I found this way too sappy and the MC's fell in love and forgave each other far too fast.

Loved this book! This is a delightful romance with a twist. Chloe and Thane have been corresponding via an app that hid their identities - which they both found freeing because it allowed them to be themselves in a way they couldn't in real life. They are both military police lieutenants assigned to the same location, but don't know that about each other. Chloe feels like a girl with her online friend, instead of the tough West Point grad and MP that she presents to the world, so she cherishes that relationship.

I loved the way the characters interacted online and how it contrasted with their real life interactions. I found myself invested in the characters and wishing for them to have a HEA. Additionally, the author brought a sense of realism to the characters and setting that most books fall short on. The actual rules governing military officers were woven into the story and actually helped to drive the plot. I must confess that, while I knew the most superficial rules that officers couldn't fraternize with enlisted, I had no idea just how stringent some of the other rules were.

I enjoyed every page of this novel and was sorry when it ended. This is the first book I've read by this author, but it won't be the last. I've added her to my must read authors' list.
