Reid and Brooklyn are like fire. These two go at it but what else do you expect from a Holmes brother's book. Farrah always has a way of pulling on you emotionally with her writing. If you have not read the other books series please do so.

Absolutely loved this visit to the Holmes family. Rochon's writing is tight and evocative and totally sucked me in. Loved it!

I enjoyed this book. I am a fan of this author's writing style. I look forward to reading the previous books in this series.

Farrah is a new author to me and I really liked her book it was well written and had good characters that you cannot help but like. This is Reid and Brooklyn's story while he does not want to be attracted to her he cannot help but like her and they were cute together I just loved how nerdy she was.I enjoyed it but wish I had read the previous books first

In the latest Holmes Brother series, we catch up with Holmes family. Reid and Brooklyn were two different people, but with so much in common. Reid is the baby of the family and acts as such from time to time. Brooklyn is an only child, who is accustomed to being in charge. The book started out slow and continued that way until the end. It was good to catch up with the Holmes, but Reid's story was not as exciting as the other brothers. Cute story.

Another excellent story by Farrah Rochon. Each story stands alone but also brings in references to previous books that meld them together..

I am not sure what I was expecting with this story, but this was not it. The story was slow at time but still OK. Reid and Brooklyn are very good together. I could feel how compassionate Reid was, but I was just expecting SOO much more romance between them. But I just felt like something was missing in this book. I felt like it wasn't finished when it ended. I was kind of disappointed when this story ended.

Reid Holmes is the baby of the family who has enjoyed his playboy lifestyle. But turning 30 causes him to reflect on his life. He and a friend are considering going into business for themselves. But he is wrangling with thoughts about whether leaving his cousin's construction company would be a sign of disloyalty.

Brooklyn LeBlanc has to look for a new job after her father is forced to close his business due to a financial situation and health reasons. She has always had aspirations of writing comics but felt she could never pursue those dreams.

Brooklyn is hired as the new site coordinator for Holmes Construction. Reid initially was unhappy with his cousin's decision to hire Brroklyn. But time and observation will prove just how right his cousin's decision was.

Reid and Brooklyn started out rocky but eventually that relationship turned into something they both had been looking for. The two will also learn valuable lessons in pursuing your dreams.
