ARC received from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
I have read two of the stories (novellas) so far .
I decided to pick the authors I already know but I fully intend to go back to this anthology in the future and read more .
It is such a good way to try out new authors IMO.
Ratings are as follows:
House Arrest by Melanie Moreland - 3.75 Stars.
The Client by Jennifer L. Armentrout - 4.5 Stars (Oh so good for a short story, left me wanting more.....panting....and.....sighing.....)

A really good sexy contemporary romance anthology

I got this because I wanted to read Kat Mizera's story, "The Sidewinder's Siren", which is a new adult hockey romance. I really liked it.
The anthology has lots of talented authors, and there is a good mix of contemporary romance stories in here. The proceeds go to a good cause as well.
I received a free advanced reading copy via Netgalley, and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

I love anthologies and this one didn't disappoint. Usually, in a book of short stories, a couple fall flat. There wasn't a dud to be found. All in all, a great read!

Lovely sassy anthology by some amazing authors. And the proceeds go to a great cause!

I had only read a few of these authors, but I have heard of almost all of them. I love anthologies because you get to find new authors or experience authors you have encountered but just haven't read yet. Usually after I read any anthology I end up with a ton of one clicked books added to my TBR, this one was no exception. My kindle may not like me right now.

This book is a compilation of short stories by 16 different authors for a good cause. The stories are good and the prequels make you want to read more. Awesome deal for a set of short stories.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a wonderful collection of short reads perfect for when you are looking for something quick and satisfying. There is something for everyone in this anthology. The stories range from fun and light to down right naughty.

One thing I will say about the anthology is each is a brand new release so I don't have anything that isn't new to me. Most are complete to not leave the reader on the edge of a cliff. There are a few that are starts, and anxiously stalking the authors for complete stories.

Best of all, this supports VetSPORTS. Always one for supporting charitable purchases. Well worth the one-click.

I want to note this book is going for an awesome price on Amazon and all proceeds go to VETSports so it’s a win/win to hop on and download this one.

My Fate
by Julie Mishler
This is actually a poem…and a pretty good one at that. It’s not very long but the author does a beautiful job of getting her message across. ~ 4 stars

The Siren’s Assistant
by Amy Marie
I enjoyed this story much more than I thought I would. When first meeting the characters, they are quite abrasive. But once they’re really thrown together their chemistry is palpable and it really helps elevate this story. I was really rooting for them in the end. There is quite a bit of odd word usage that sometimes messed with the flow, but overall this was an excellent read. ~ 4 stars

Rekindle
by Ann Mayburn
This story is one of deep and abiding love. Megan and her husband Jason have hit a rough patch. She works too much, neglects her family, always has to be in control. Although the way this happens to many married couples varies, the story is really the same at the core. I found this to be a beautiful love story of two people finding their way back to each other. ~ 4 stars

Hot Chick for Hire
by Cat Johnson
This is how you write a novella for an anthology. I was hooked and now want to read more by this author and about these characters. To be fair, I have read another story by this author in the anthology Happy is the Bride so she wasn’t totally new to me. I loved her story in that book and I love this one. I really have to start reading some of her other work. ~ 5 stars

Siren’s Kiss
by CD Bradley
This one just didn’t do it for me. There were certain elements that intrigued me…there was a bit of a fantasy vibe going on for sure. But it seemed to really drag on. Too many insignificant details while not enough information to make it a satisfying read. At first I thought the stuff being left out was by design, but I was still not satisfied by the time the ending rolled around. But I can tell you exactly what everyone at the party was wearing! ~ 2 stars

Una Notte (One Night)
by Dani Rene
Mixed feelings on this one. I definitely had some interest in the story, but the main male character of Landon was almost like a caricature or the jerky, smug, hot guy trope. The pacing wasn’t bad and the writing was good so I may check out some of this author’s other books. ~ 3 stars

Hope Surfacing
by D.D. Lorenzo
As with Cat Johnson’s novella included in this anthology, this story could be a “how to” for authors trying to decide what/how to write for a collection. It hooked me early and kept me intrigued throughout. Ms. Lorenzo is a new-to-me author and I will definitely be looking up more from her, including this full-length novel when it comes out. Her writing is so fluid and lyrical even with the tough subject she was writing about. Color me intrigued. ~ 5 stars

Shakedown
by Elizabeth SaFleur
I enjoyed this story a lot and will most likely seek out more from this author. The intimate scenes were written well and the characters had decent chemistry, but there was something missing. Chemistry does not always equal fire. They had more of a simmer going and I always like having a fire. I’m always a bit hesitant to judge an author’s ability to write scorching chemistry on a short story or novella though. I’d be interested to see what she can do with a full length book. And it seems she has quite a few for me to choose from. ~ 4 stars

The Client
by L. Armentrout
Because I read so much, I sometimes lose track of an author. Not because they’re not good or because I don’t want to read their books. Usually it’s because I’m waiting for their next book to come out, or the library doesn’t have any of their books and I don’t have the money to buy any at the time. I really enjoyed this story. I looked up the author and realized she wrote the Wait For You series that I love under the name J. Lynn. (While it seems she writes more paranormal type of stories under this name the Wait For You series is not paranormal at all.) I’m not always game for a paranormal romance, but once I start reading one I always get hooked, so I’m not sure what that’s about. And this short story hooked me and really made me want to read a wider spectrum from this author. Sometimes re-finding a beloved author is like finding a great new author, if enough time has gone by there is a lot more to read again! ~ 5 stars

The Sidewinder’s Siren
by Kat Mizera
Wow. Just wow. That was very unexpected. What a raw and honest story. I cannot wait to read more by this author. ~ 5 stars

Rockstar on Pointe
by Laci Paige
Another awesome addition to this anthology by another new-to-me author. Some of the writing was a bit elementary, but the overall feel of the story really comes across. The chemistry was sweet and sexy. Looking forward to more from this author. ~ 5 stars

The Sheriff and the Cougar
by Lexi Buchanan
There were things I really liked about this story, but a lot of inconsistencies. Surprisingly, there was more chemistry than I expected since we didn’t really get much back story on how the initial attraction got started. I’d be interested to see what this author can do with a longer story. ~ 3 stars

Sugar
by Lydia Michaels
Super rough start on this one, but it ended up being really interesting and sweet. I really didn’t think I was going to like the heroine but the author did well winning me over with her eventually. ~ 3.5 stars

Remember With Me
by M.E. Montgomery
Great, full story told in a little bit of time. Conflict, love, hurt, healing. This author definitely has a gift at spinning a yarn. ~ 5 stars

Siren’s Song
by Maria Vickers
Although this story is a good concept, I think it would have worked much better as a full-length book where the reader could get more back story and depth. Also, there was a lot of double talk. All in all I liked this author. ~ 4 stars

House Arrest
by Melanie Moreland
Oh, how I wanted to like this story. From the outside it had a pretty good concept and the characters are really likable. The way Jenny ends up in Connor’s apartment at the beginning is really cute. But this one kept teetering over the stalker/obsessive line. I wanted to look at Connor’s actions as romantic, and often I could. Then he’d do something or thing something that was crossing that line again. It drove me crazy. ~ 3 stars

Savage Hope
by Sam JD Hunt
A more traditional siren story, weaving the folklore into the tale. The story was a short and quick read, not too detailed but it didn’t have to be. ~ 4 stars

So that’s it. I’ll tell you, it took me a bit longer than I expected to read this and I think it’s because, for some reason, I like to take a break between stories in books like this so they don’t all end up meshing together in my mind. The final star rating is the average of all of the above. Go grab this one and support VETSports!

A brilliant mix of stories that make you laugh even as they singe the pages/ electrics.
From a married couple trying to reunite to an unknown female stalking her prey, to a hired assistant that steps out into the spy field- a thoroughly captivating and engaging mix that leaves you wondering what next.

The Sirens of Sass is a compilation by 16 different SaSS authors including Jennifer L. Armentrout, Lydia Michaels, and many more. It is a great value and supports VETSports which is an awesome charity. These short stories and novellas have a little bit of everything! Be prepared for scorching hot to sweet, touching, emotional, and even a bit of paranormal!

Some of the authors you will know and others you will get to know. This has been a great way to experience new stories and new authors. Their stories are unique and enjoyable. So much talent in one place! I obviously gravitated to the authors I knew, and I am now going on to the unknown! I have read many of the stories and will continue until I finished. I am excited as I continue on with these stories. I know I will not be disappointed. And as I said above the proceeds go to a wonderful charity VETSports! A win/win for everyone! Hurry and grab it before it goes away…

This was a very good anthology. I enjoyed reading stories by authors that I knew and then getting stories by authors that I had never read before. There are 16 authors in this with some very good short stories. Theses are very hot and steamy books about sirens and their love interests from all types of situations. I’m never sure how to review an anthology with some many books in it but I can say that all the books in here will grab you from the first one all the way to the last one. I know you will find the ones that you enjoy in here. Plus, the proceeds go to VETsports so that makes a double whammy in luck. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4.5-I just finished this anthology and the authors did an amazing job with the stories. There were so many different stories and writing styles within this book and I enjoyed them. I love some more than others but I enjoyed the book a lot. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write about it.

Oh wow there are so many fantastic stories in this amazing boxset of books. Also loads of great authors that I love too. It took my awhile to get through all these stories. In all I loved nearly all of them. There was a couple that I didn’t connect with like I did with the others but there are too many fantastic ones to make up for that. I won’t give anything away as I hate that as I like to find out for myself but I would definitely say that there is so many books to chose from in this boxset that you have to pick a copy up as you don’t want to miss out on these stories, they will keep you reading for hours on end and it will be a absolute pleasure to read them all. I would absolutely recommend this boxset of stories to absolutely everyone as there is something for everyone in there. I would be looking up some of the authors for other stories by them as I’ve not read or heard of some of the authors and I can’t wait to read more of their books in the future.

My notable reads from the anthology have to be the two novellas below -
House Arrest by Melanie Moreland - 4 Stars!
The Client by Jennifer L. Armentrout - 4.5 Stars! (I wish it had been longer though)

That said, I also discovered a couple of new-to-me authors that definitely deserve a second look. I won't lie and say I read all of the offerings contained within, but I enjoyed all of the stories I did, this little collection is absolutely worth the investment, and for a great cause as well.

4.5⭐
This is a really great collection of stories. As there is literally something for everyone. Including spies, assassins, vampires, hockey players, and ex cons out to prove their innocence. And I honestly enjoyed reading each one. Even though some of them are from genres I wouldn't have normally read.
Which is why I think these collections are such a great idea. As you are able to find and experience new genres and authors. Plus, they raise money for a great cause and for me in particular, the highlights of this collection were:

Shakedown by Elizabeth SaFleur
The Sidewinder's Siren by Kat Mizera
Remember with Me by M.E Montgomery
Siren's Song by Maria Vickers
House Arrest by Melanie Moreland

And I would certainly urge everyone to pick up a copy.

Let the temptation commence. Sirens of Sass takes a walk on the wild side with an abundance of naughty to go with a hint of sugar. Get ready for a slow burn with inferno worthy results. Escape into a world of spicy stories where hormones are the dish of the day with a little sides of heart.
