I found this book to be rather interesting and intriguing. The author, MIchael Withey, is an attorney that concentrates on civil rights, human rights, etc. The two victims in this book, Silme Domingo and Gene Viernes, were both friends of the author, so this case was very personal to him. I had a hard time putting this one down, as I wanted to know what happened next. At times I forgot it was fact, not fiction. I liked this book quite a bit. I highly recommend it.

I remember hearing about these murders when I was a kid. I didn't know what "salvage" really meant outside of the Marcos political killing context. It was good to hear more about this, although I wish the electronic ARC had the pictures embedded in the text and had the footnotes linked for better depth of storytelling, but that's just a formatting nitpick.
