I was interested in reading I Flipping Love You by Helena Hunting for two reasons. This past winter my husband watched countless and I do mean countless DIY home improvement shows. I never really saw these people as having real lives, hence I wanted to see how someone else imagined it. Second reason is the description, “He’s a fixer upper”; now that one line brought the troll song from Frozen straight to mind. I couldn’t wait to see how it all played out.

From the beginning this is one funny read. Romantic, yes, steamy, oh yes but so very funny too. I thought that Rian Sutter would come across as a poor little rich girl well, former poor little rich girl. No she is a much better character than that, along with a much more developed character than that. So is Pierce Whitfield. Together these two are competitive but, oh so hot. Flipping houses on TV never looked to be this much fun.

I received a free advance copy of this book from the publisher at netgalley.com. This is my unbiased and voluntary review. This is the first book that I have read from this author. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and look forward to reading more of her work.

Rian and Marley Sutter are fraternal twins who have been on their own since they were eighteen when their grandmother died and they were left by their parents with huge debt. They have been building a real estate business in the Hamptons, trying to sell enough homes, so eventually they can start flipping homes. Marley scrapped the paint off of a Telsa in the grocery store parking lot and took off. The owner, Pierce Whitfield, witnessed it and when he sees Rian in the same store the following week, he grabs her, not realizing that they are twins and he grabbed the wrong one. Rian is the responsible one and he is entranced with her from first sight, so he does what he can to get her info while negotiating the repairs and is unrelenting in trying to spend more time with her. She puts him off, because whatever happened with her parents ten years ago has left her not trusting anyone but her twin. But fate steps in, and they keep bumping into each other. Although a patent lawyer in NYC, he is in the Hamptons for the summer, helping his brother buy property for rentals. With similar interest, Pierce and Rian find they make a great team.

The characters are appealing and the story steamy and engaging, with witty dialogue and always nice, a dog.

Hilarious story! I’m a twin and although my sister isn’t scatterbrained like Marley, I could definitely see this happening to us! Time hasn’t changed the fact that some people only see what they want to see, and being a twin makes this so much more apparent.

It made me laugh and relax – another story to read until the wee hours because there wasn’t a good place to stop reading!

Marley and Rian Sutter are trying to rebuild their lives after their parents destroyed the family and their reputation. Buying, selling, and flipping real estate is what they know and their hope is to buy back their childhood home in the Hamptons, Mission Mansion, which was previously owned by their grandmother. Things seem to be going their way until two brothers, Pierce and Lawson Whitfield, also decide to buy and flip houses.

Lots of flirting via texting and face to face. Rian and Pierce can’t seem to stop the attraction between them but she doesn’t think it is a good idea to explore it. He’s never seen a challenge that he couldn’t win and that includes a woman.

Loved the interactions and HEA!

I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for the review.

Rian Sutter and her sister are trying to get their life back together by selling houses. She and her sister’s hope to use the proceeds to purchase homes to flip. Pierce Whitfield decides to take a leave of absence from a law firm after a patent issue and spend the summer in the Hamptons with his brother to also flip and sell homes. Pierce and Rian meet after an encounter in a grocery store and run in with their cars. With the competition between, will they both find what they both want in life?

I Flipping Love You has the three things I’ve come to expect from a Helena Hunting book- humor, heat and heart. From the unusual & hilarious first encounter to the oh so sweet epilogue, the story keeps you wanting more. The sexual chemistry crackles between the self assured Pierce and independent Rian as the rivals fight & ultimately succumb to their mutual attraction. Part of a loosely connected series, this enemies to lovers story makes for an enjoyable summer romp full of romance & fun.

In I Flipping Love You, Helena Hunting gave me everything I love about her books. Hot guys (even in budgie smugglers- green ones) lots of funnies, and a unique plot. Oh yeah, all the steamy schmexy times you expect from this author.

This is what I call a great beach read. It’s fun and flirty. Doesn’t take itself too seriously (most of the time) and is utterly perfect.

I flipping loved this book!

From the moment I sat down and opened up my kindle, I just couldn't get enough of Pierce and Rian. I love her name by the way :) Pierce isn't your typical a-hole type, nope on the contrary. This man, even though he was rich, successfully and gorgeous, he has a heart of gold. He wouldn't hurt a fly, let alone a person.

When Pierce and Rian first run into each other, it isn't in the best of circumstances, but they get to talking and trying to negotiate a hit and run accident that left Pierce's Tesla with a nice big scratch. Even though Rian didn't do it, she holds herself responsible and is negotiating with Pierce to get that resolved and in the process Pierce is trying to score a date with Rian.

But there's more to the story and I just ain't saying more (my lips are sealed). You'll have to read it in order to find out what exactly this book is about. But don't worry, you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

It's just so funny how they both go about doing things. They are the cutest couple and Ms. Hunting's humor in her books always has me giggling my head off.

I love Helena Hunting and all the books I've read from her so far have all been a top read for me.

Again, I flipping loved this book!!

4 “Hotness” Stars!

I Flipping Love You had me smiling from
the very beginning! It’s pretty much everything I crave in a RomCom.
Helena Hunting does this sub-genre so incredibly well and this story was no different.

Rian and Pierce have quite the first introduction.
I felt their chemistry immediately and so did Pierce. It was quite enjoyable seeing how persistent he was in making sure Rian admitted it too.
All their fated encounters had be laughing and swooning away.

The author did a great job on building up their relationship. Their banter was witty and hilarious; their chemistry was off the charts. I couldn’t get enough of them.

There was just enough depth to both characters and believable drama to balance out the light-hearted moments.

A fun, sweet and steamy read that I absolutely enjoyed.

A light hearted romance full of humour and a touch of angst. A great easy, fun read, by a great Rom Com author.

The characters had wit and sassiness along with hotness that you come to expect from Ms Hunting along with the quirky characteristics that make them stand apart.

Pierce, a lawyer, who has an incident with his car, finds the woman he believes caused it and ran. Rian, tries to tell him he’s wrong, but what can you do when you have a sister that looks exactly like you !

The story flows well and I enjoyed it, the characters we meet along the way added more depth to the story that I already enjoyed and left me wanting more x

I just loved this book... In fact, I have become obsessed with Helena Hunting. She has written a series that hit every mark for me. I read most of them while I was not in the privacy of my home... which meant Numerous Times, I was either laughing out loud or looking over my shoulder making sure no one could see the delicious, sexy, wonderful words that were consuming me.

NSFW took on knew meaning when reading during my breaks and lunch.

By far my favorite in the Shacking Up series and I flipping loved it! Once again Helena Hunting penned a super sexy and fantastically witty rom-com that I truly enjoyed.

What started off as a hit-and-run fender bender and a case of mistaken identity, Pierce and Rian made an immediate connection. Their romance, brimming with laugh out loud moments, a bit of drama, and a heavy dose of sensual chemistry, was an amusingly steamy read.

Rian Sutter, a real estate agent who doubled as a home flipper, struggled with finances after her parents left her and her twin sister virtually destitute. Saving every penny in hopes of buying back her grandmother's mansion in the Hampton's was her sole focus. That is until Pierce Whitfield, a broody-hot and swoon-worthy lawyer (who's also into fixer-uppers) entered her life in a whirlwind and under less than happy circumstances. From their awkward first encounter to finding true love, Pierce was annoyingly adorable as he wormed his way into Rian's heart.

Rian was a likable heroine. Uptight and set in her ways, she was overly stubborn while fighting off her intense attraction to Pierce throughout most of this read. Skeptical and quick to misjudge his intentions, Rian's family history tainted her trust in others and romantic relationships. It took some time, but Pierce's persistence in breaking through her tough as nails demeanor brought out the sweet and loving side to Rian's character. I loved all his smooth and charismatic ways. Funny and quite the charmer, he went above and beyond to prove he was worthy of Rian's heart and a hero who could make all of her dreams come true. All the while, I relished every moment of their sizzling hot passion, as well as their comical back and forth banter.

Another fun and lighthearted romantic comedy from Helena Hunting that I highly recommend. I'm addicted to this author's tales, her humorous writing style and most of all, her over-the-top looney characters. As always, looking forward to more great reads from one of my favorite authors.

Pierce is resilient in getting Rian to give him a chance and I absolutely adore the fact he doesn’t fold to the mold of his job. He’s a multi-threat heartthrob and I fell in love with his cocky attitude from the very start.
Going into this book, I didn’t have any idea what to expect from Rian and Pierce and how they fit into the Shacking Up world. Although minor it was a nice thing to read a little update on some of the other characters while exploring a completely new couple.
This is a beautiful romance between the two with bumps and twists but a HEA finish.
I definitely recommend this book.

This book may be part of the Shacking Up series but it can be read as a stand alone book. This has Helena's typical humour throughout which i love by the way. The enemies to lovers side of the story is great as it provides plenty of banter and one man or should that be woman battles which ramp up the sexual tension and humour. A great addition to a series of books i have loved reading, and i firmly recommend to everyone

I'm a HUGE fan of Helena, but this story didn't meet my expectations.
I think I king of miss “angsty Helena Hunting”.
It was just "bad timing", because lately I'm more into drama and I Flipping Love You is more a RomCom.
And since I "only" give it 3 stars, I'll refrain from reviewing the book out there

While I found the premise of author Helena Hunting's latest book, "I Flipping Love You" to be both interesting and compelling, ultimately, it fell short of my lofty expectations. It wasn't the story as much as the characters that I found lacking. In particular, the lead heroine, Rian, was often hostile and unlikeable, making her a constant source of annoyance for me throughout. Her counterpart, Pierce, on the other hand, actually turned out to be a fairly decent guy—not the arrogant jerk I fully expected him to be. Hence, his character alone was reason enough for me to want to see it through till the very end. And while there are parts of this book that have its merits, for me, there just aren't enough of them to warrant more than a 3 star rating. Still, for those of you who are looking for a steamy, summer read, then “I Flipping Love You” just might be the book for you.

I Flipping Love You-Helena Hunting.
While this is my first Helena Hunting book, it won’t be my last. What a great new find through Netgalley! The author has created the perfect blend of romance and comedy. For me, these books have been harder to find in the last few years and I am so happy to have found a new author. This reminds me of a Susan Anderson or Patti Berg novel. It starts out with a meet cute that’s not so cute with a mistaken identity. However, once this is straightened out the rom com begins. Pierce and Rian (our H & H) are in competition for the same piece of real estate in the Hamptons to do a little house flipping. Great premise for the book with lots of opportunity for the characters to engage in light banter. You can almost see the sparks! The characters are all appealing with a high routing value. I don’t want to spoil the story but just know it was a really fun read that had me giggling. Enjoy.

I Flipping Love You in the Shacking Up series is my favorite. This book is charming and full of humor! The chemistry between the two characters is sexy and sizzling. Rian and Pierce's banter between each other had me laughing and wanting a HEA from the moment they met.

Rian and her twin sister, Marley, are trying to start fresh with their career in real estate. After a family disaster, these two sister are trying recover from the destruction their parents left them.

Pierce Whitfield is a power lawyer from the city, but it's not what he wants to do anymore. He's been getting his hands dirty helping his brother rehab homes in The Hamptons. When he runs into the Sutter twins (which is hilarious!), the chemistry between him and Rian sparks.

Overall, it's a heartwarming and humorous read that all you HGTV fans will love!I'm hoping Marley, Rian's twin, gets a HEA with a Prince Charming.

I really enjoyed this one. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.

Rian and Pierce are adorable. Pierce is definitely going on my book boyfriend list. Flipping houses looks like a really interesting career choice, and I've enjoyed watching shows that focus on this. So reading a book that has that aspect was a joy.

I love the banter and chemistry between these two main characters. I like Marley quite a bit, although we didn't see as much of her as I expected given that she and Rian are twins. To be honest, I think I'd get along with Rian a lot better than Marley though. I like Amalie as well, but I'm kind of meh about Lawson. Trip is super cute!

I thought this book was just the right amount of funny, sexy, and witty. It's dual POV, and I enjoyed seeing both sides of this story. I loved the second book in this series (see my review here), and although I haven't read the first one yet, I knew I had to sign up for an ARC of this. I didn't remember any of these characters being in book two, but it's been a while.

If you like contemporary romance books, I highly suggest checking out this series and author. She's got a great writing style. I can't wait to read more from her soon!

I found this book to be funny, sweet and the perfect balance between lovers and friends.

I love books that can make me laugh and I Flipping Love You had that and more. The overall story was simple but the author kept the book interesting and I had a hard time putting it down.

Pierce has lost his passion for the family business, particularly what he does for a living. He's on a hiatus for the summer, spending time with his brother and doing what he loves, working with his hands. He's partnered with his brother Lawson, to become a leader in buy, refurbishing and renting on by Hamptons. These two quickly find out there are other players in town.

Rian and Marley are a dynamic duo. These two sisters have had it rough the past 10 years but have been able to rely on each other to build a successful career. They are faced with challenges but I loved how these two were able to persevere and land on top.

Rian and Pierce were accidentally brought together but Pierce was determined to make it work. I loved the banter and snark that they author used during their relationship. It as funny and sweet rolled into one! I can recall several laugh out moments in this book which made this an enjoyable read. In addition to the dailey chemistry they had, these two were explosive behind closed doors or on the beach.

There were a few storylines that I felt needed closure on but it didn't deter my over all like of this book.

I received an ARC for a honest review
