This book of essays by Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella is an absolute delight. Warm and witty. A gem.

This is a fun book of true stories from the lives of mother-daughter team of Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella. These two are super funny and that comes through with each story. They have a unique way of telling a story, and I LOVED it!

The hilarious mom and daughter duo does it again. I love their books! They are perfect for beach reading or when I just want to escape the chaos of my busy life for a little while. I eagerly look forward to anything from these two, especially together!

A jaunty little novel that lifts your spirits and brings a smile to your face. True to life easy read , with a bit of comedy and irony.

Lisa and Francesca had me literally laughing out loud throughout this entire book! This was my first of their books and I will promptly be going back to read all of their others. They are extremely relatable and it feels like you are hearing stories from your friends. I can't wait to read more from this mother and daughter duo!

The essays were cute - some were laugh out loud funny and others left me non-plussed.

I have enjoyed Lisa Scottoline's fiction books, but I'm not sure that this was my cup of tea.

Lisa Scottoline is one of my absolute favorite authors, and I have read all of her books. I really enjoyed this book of essays and was literally laughing out loud (getting odd looks from my family). Our library will definitely purchase. Thank you for the advanced copy.

I enjoyed this book as a light, quite frothy read - perfect for summer holiday reading. There’s nothing particularly deep or profound here but the authors do capture a positive and entertaining view of the everyday foibles of life.

Lisa and Francesca have you laughing out loud as you read their latest book. The articles from their "Chick Wit" articles from the Philadelphia Inquirer will touch you...no matter what you are dealing with in your life. They find funny things in almost every aspect of your life.

This is one of several of this series of books I have read and they are all a good read. And I would definitely recommend this for a light quick read that will have you laughing and shedding a tear or two.

I have been a fan of Lisa Scottoline for years. She is from my hometown, so she writes her books set in areas that I've actually been to. It's so fun reading her stories while imagining exactly what shopping center her main character just raced through! 

This was the first book I read that she wrote with her daughter, Francesca. And let me just say, it hopefully won't be my last! This book is a collection of short, mostly humorous stories from their lives. Whether they're hiking the Grand Canyon or trying to figure out what "adulting" means, they are a duo that anyone would want to be BFFs with.

This book didn't disappoint, just like Lisa's stand alone books! Check it out, you'll fall in love with this mother/daughter duo and probably want to read it with your own glass of Rosé!

I tried, I really did. This is a cute selection of short stories written by Lisa Scottoline and her daughter in alternating chapters. Try as I might, I just couldn't get into it.

This book is just more of the same, so it really did not hold my interest. The point of view stories and personal confessions might have been more successful as a blog because the redundancy gets tiresome after reading a few pages. I did laugh a little, but not nearly as much as I though I would. At the end of the day, I would choose to read Lisa Scottoline's novels before picking up another collaboration between her and her daughter. Readers who are interested in the private lives of their favorite authors might enjoy I See Life through Rosé-Colored Glasses.

I See Life Through Rosé-Colored Glasses is the first book I’ve read in this series—in fact, I was completely unaware of its existence prior to reading this book. I had no expectations as a result, but it didn’t take long for me to realize I’ve been missing on some seriously fun reading!

Each essay is short and most are laugh-out-loud funny. I don’t think I stop smiling (and laughing!) while I read this book. When I was younger, I adored reading books by Erma Bombeck, and I can tell you that the comparison to Bombeck’s books (mentioned in the blurb) is merited.

I definitely recommend this book for anyone who finds themselves in need of a light-hearted read. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. As for me? I need to carve out some time to read the rest of this series—I just wish it hadn’t taken so long for me to discover it.

I See Life Through Rose Colored Glasses by Lia Scottoline and Francesca Serritella. A very cute down to earth mother and daughter Conversation. Is great book for people on the go you can put it down and pick it up. Read a little here and there.

I love Lisa Scottoline's mystery novels so I knew I needed to read this. I'm almost ashamed to say I finished this in almost one sitting and might have kept my husband up because I was laughing so hard. The mother daughter relationship is amazing and I love their senses of humor.

This book is about a mother and daughter and their hilarious short stories about life in all its glory and crappy things that everyone goes through in life. This book will seriously make you laugh out loud constantly and you will honestly love every minute of it.

I have read several of these essay books by Lisa and Francesca and I enjoy them. They are a collection of short anecdotes (newspaper column-type) of their lives. This book highlights many humorous moments in their lives and allows you a peak at various areas such as their love life, pets, jobs, friends etc. The authors poke fun at themselves and at each other yet nothing is ever said in a mean-spirited way. It is obvious they have an incredibly close relationship. Throw in the jokes and jibes that come with a large Italian family, body changes, wardrobe malfunctions, technology and phobias and everyone will find something in this book that they can identify with and laugh at themselves. These are great books that I would recommend to other mothers and daughters so they can see the other side of the coin. Because each story is a short chapter this is a great book for busy people because they can pick it up and read a story in between their busy tasks. Women will definitely enjoy this book and probably all the others this mother/daughter team has written. I am definitely going to continue reading these humorous books so I can laugh at both my and their lives. We need that. I See Life Through Rosé-Colored Glasses by Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella (mother/daughter duo) had me laughing out loud multiple times. My favorite place to read is in bed at night. Well, my husband kicked me out of bed for laughing and shaking (for me, a side-effect of laughing really hard) so I went to my daughter's bed... she kicked me out too. A few things I found especially funny were Francesca buying toilet paper because she had already gone through the tissue box, Lisa's use of the word "hag", which is a word I grew up hearing all the time from my mom, and I'm convinced Francesca goes to the same drugstore that I do (even though we are on opposite sides of the country) because her description of the cashiers matches mine to a T. The snakes at Lisa's house were one thing that didn't have me laughing, I'm terrified of snakes and would most definitely have been in a hotel! But, the way she tells the snake incidents is amusing. The short essays range from super funny to even a few of them being sad. I always look forward to a new Lisa and Francesca book!

I loved this book! Mother and daughter team is awesome and love the real life stories I can relate to!
