Publisher's Description:

As a renowned arbiter of fashion and design, Miss Amelia Bonnington’s upcoming nuptials to Lord Derrick Brinsley have become the most anticipated event of English society. Her plans to create the perfect wedding must be cast aside, however, when her best friend’s brother, a member of England’s top code breaking family, disappears.

When his fiancée meddles in dangerous spy activity, Derrick, an undercover agent for His Majesty, must intervene. Now, it's up to Amelia and Derrick to safely locate the missing brother, prevent another abduction, and thwart an assassination. Can they outwit the French spies and still have Amelia’s fairy tale wedding?

My Thoughts:
This novella is part of the Code Breaker series and one I am happy I didn't miss.
A wedding, a woman on the verge of giving birth and a planned abduction make up this short read.
Who are the sculpted that plan to steal the baby and what is their motive?
It isn't Amelia's place to meddle in spy activities and Derrick intends to keep her safe while solving the mystery and keeping the Wedding from becoming a disaster.
I enjoyed this quick read and gave it 4.25 of 5.0 stars for storyline and characterization. There is not an actual intimate nature to this short story. It like the others in this series is based on suspense.
I received a complimentary digital copy of this book from the publisher to read and review. This in no way affected my opinion of this title which I read and reviewed voluntarily.

Amelia is getting married and being the fashion expert she is, wants the wedding to be perfect. Her bride groom-to-be works undercover to keep the Crown safe. It is time for the wedding and there is a kidnapping planned on the evening after the wedding. Amelia's best friend's brother has overheard the plot. Can the men keep the wedding on schedule and proceeding as if nothing happened and at the same time catch the bad guys? Will keep you wondering who the French kidnappers are and could they be sent by Fouche.

A very enjoyable short story which deals with the days leading up to Derrick & Amelia’s wedding. This novella is also very good, there’s spies, intrigue, happy events & a missing school boy, all of these led to an story I read in a sitting & I certainly look forward to more as there’s still a villain out there!
I’ve read a couple of the other code breaker books & this story whilst standing by itself also featured characters from previous books
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

I received this novel from net galley and the publisher for an honest review. Thank you!!
This novel was a good and quick read. It continues with the Codebreakers series and returns some of the old characters as well as he characters the story focuses on. Miss Amelia Bonnington is a designer and ready to marry her love, Lord Derrick Brinsley, a spy for the crown. However, before their wedding, Amelia's friend, Henrietta, goes into labor and Henrietta's brother goes missing. It is a search to find the boy before she finds out and Amelia needs to have everything read for her wedding. Luckily, her future husband, Derrick, is by her side and assisting in any way he can. However, there is still trouble from the French and those whom Derrick does not trust. Will Amelia and Derrick find Henrietta's brother in time and stop the plot planned against them and their friends before they get married?
