A sinfully enjoyable read. The characters are well written and the storyline was developed. And don't be surprised if you're left fanning yourself while reading it...

Gwen has been hurt so often that she is very timid. Her ex, her family, why can't they just show her love? Questions run deep in Qwen's mind. In walks super hot Hawkins and Qwen cannot believe her luck. Could this be real? Who would want her? Man, this is another powerhouse by Marie Force! The character development, the scenes, the friendships, and feelings of the characters are truly amazing. I stayed up all night to finish because I could not put this one down. You will love it. Pick it up to learn about this couple. I highly recommend this one! Marie, another great book! You had me from start to finish!

3.5**** I had no prior expectations for this book having not read anything from this author before, but I found I really enjoyed it. Hawkins may have been a bit too Alpha male for me, but his heart was in the right place. Gwen had a very low self esteem due to prior abuse from her mother and ex, but with Hawkins and her friends help she definitely grew through the story. I enjoyed this and will be looking to read more by this author.

I didn't finish reading this book because I was far too confused. I first thought the author decided to change the character's name from Emmalyn to Gwen, but now I realize those are separate characters which just confuses me even more.

I started this book and was instantly caught up in it! The pace was fast and the plot line was intriguing! I felt by not reading Grayson's books that I was missing something (so I bought them to satisfy my curiosity). Great book that I could not put down!

This is Gwen and Hawkins story. Gwen was in an abusive relationship and has body image issues. When Hawkins sees Gwen, sparks fly he is all alpha and just wants to keep her safe and protected. Will they both find the love they are looking for? This is a fast-paced emotional read with plenty of drama and suspense. The characters are amazing and really draw you in. I was hooked from beginning to end. A good read.

Suddenly Us by Marie Skye, a spinoff from the Incapable series. I enjoyed reading more in Hawkins story. I enjoyed the characters and storyline. Another sure win. If you enjoy your storylines with some spicy content these books are for you. I look forward to reading more by Marie Skye.

I received an arc from Netgalley. This book had me torn. While It has it’s heartbreaking moments at times I felt it was a bit unrealistic. Hawkins and Gwen while they had an instant attraction and awesome chemistry they also tended to be a bit immature. Both had exes that they should have let go and cut ties instantly not let things drag on. Hawkins way of dealing with Gwen’s ex in the end was way unrealistic. He seemed to get away with a lot of unrealistic behavior.

While I say all that I still enjoyed the story and I enjoyed Hawksin and Gwen once they finally stayed and committed to each other.

I enjoyed this story, though it felt a little too jam-packed at times. So many things happened to the MCs - a major plot point would happen, and the MCs were barely done dealing with it (or not at all), then another major plot point would occur. My head spun trying to keep everything straight. That said, the MCs were realistic and their emotions and reactions felt real.

I loved this book. The idea behind it, the characters, the words, the descriptions throughout the book. From the beginning is was caught up in the pages of the magic and did not want it to end. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write about it.

Wow for this. Just wow. I cant think of any word strong enough. The connection between Gwen and Hawkins is wonderful and intense. Fabulous to read as it unfolds. More than that it is wonderful to see Gwen grow especially as she struggles in the aftermath of what she discovers was an abusive relationship, as she struggles to regain her own self, her mind. It is such an emotional story that progresses so well and deals with those emotions in an accurate way and with kindness. I loved it!

In those previous chapters from the Incapable series, from what I read, it feels like Gwen is a super sweet girl who always thought she doesn't deserve anything better than Blake. But after the appearance of someone who is so broken and felt so protective for Gwen, I'm head over heel in joy for Gwen cause I believe every girl deserves to be with someone who actually cares for them. Love the story very much and enjoyed the whole series a lot.

Suddenly Us by Marie Skye is the story of Gwen and Hawkins.
Gwen never felt truly loved and was always put down by her family and never seemed good enough. Then she met Blake and thought he loved her and would cherish her but he too became abusive. Hawkins was the one who stepped up to the plate and became what she needed and showed her that she does have value. Hawkins to had issue that Gwen helped him to overcome and together they were perfect.
This does have some possible trigger issue for some. Overall I enjoyed this book!

Suddenly Us is another emotion filled, riveting page-turner from author Marie Skye. If you've read the Incapable series (Incapable, Unjustly Destroyed #2, Infinitely Mine #3) you'll recognize the main characters, Gwen and Hawkins. I can't say enough about this author.. Well written characters, great plot line and plenty of steamy scenes. A definite 5 out of 5 stars.

It was love. I wanted to finally feel that I was wanted. It didn't matter if he thought I was worthless. It didn't matter if he degraded me, because he felt like it. Any love is better than no love.When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book i couldn't put it down. Marie is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up the great work.You should definitely read this book.
