I had no sympathy for Michaela, even though she lived a miserable life she didn't know how or want to stand up for herself. When she finally grew those brass balls and stood up for not only herself but Holden aswell I was happy she then started to grow on me.
This book is not your typical romance story. It's heartbreaking, its cruel and at times makes you wonder why.
I can't say anymore without giving anything away.
It's yet again another great read by Lily White.
