is targeting Phoenix for some reason and Cooper is worried about her safety. Will they find out who is stalking Phoenix? Will Phoenix be able to heal at Cooper's Charm? Will Ridley's dreams finally come true? I enjoyed the story with its sassy banter, loyalty to one another, family love and romance. A warning to reader's there are some descriptive sex scenes in the book, but you can skim them if you choose, and still very much enjoy this story. The publisher, HQN books generously granted my request to read this book and provided me with a copy. The opinions and ideas shared are my own.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, secrets, suspense, and heartbreak.

This is Phoenix and Cooper's story. Phoenix needed a change. She takes a job at a lakeside resort for a widowed man named Cooper. All the employees at the resort are like a family. They are funny and a little crazy. But they pull in Phoenix and take her under their wing. She is drawn to Cooper but her hurts from the past keep her from going all in. Can he convince her to give him a chance? Do these two deserve a second chance at a forever? Sweet romance mixed with a little suspense will keep you turning the pages to see what happens next. You get not only this couple but a peek at her sister also that comes to check on her and make sure she is doing okay at the resort.

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

I have been a longtime reader of Lori Foster’s books and this one didn’t disappoint. There was a great balance between the primary and secondary romantic storylines and I loved both equally! The vivid description of the setting of the book, a resort community on a lake, made me feel like I was there myself on vacation, and I enjoyed getting to know all of the characters who worked there throughout the book. I love a book that lets me escape the real world for a few hours and Cooper’s Charm did that with ease, making it a winner in my book! I’ll be recommending it as a fun and romantic beach read!

This was one of my favorite summer reads. I just loved it. COOPER’S CHARM is about two sisters and has one main love story with a secondary love story. The characters were great, the romance was hot, the story was engaging and it had just the right amount of mystery. I wanted to visit this resort with my pup for a vacation. I highly recommend this book for romance lovers looking for a new contemporary romance series with a little mystery.

I enjoyed their romance, as well as meeting Ridley, Phoenix's sister, and watching as she discovers a romance of her own. I look forward to the next story.
