I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU by S.M.Thayer is a great suspense novel. I had never read any of Thayer's novels before but I will be on the hunt to read more from this great author.

Excellent. Read this in a couple of days having trouble putting it down. Easy to follow characters. Very enjoyable.

Packed with a cast of interesting (and unstable) characters, this is an interesting story of how money can’t quite buy everything. But seeing the lengths many will go to try to buy their way makes for a complex and fast-paced story that I enjoyed immensely!

This book was very engrossing. I found myself getting into the story right away, that usually keeps me reading.
There are not many likable characters in this book. You will find yourself disliking everyone at some point in the story.
The writing was wonderful and had a depth to it. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys domestic themed thrillers.

At what point do you throw in the towel when reading a book that just isn’t holding your interest?

After 100 pages of reading I Will Never Leave You, I’m finding it hard to keep going. Although the premise looked promising, I just can’t get into it. The characters are not relatable and I have to throw in the towel. 😔

Thanks @netgalley for this one, but I’m sorry to say that I just can’t finish it.

Good read with an interesting plot. I enjoy reading books that have multiple points of view. It was difficult at times to figure out who the good character was, because they all had flaws. Wasn't expecting the ending to go how it did, but was pleasantly surprised.

This book had an amazing beginning a woman Laurel, fawning over a newborn baby only to reveal to the reader that the baby isn't her but her husband's mistress' (Laurel). The book then jumps back in time to talk about Trish's relationship with her husbnad and her inability to conceive. It was really heartbreaking to read about all the pain she went through and with no success in bearing a child. There was a lot of jumping around so I found that a little consuming on what time line was being talke about however the author did a great job of setting things straight right away so you weren't confused. When Trish's husband tells her to divorce him so he can be a father to his new child and be with his mistress that is when the book really starts. Trish refuses and becomes obsessed with making the new born baby hers. Trish also hires an investigator to look into his mistress and find out what she is really like. I really liked the story line its not something that I've read about a lot before and I thought that it was very refreshing to get different takes on what is going on from all the characters involved. The best part is I found all of the main characters very intriguing and I had to know more about what was going on in their situations. I couldn't turn the pages of this book fast enough. Great read and I'm glad I got the chance to check it out. I think the best part is watching how our main character changed as the book progressed. This is one book that you must check out it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. One of the best thrillers I've read all year.

This book definitely kept me interested. I kept turning those pages dying to see how the story would unfold.
I was not disappointed.

Trish has it all, a beautiful home, a husband and enough money to buy almost anything she wants. What she wants is a baby, and while she may not be able to have one, her husband’s mistress has had a lovely baby girl. Trish wants the baby for herself, no matter that James and his mistress have planned a life for themselves and their child that does not include Trish. Trish wants the baby and James wants out of their marriage, how far are they willing to go to get what they want and who will be left standing after the smoke clears? I didn’t like either of the main characters in this book, but I didn’t have to. I just sat back and waited for one of them to get their comeuppance. And it was worth waiting for

#I Will Never lLeave You# NetGalley#

I was given a free copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest and fair review.

I enjoyed this book and would rate it 3.5. It has interesting characters that are terribly flawed. You never quite know where the story is headed and just have to wait for it to unfold. At first, I did not find the characters very likable, but as you get further into the e book this changed for me. Even though I couldn’t identify with the characters at all, I still asked myself how they acted as they did. I did feel the author being a man missed some idea of how a newborn baby acted and misrepresented this in the book. But, then when you finish the book, it didn’t detract from the storyline. It did have some chilling scenes in it that kept you on the edge of your seat. I like a thriller that keeps you guessing to the end and this one delivered. For a debut novel, I think you are an author to keep my eyes on.

This book wasn’t as good as I was hoping it would be. It had a great concept and plot with a good character development but it wasn’t that engaging to me. I just couldn’t get into this book which is why I am giving it only 2 stars. It just wasn't for me. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this book for my honest review.
