I really loved this book and am so happy to have discovered this author! I am really looking forward to reading the rest of this series!

Only thing with this story is I do not think it is a complete novel but more of a serialization. I enoyed the plot and the characters and am disappointed that there wasn't a completion. Will look for the rest to finish the story

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a solid 3.5 star read for me.

I enjoyed the characters and the plot development. I thought Ava and Koah were intriguing personalities. I'm looking forward to getting to know Tiam, Dason, Uthan, and Roax. I thought the little we got a glimpse of seemed promising and intriguing.

I really liked the premise of Earth being post apocalyptic and that they are at the same time dealing with space pirates. I thought it was unique and well paced, even though it was a shorter installment. I knew it was part of a series and a cliff hanger so that did not bother me.

I look forward to reading more of this series and from this author.

In yet another dystopian future, a young scavenging survivor gets kidnapped by alien pirates, who take scavenging to another level. Then she’s saved by a space hunk who thinks she’s the answer to stopping an interstellar war.
Sometimes the cutesy first person tough-girl patter is hard to take, but other times it’s done perfectly. I love this character, snarky without overdoing it, even in her head. There’s been other characters like her, but the one she reminds me of the most is Wynonna Earp, for those who are fans of that show.
Despite it being labeled as an erotica, there’s actually very little sex, in fact the main character goes to great pains to remain pure, though she doesn’t mind the more foreplay parts of human/alien stimulation.
According to the blurbs, this will be a series of five books, all of them already written and released throughout the following months. It sounds like this was one giant book that got chopped up, but since this is the first, there’s no resolution here.
3.5 pushed up to 4/5

A good romantic read, hot and sexy yet with a storyline to back it up.

On the cover you can see the beautiful redhead Ava. At the beginning of the tome she is with her sister Lily but is forced to separate because the Pirates chase them and Ava is going to be kidnapped. Ell has no idea why they want her, but she will play the game hoping that they will not discover her ploy.

I discovered this book and this author by the site Netgalley, I loved the feather of it eager to read more.

I received a free copy of Oath Forger by Nia Mars in exchange for an honest review. First, I did not notice that this was a reverse-harem novel when I picked it up; I absurdly actually thought it was a YA novel. I was shocked at how much foreplay was in the book. Thankfully, the story ends before the parties actually hook up. I’m obviously not one for explicit sex. When I checked back, I saw that it is categorized as a reverse harem sci-fi romance, so the misunderstanding was completely my fault.

Second, the story was well-written and the main character engaging. If you’re into the multi-partner thing and science fiction, I think you’d greatly enjoy this book and the sequels, too.

I was sucked in from the first page. But it's annoying because it's not even half finished. I hate cliff hangers/ multi part books
