Phoenix Rose takes a job at a lakeside resort, trying to make a new start after being attacked at her landscape store. At Cooper’s Charm she starts to recover surrounded by friendly co-workers and a job she loves. Coop, the owner of the resort, slowly works his way into her confidence and becomes very protective of Phoenix.
Phoenix is surprised when her sister suddenly shows up to check on her. Ridley is the opposite of Phoenix. Ridley is all flash, confidence and snarky; Phoenix worries about her appearance, is sweet and working on her trust issues.
I enjoyed watching Coop carefully work to make Phoenix more comfortable around him, all his internal thoughts were so sensitive. And the other men she worked with soon disarmed her with their charm and sense of humor, letting her feel safe around them.
Loved the way Ridley and Baxter played mind games, both leery of relationships but sexually attracted to each other and wanting to be the dominant partner in their dance around each other.

Phoenix wants to rebuild her life and Cooper’s Charm is just the place. Accepting the position as head groundskeeper Phoenix is finally in a place she calls home. Cooper bought the RV park after losing his wife and Phoenix is the first woman to finally bring life and excitement back into his life. These two are so perfect for each other. I loved all these characters that form this unique family. Lori Foster bring her characters such life and their stories so captivating that you can’t put the down!

Phoenix was attacked and robbed at her landscaping business. She hid and broke up with her fiancé. She applies for a job at Cooper’s Charm, a camp ground, lake, and RV site, as the head landscaper. She is trying to get her life back and start over. Cooper is the owner and has his own demons he has been battling. He has finally started living again and sees the fear behind Phoenix’s brave front. He wants to protect her but doesn’t want to scare her away.
When someone seems to be after Phoenix, Cooper will do anything to protect her. They start an affair but neither wants a long term relationship. But the more they are together, the harder they fall for each other.
Then Phoenix’s sister Ridley shows up and turns the scuba instructor Baxter inside out. She has been worried about Phoenix and comes to check on her and ends up working for Cooper too.
As the weeks pass and it seems the danger is past, the maintenance building is set on fire as a distraction to get to Phoenix. She has grown stronger in the months since she’s been there that she faces the intruder head on and fights back. When Cooper realizes that it’s a setup, he rushes to Phoenix to save her.
Excellent story and characters. Sexy, suspenseful, and funny. A sarcastic, witty sister and a lovable dog. Mrs Foster’s books will keep you on the edge of your seat and needing a cold shower.

Wonderful new story by Lori Foster. I have always enjoyed her mixed martial arts stories but I am glad to see a fresh series, Cooper's Charm seems like a great place to visit and an even better place for healing. That is why, after Phoenix goes through the trauma of being robbed this resort is the perfect place for her. She has a chance to build a new life for herself. To make the situation even better, her sister comes for a visit and decides to stay. This gives the reader a nice little side story. Great job Ms. Foster.

Two romance stories for the price of one. This book was sweet, hot, with just a little bit of suspense. Phoenix Rose (yes, it is a stripper name, and no she's not) comes to Cooper's Charm looking for a job, and to restart her life after surviving a devastating attack. Her sister follows soon after, and Ridley ends up falling for the scuba instructor, while Phoenix falls for the tragically widowed Cooper himself. But scary things start happening to Phoenix, and she eventually realizes that trouble has followed her to her remote hideout. The sex is hot, the relationships are funny/fun/complicated (I especially appreciate how prickly/funny Ridley is) and overall this is a fun romp.

Lori Foster is amazing. I don't know how she does it--each story is better than the previous one. I love, love, love her books!!

This is my second Lori Foster book and I was not disappointed. Over a year ago Phoenix was robbed and beat and nearly lost her sense of self. She decide to get a new lease on her life and moved from her home to another city to work in RV camp called Cooper's charm. While there sparks fly between her and the owner Cooper. First she very timid and scared to feel anything for Cooper but as time goes by their chemistry connection becomes stronger and stronger. They are other sub-stories going on beside the main couple. Phoenix sister Ridley comes to visit and starts a fling with Baxter the scuba instructor and there's Maris who runs the convenience shop and Daron maintenance man who attracted to each other but have not acted upon it yet. Also we don't only get a romance but we also get suspense. Someone who is possible after Phoenix and the police and Cooper is not sure who. Was a great sweet read. Review is on goodreads and amazon

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Another great book by one of my favorite authors. Couldn't put it down.

Good story. I felt there were maybe to many different story lines in one book. But over all it was good.

Lori Foster has a hit on her hands with Cooper's Charm. This book is a delightful mix of real life drama and finding love. I was enamored with this book. It had all the sweet feels I was hoping for and so much more. I highly recommend it.

Lori Foster has done it again!!
When I initially started reading Cooper’s Charm my heart went out Phoenix Rose and her situation! After events in her life left her needing a change of pace and location, she was very fortunate to get the job as head landscaper at Cooper’s Charm. Just as she was settling in and making friends her sister, Ridley, comes to visit and ultimately decides Cooper’s Charm in the place for her as well! From that point, I was completely intrigued and couldn’t wait to see what Lori Foster had in store for these sisters!
For all readers who love romance novels, but don’t want the commitment of a series, you need to check out Cooper’s Charm! Lori Foster has written an addictive standalone that’s sure to have you immediately hooked and the bonus is you get two love stories in one book! Because of that fact, there is never a dull moment- love that! As with all of Lori Foster’s novels, I didn’t want it end. I recommend everyone check out Cooper’s Charm!

Though Phoenix is the main event, bringing us to Cooper's Charm, we are treated to a double feature when her sister comes to join the team.
Phoenix has come to Cooper's Charm to fill the vacant Landscaper position. The fact that the resort is far from the beaten path, and her past, makes it even more appealing. The trauma that sent her running away has made her man-shy but the calm and sexy influence from her boss is helping her to heal and move on.
Cooper has come a long way since his wife's traumatic death five years ago. He too found new life when he found and bought the resort. He wasn't looking for a girlfriend when he saw Phoenix, but she changed his life anyway.
Ridley and Baxter are what I like to call the bonus story. It happens mostly in the background but is exciting to watch. Ridley has come to make sure her sister is finally healing and moving forward. Baxter is the resort's scuba instructor. Their relationship is fast and furious but it works for them.
I don't know if this is the start of a new series, but it feels like there will be at least one more connecting book.

A cute and charming read. I love Cooper's Charm. You don't get just one love story you get two. Sisters Phoenix and Ridley are awesome. Both healing for different reasons and their sisterly bound is amazing. Phoenix is searching for a place to heal and get back what she lost. Watching the changes in Phoenix as she gets her groove back is amazing. You can't help but be drawn to the chemistry between Cooper and Phoenix. Cooper is healing over his own lost. He is protective and caring. Total swoon worthy. Then we come to Ridley. She is a character but you can tell that part of it is because she is trying to heal from her past. Once Baxter enters the picture you can't help but root for her. I love the fight of attraction she puts on with Baxter. The chemistry is spot on. Baxter is charming and patient. He sees something worth fighting for. These two couples will leave you with your heart full. Lori Foster did a lovely job with this one.

A standalone from Foster, this is a sweet story full of happy endings, with a little bit of danger thrown in, as Foster does so well.

This was a wonderfully fantastic story. I really hope there are more. This book holds your attention and you really don;t want it to end. Phoenix and Ridley are sisters who are each going threw a tough time. they both land at Cooper's Charm lakeside resort. This is where they make new friends and maybe find new romances.
I highly recommend this book.
Thank you harlequin and Netgally for allowing me to read this book for an honest review.

Another great read by Lori Foster. I really enjoy her story lines and her characters. She is always a big seller in my store and I love recommending her books to new readers. I am looking forward to more books in her series

Lori Foster is one of my go to authors, most of her characters are such fun. I really enjoy when she incorporates animals. The descriptions of Sugar and all of her faces just made the story all that much cuter. This definitely goes in the must read again pile. Cooper's Charm was a warm-hearted read and what I needed at the time. Highly recommended!

Cooper's Charm is utterly charming and delightful! Phoenix and Ridley have wonderful friendship that shines throughout the book. Cooper and Baxter are hot and compliment them beautifully.
I found Phoenix and Cooper's romance a little stronger and believable. Ridley and Baxter was a little too insta-love for me and their ending was a little too sudden. There were a few moments where I couldn't quite believe a character's motivation, but overall this is a wonderful read I have no doubt I will come back to time and time again.

Phoenix has to get away from a traumatic event that changed her life forever. After doing some research, she finds a community that looks peaceful, gets a job, and starts a romance with Coop. Coop has been through a tragic event as well and Phoenix seems meant for him. Unfortunately, her past comes to harm her and she has to get her inner warrior woman back to fight it. Lots of red hot romance too!

5 stars
Phoenix (love the unique name) and Cooper’s romance was a wonderful mix of sensual and sweet! I enjoyed so much about them-their work ethics, dynamic personalities, and their shared love of animals, just to name a few. I also loved the delicious build up of sexual tension. Foster writes some of the best chemistry scenes between couples, so I knew the anticipation would be worthwhile. And when the fireworks finally erupted...yowza!
As a double bonus, we also get Phoenix’s sister’s romance. Riley is coming out of a failed marriage while Baxter, the resorts’ scuba dive instructor, is kind of a ladies man. I got a kick out of Riley’s sarcastic, sassy mouth and loved Baxter’s charismatic personality. The playful edge to their sexually charged banter was absolutely delightful, but the chemistry...think sizzling and electrifying!
The secondary characters are just as much fun! Cooper has collected a hodgepodge of employees who act like one big, crazy extended family. And who wouldn’t love that?! Their nosiness could be bothersome..and have the world’s worst timing when a certain someone was romancing his girl...however, to know there’s always someone there to help lend a hand or a shoulder for support said a lot about the group.
And I have to mention Sugar, Cooper and Phoenix’s unexpected furry bundle of chaotic fun! Dogs can say so much with their expressions and the descriptions of Sugar’s soulful brown eyes and head tilts conveyed a lot. Plus, she was just a super cute character!
Protective heroes, feisty heroines, one adorable puppy rescue, and a madcap group of charming secondary characters made Cooper’s Charm a delightfully warm-hearted read! Mild suspense and two great romances round things out in style. I have my fingers crossed in hope that there will be a few more stories to come from Cooper’s Charm RV Park and Resort.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
