This is an adorable and unique book of dog photos taken from underneath them. Who doesn't love dog bellies and toes? Not anyone I want to know. It's a perfect gift for dog lovers and sure to provide many smiles. It cheered me up on a bad day.

This is an adorable photography book of Dogs. The book is a little too short and I would have liked to read more the dogs in the photographs. This book will make a great gift for any dog lover. A perfect coffee table book

Under Dogs by Andrius Burba is an absolutely adorable collection of pooches photographed from beneath a glass plate. Many different breeds are represented. There were even a few mutts! I found it amusing that only the two mutts had full open mouths. I may be wrong, but I'm guessing that the breeds are show dogs. Many, though not all, had a sort of 'show dog’ stance. They looked all prim and proper, haha. Each dog gives the breed, and the doggo is on the opposite page. I loved the ones who were just all floof, with little paw pads. This is the perfect gift for dog lovers, and would make a lovely coffee table book.

***Many thanks to Netgalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for providing an egalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Delivers exactly what it promises. Are you having a bad day? Do you want to see what dogs look like when they're sitting on a glass table? Of course you do. Look at this, smile, and feel a little better about the world because doggies.

Under Dogs is an odd yet kind of adorable book created by Andrius Burba. Following in the footsteps of books like Shake and Underwater Dogs is a picture book of a variety of breeds of dogs, taken from beneath them. There are a range of photos, interest-wise. Some are positively adorable. some are very so-so. And while this isn't the type of book that I can see most people spending copious amounts of time looking at, it would be a great coffee table book, or one put out in a waiting room. It would be a great gift for lovers of man's best friend!

Under Dogs by Andrius Burba is a book of dog photography showing our furry friends from an unexpected perspective--from underneath. In the vein of bestsellers like Underwater Dogs and Shake; Under Dogs is an unique look at man's best friend. The images of dogs taken from below are by turns surprising and hilarious—providing readers with a little-seen view of the pets we love.

Under Dogs is a book of dog photographs like none you have ever seen before. I like that there were a variety of breeds, and often the dogs are just being cute, goofy, or weird- not always perfectly posed and behaved. The images are crisp and clean, and the constancy of the background and set up made the similarities and differences of the different dogs stand out. It was interesting to see some breeds that I had never even heard of before, and some more popular dogs. My daughter (animal obsessed third grader) and I flipped through the book together a few times, enjoying the images. If you love animals, dogs in particular, and want a unique view of them this is a delightful book to take some time and enjoy.

Ooo. In some of these pictures, there was a little too much information about some of the dogs. Not my favorite. Unfortunately, I didn’t finish it.

When I saw this book I couldn't help but request it and take a gander. "Under Dogs" is a wonderful book of photography by Andrius Burba which features photos of dogs taken from underneath. The perspective of these photos only adds to these dogs' character and they actually seem to leap off the page. While there was no boxer present, there were definitely lots of other breeds and I had fun looking at them and sharing the more interesting ones with my family. If you love dogs and enjoy photography, this is one you must see.

I obtained a copy from the published and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I will be picking up a physical copy for my collection at some point in the future. Great book!

The concept of photographing dogs from below is very different and it works! These photos are beautiful and so unique. The photos are very natural and not forced.
I feel that the book is let down a little by the “title” pages for each dog, they could be improved with some information about the dog or breed and some of the dogs could have a lighter background as the detail is hard to see on a black background.

Be right back... adopting every dog at the local pound! This book photographs handfuls of different breeds and makes it near impossible to pick a favorite. A different perspective than the norm allows you to see the pups from below. 10/10 would buy as a gift

Dogs. How can you hate this book? It's the perfect coffee table book. You can easily fill your free time looking at a perfectly shot picture of a pooch.
Beautiful and artistic, but probably not as funny as other books on 'dogs doing stuff'.

How could you not be happy while reading this book?! Dog lovers everywhere will get a kick out of this new photography series where dogs of all breeds are captured from underneath a glass tabletop. Readers will laugh and giggle at all of the silly ways the dogs' bodies take shape while lying down. If you're looking for a coffee table book full of happiness and joy, look no further.

Under Dogs by Andrius Burba is a book I requested from NetGalley and the review is voluntary.
If you like Dogs Under Water than this is your kind of book. I am an animal lover and this is a picture book of dogs from a view most of us don't intentional see. It is from the bottom side up, like they are standing on glass and the picture is straight up. Quite a view! Heartwarming and curious looks from the canine friends. They probably think the photographer has lost their mind. Amazing pictures that brought a smile to my face.

When I saw the cover of this book, it reminded me of ‘’ by Carli Davidson, and ‘Underwater Dogs’ by Seth Casteel. I read ‘Shake’ the year it was released, and loved the photographs. Those moments in time that are captured aren’t your standard snapshot photos, capturing the drops of water flying, the awkwardness of the expressions of stance of the dogs mid-shake. So, when I saw this, I knew I wanted to check it out. I’d say “read it” but this is, primarily, a photography book, and not one that one really “reads.”

I love my dogs, but I love all dog breeds, all sizes. I also love cats, but the subjects of the photography in this book are all dogs. The photographs are all taken from underneath the dog, probably a different perspective of seeing a dog for almost all of us.

My favourite picture in this book is the first one inside the book, the German Spitz, four tiny black paws in a cloud of white. The Thai Ridgeback is another wonderful one, with an expression that rivals Scooby Doo’s concerned ‘huh?’ look. The Saluki looks as if it’s elegantly paused midway through a canine grand jeté. The “mutt” pictures are ridiculously adorable, especially the second one. The Bichon Frise resembles a loosely stuffed toy that has been casually tossed onto a young girl’s pillow as she’s rushing out the door. The second greyhound’s weirdly angled position somewhat resembles a bat in partially poised in flight.

Photographing dogs is not easy, it requires the patience of several saints, the perfect lighting and timing, and hopefully not only shows something new about the dog, but is worthy of an ‘awwww’ or appreciation of the skill of the photographer. This includes both.

Many thanks for the ARC provided by Andrews McMeel Publishing

This was cute and had a couple of breeds I was not familiar with. However, I flipped through it in a minute or so. My favorite breed (Newfoundland) was not represented and, although I enjoyed many of the pictures, I doubt if I would look at it a second time.

I wouldn't have thought that photos of the undersides of dogs could be so delightful, but they definitely are! A variety of breeds are on display here, and all of them are adorable. This is a great coffee table book. I only wish that the author had provided a little information about the dogs in the photographs beyond their breed - but as it is, it's a fun (and surprisingly beautiful!) collection of photos.
