I really liked this book. It was what I would call a beach read. Very good story with a quick pace about two sisters and their relationships with not only each other, but romantic ones as well. If you like Lori Foster, this is a definite must read!

Phoenix Rose had it all and then in a blink of an eye, she lost everything... now she is a broken woman in need of a fresh start, and she is hoping her new job at Cooper's Charm will give her that. This new adventure holds so much for her, not only does she stumble onto a great new job, but she also flirts with the possibilities of putting herself out there and finding love too!
But she isn't on this new journey alone, her sister Ridley comes to check up on her and finds a new life for herself too at Coopers Charm, one that helps her to forget about her ex-husband and her lost forever, and helps her discover a new one, with a man of her dreams!!
Within the pages of Cooper's Charm readers will have the opportunity to follow two sisters on two unforgettable journeys, that bring them happiness, independence, healing and of course love! This wonderful new read from Ms. Foster kicks off a promising new series filled with uniquely crafted characters that I can't wait to get better acquainted with, and if the installments to follow are anything like this one, I have a feeling we are in for some exceptional reading!! Not only was this story full of heartwarming moments to give you the feels, but it also comes with a little suspense mixed in here and there that's certain keep you on your toes. If your in the mood for a small town, feel good romance, then I highly suggest you make a visit to the Cooper's Charm RV Park & Resort...the moment you set foot in town and meet the residents they'll make you feel right at home!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this title.

“Cooper’s Charm” by Lori Foster is charming, sexy, and includes those alpha-heroes we’ve come to love.
Cooper Cochran now owns the resort, Cooper’s Charm, having moved there to escape the grief of losing his wife five years before.
Phoenix Rose arrives looking for a job and a place that will help her take back her life after a traumatic event.
Interest and attraction are apparent between these two from the very beginning, but both hold back. When they do give in, their chemistry is as hot as the summer sun.
There is a secondary storyline amidst the budding romance between Coop and Phoenix. Phoenix’s sister, Ridley and scuba instructor, Baxter McNab. Their scenes are sexually-charged as they follow their own path to happily-ever-after.
“Cooper’s Charm” wouldn’t be a Lori Foster book without a bit of suspense. Who is targeting Phoenix at the place she thought would be her safe haven? Will Cooper be able to protect her?
Ms. Foster continues to bring sexy stories featuring alpha heroes and strong heroines. In this book, listed as book 1 of the series, readers will wonder - who will be next to find Love at the Resort?

Cooper's Charm is the first book from the Love at the Resort series. It is, also, my first introduction to Lori Foster's work. I loved the main characters of Phoenix and Cooper. My favorite character would have to be that crazy Daron. He is so very funny. They were all fun to get to know. The book is full of delightful romance.
I give Cooper's Charm four stars.
I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.

I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN
I've been a fan of Lori Foster for years, and I'm happy that she is still evolving as an author. She writes characters that you'd love to have as friends and immersive settings that you'd love to visit.
Cooper's Charm offers the reader a summer vacation on a lake with family and friends, that is ultimately a love story when two sisters find their perfect men.
I read an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review

Cooper's Charm was what it says, charming! Don't get me wrong, it still had Foster's steamy scenes but I thought it was a slight departure from what she normally writes. Can't wait to see what else happens at Cooper's Charm - hopefully a book will be coming about Darin and Maris.

Cooper's Charm is the perfect book! The resort sounds like an ideal place to live, work, visit & recover. Phoenix needs to recuperate & find herself after a traumatic event. She's began to recover her strength but needs to get away from her familiar surroundings. This job sounds like it will be perfect! Just when she's starting to live again, & stop looking over her shoulder, a series of events start to happen. Has her past comeback to haunt her?
Cooper lost his wife & unborn child years ago. He retreated into himself to grieve & purchased the resort to hide away. He's come out of his shell & is beginning to live again when he meets Phoenix. He can tell something has happened & his protective instincts are up. Is there something more to it?
Who wouldn't want to go to Cooper's? The resort sounds perfect, the employees friendly & knowledgeable, & the scenery spectacular. Cooper & Phoenix, & even secondary characters Baxter & Ridley, have all been hurt in different ways. They all needed time to allow them to heal. The connections between them were plain to see the minute they met. The plot had several twists with the secondary plot line running throughout. This is a great start to a new series by a terrific author!

Phoenix needs to start over and find herself again after going through a traumatic experience, which ultimately led to her ending things with her fiancée. She takes the job as the landscaper for Cooper’s Charm Resort hoping to get her life back on track. There she meets her boss and owner Cooper, who has used Cooper’s Charm as his own escape from the world after a devastating loss of his own. Together they slowly and reluctantly start to heal one another as strange things start to happen at the resort that seem to be targeting Phoenix. Ridley, Phoenix’s older sister also decides to come to Cooper’s Charm, her excuse is to watch over and be there for her sister, but she is also there to recover from a humiliating divorce. Ridley impulsively decides to take on the housekeeping duties for Cooper’s Charm and is surprised at how satisfying the manual work is. As with most divorcée’s, Ridley has sworn off men for anything other then a good time, no commitments. She meets the sexy scuba instructor, Baxter, and he has the job of the century to convince her that she is worth all the commitments he can give to her and more. The pairings were perfect in this story, Phoenix and Cooper were both damaged in their own ways and needed each other to help heal the holes and Ridley, being much more brash and outspoken needed Baxter and his confidence and his sometimes over the top flirtation to level her out. I can’t wait for more books from the Love at the Resort series!!!

3.5 Stars - Review will post on blog 7/27/18
COOPER’S CHARM is the first book in a new series by Lori Foster. I initially thought that this would be a Women’s Fiction novel, which is why I picked it up in the first place. But I’m quickly realizing a trend here with Romance authors. Even though the blurb sounds more like a Women’s Fiction novel, the contents inside will most likely be a straight up Romance.
I was a bit disappointed by this but because I enjoyed the couple, I could let it go. This book starts off really well. I enjoyed both the hero and the heroine’s personalities. I found Phoenix to be especially enjoyable and I really loved her strong bond with her sister, Ridley. I feel like with Romance novels, sibling relationships aren’t always emphasized so I really loved that Foster decided to make Ridley such an important character to Phoenix.
The book wanes in the middle and I think that’s because the author tried to introduce secondary characters into the mix all at once. I don’t mind building that sense of community but it did slow the book down considerably, especially as they have conversations about nothing. To me, it slowed down the book too much.
So, this book is a lot of fun, but just be aware that there are going to be slow point. I feel like they are things that you can get over and so, I’m looking forward to trying the next book in the series to see what Foster decides to do next!

This is a perfect summer vacation read! Light-hearted, cute characters, a little drama, and will leave you smiling.
Cooper's Charm is the name of a camping resort. I wish it was real - beautiful lake, cabins, tent sites, rv's and campers, and all the support for the campers to be comfortable. Plus couples who meet and fall in love there.
Phoenix experienced a life-changing, scary event when men broke in and almost raped her. She's spent the last months in seclusion, trying to avoid the press and living in fear that the men will return. She misses her old self. On a whim, she applies for a job at Cooper's Charm doing the landscaping. This provides the healing she craves.
The story is filled with memorable characters that leave the reader with a smile. Cooper is one of those men who I hope exists in real life. He's a genuinely nice guy who cares about people, even though he has suffered a terrible loss. Phoenix's sister Ridley is a sort of 'co-star' in the story and is just as memorable as Phoenix. The remaining cast are characters who I hope to see featured in upcoming stories.

What a wonderful new story by Lori Foster. This story was filled with such wonderful characters who were so engaging and fun even though they had some hurts they had to work through. I loved that no one was looking for love but they found it anyway. And the best part? There are two love stories in Cooper's Charm. Although the main hero and heroine was Cooper and Phoenix, there was also a secondary love story between Phoenix's sister, Ridley and another hunky character. Both couples had their own sexual chemistry and their love stories were both sweet and sexy hot at the same time. And there's a little mystery involved in this story too. This story is not very action packed and fast paced as her previous Bodyguard Series but more of a sweet and slow progression of events. It had a calmer feel that I really enjoyed. Made me relax and really enjoy all the aspects of the story from the beautiful location I wish I could visit too to the family feel of all the characters. They were like a big happy family at Cooper's Charm and I can't wait for some of the other secondary characters to have their stories.
*I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book*

This was the cutest book I’ve read in a long time. I wouldn’t hate to see it become a series, but I do love how it ended. This was my first time reading this author, but won’t be my last.

Coopers Charm was a very nice story with likable characters. It read fast and you felt comfortable in the story. Recommend it for a beach or vacation read!

I loved everything about this book. Actually it's one to go on my read again shelf. Everything about it, the romance , the strength, the small mystery was so entertaining. A real Winner.

Anything by Lori Foster is an automatic must-read for me, I want to live in her mind where the men are this manly and the ladies are this kick-ass. Cooper and Phoenix are another of my favourite couples, both are scarred and damaged, baggage trailing them, but surrounded by hope and beauty and humour - usually in the form of fabulous minor characters and situations. The only criticism I have of this story is (SPOILER) the burglar being our bad guy. With no real connection to Phoenix, the robbery seemed like a tragic and random accident. Having him show up in the 11th hour to be the Baddie was a little tooooo easy. Deus ex machina, if my definition of that is correct.
But the drama, the love, the characters and the story were so on point, I loved every second of it. Another great book by Ms Foster!!

I have read every book that Lori Foster has written but I think that this is one of the best one yet! It makes me want to live and work at Cooper’s Charm RV Park and Resort. This is just one of those books that you enjoy reading, can’t stop reading, and hate when it ends. All of the characters in the book from Cooper to Phoenix to Ridley to Baxter and on and on are people that you would like to know and count as your friends. If you have never read a book by Lori Foster, you can’t go wrong with this one being your first. If she’s one of your go to authors, this is one that you have to read.

In Cooper's Charm (Love at the Resort #1) by Lori Foster we are introduced to a variety of characters whom I hope to be able to follow for many books to come. Phoenix Rose had her world shattered by an unforgivable incident and when she finally decides to move on she takes a job at Cooper’s Charm, a lakeside resort. When Phoenix’s sister comes to visit she ends up extending her stay while she recovers from a horrible divorce.
What neither of them realize is that Cooper’s Charm is full of wonderful people – from Cooper (owner) to Baxter (scuba instructor) to Daron (the flirty and downright hysterical “knucklehead” of the group). All of them would do anything to protect their family – and that is what Phoenix and Ridley have become.
There is great banter between the sisters and an easy flow with all the interactions of the characters – Cooper’s Charm was a fun read and I can’t wait to see what comes next for the group.
I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest review.

Phoenix ends up at Cooper’s Charm Resort after a terrible attack and she and her sister find themselves in a great place. Mystery and romance combined.

Hot and sweet book!! Great read I really enjoyed reading this one!! It's got that home town feel! This is Phoenix and coop book, Phoenix is trying to get away from her past, she has a vicious attack at her landscape shop so she closes down loads up and moves to the lakeside resort of coopers charm! There she becomes the new gardener, and the hot owner is none other than coop!! There's a lot of hot moments when these two get together! It's a sugar sweet beautiful story! I will definitely read more in this series! The only downfall I have is that it's a little expensive! Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin for sharing this book with me! I definitely enjoyed reading this one!!

actual stars....3.75
What I loved: After reading several suspense thrillers, this was a breath of light, fresh air. Just what I wanted/needed....The story is a typical story by Lori Foster, so you know what you are getting.
What I liked: I liked the characters. I liked the story MC Phoenix was up against something a little different in this story.
What I hated: Some of it wrapped up a little too perfectly for me...but, then again...that's the hallmark of a nice romance novel isn't it?!?
I will be interested in the follow-up novels.
