A bit too heavy on narrative for my taste, so it was a little draggy. I liked Brant, his brothers and Jax. Molly was a bit wishy washy. I'd enjoy reading the brother's stories.

Very cute romance story. I didn't read the series before this so, I wasn't familiar with the couples or the town, but I had no problem reading this as a newbie. I will be going back to read the other series since this book gave me all the feels.

thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

This was an ADORABLE book. It was super cute and who doesn't love a sexy guy taking care of a baby? It was well-written, had small town charm, and just enough chemistry. I enjoyed it a great deal and will look forward to more by this author.

I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Brant Wylder was in Misty Bottoms, Georgia as Best Man for a friend. He and his brothers owned Wylder Rides, a company that customized vintage cars, and their business was booming. While Brant was here he was going to check a couple spots he hoped were perfect to expand their business. He was fascinated by Molly Stiles who owned The Little Black Dress, a bridal boutique in town. Her friends had their own shops, a perfect complement to each other, florist, bakery and Magnolia Brides a low country mansion perfect for weddings. Brant and Molly felt the sparks, but he’s leaving, and lives in Tennessee, and she was getting her business off the ground.

After a serious drunk driving accident, his sister was hospitalized and someone needed to take care of her son, Jax, a seven month old who luckily was not in the car. Brant is closest. So his adventure begins. Sleepless nights, nasty diapers and somewhere to live temporarily. Molly steps in to help, as well as the “sleepy low country town that oozed Southern Charm.” Soon he was equipped with everything, except a nights sleep.

Brant’s banter to Jax is hysterical, and the changes he brings to Brants life are all for the better. Molly and Brant, despite their misgivings, have growing feelings for each other, and taking care of Jax brings them even closer. The little guy has stolen her heart, now Brant wants it too.

This is a sweet small town romance that will pull at your heartstrings and entertain you from the first page to the last. I enjoyed it very much.
Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

I’m apparently a sucker for a romance that involves a baby! This one is the single dad raising a baby trope but with a twist. I really liked the hero and heroine in this one. I liked the focus on family ties and how the two of them worked on their own issues as part of their coming together. Their friendship was a highlight of the story. I’d say this is more sweet than sexy which was nice for a change of pace. I’m excited to see this is the first of a series because I can’t wait to see what is to come with the hero’s brothers who I believe are the focus of those upcoming books.

I loved everything about this book and Lynette Austin is now one of my must-buy authors because of her delightful storytelling style. In addition to the two main characters, Brent and Molly, the highlight of the book is Brent’s 7 month old nephew, Jax. Many authors introduce a young infant to their story and proceed to write the rest of the book as though the child is off in another room most of the time. Ms. Austin made me fall in love with Jax through his facial expressions, his babbling baby talk and his man-to-man conversations with his Uncle Brent as well as his flirting with heroine, Molly, and every other person who interacts with him. Brent is a very capable uncle and I willingly admit that I fell in love with him just as much as he falls in love with Molly and the new town that he will soon be a part of. Great storytelling like this deserves every one of the stars in my 5 star rating. If I could, I would give it ten stars and that’s why I’m the newest member of the Lynette Austin fan club. You will love this book! I read a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley and all opinions expressed in my voluntary review are completely my own.

I received Must Love Babies for free in exchange for an honest review. I have never read anything by Lynnette Austin before, and based on the title, I admit that I was expecting something pretty hokey. I have to say that I was wrong. It was pretty good. Spoiler alert-- Brant's sister is in an accident and he needs to take care of his infant nephew. It was also pretty realistic with him having to take care of his nephew. It wasn't sugarcoated. He was exhausted. There were poop blowouts. There was sleep deprivation. Ms. Austin also described the baby as being so adorable! I have to say that it started to make me want to have more babies! He starts spending time with Molly (a flower shop owner) in the town he is staying in) and they start on a friendship that turns to a romantic relationship. Some of Molly's hang ups about having a relationship are a little unrealistic, but she is still a likable character. Overall I did enjoy the story quite a bit and will be looking for more by Ms. Austin.

Lynnette Austin never stops to amaze me with her humorous and well developed plots, characters with great depth and storylines that make you root for a beautiful HEA all the way through. And this book is no exception. Just loved it from start to finish and definitely has me coming back for more. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to all book lovers out there

Brandt was at his fraternity brother’s wedding reception and he and his new bride had just left. Brandt went outside Molly who had been a bridesmaid and walked down the aisle with Brandt was outside and Brandt thought if she was a vintage car he would know what to do but… Molly and Brandt have already bumped into each other twice and she stirred up feelings in Brandt -feelings he had no time for yet he itched to explore. Brandt’s friends seemed to all getting married. But marriage wasn’t in Brandt’s plans. Brandt and his brothers had a lot riding on their business and Brandt needed to concentrate on that. Molly seemed to be the only female not to be in a hurry to marry. But Brandt wanted and got a dance with Molly she was so hot and safe. Brandt had stolen a kiss from Molly but then his father called and his sister Lainie had gotten in a car accident while she was drunk and it was serious and she was in the hospital and a police officer had her seven month old son Jax at the hospital but if Brandt didn’t get there soon the baby would be put in foster care temporarily. Lainie had .started drinking in HS but had been sober for five years as far as they knew. She was suppose to be in Florida with their aunt. Molly owned The Little White Dress shop and that was her life right now. Molly had mapped out her life years ago. And penciled in a wedding after her business took off, But she would still have to find Mr. Right. But for the next three years she’d concentrate on her business. She had stumbled off course once with Keith and fallen hard. Molly had thought he was the one then he grew distant and confessed to sleeping with a coworker and Molly ended their relationship. Brandt pushed all of Molly’s buttons. But she couldn’t do anything as she had learned when she messed up with Keith. Then Molly saw Brandt in the store and offered to help with Jax while he went to see his sister. Brandt felt there was something about Molly.that restored Brandt’s equilibrium while at the same time something sent him skittering out of control and that didn’t make any sense at all.
I loved this book. It was a great romantic read. I loved how Brandt was with his family and the relationship they had. I loved Brandt and Molly together and how they interacted with each other. I loved how everyone helped each other and the way the small town was depicted in this book. I loved the pace as well as the plot. I hope to read more from this author and hopefully Tuck and Gaven and Lainie will have their own books and I get to read them. I happily could find nothing to criticize in this book. I loved the characters and the ins and outs and I highly recommend.

This baby's not the only one in need of a cuddle…

Brant Wylder is a bachelor and loving it! He's in Misty Bottoms, Georgia, property-hunting for his vintage car repair shop when he gets the call. His sister's been in an accident, and Brant has to drop everything and take care of his five-month-old nephew. That's the end of the bachelor lifestyle.

Bridal boutique owner Molly Stiles is all business all the time, until she sees that Brant's in trouble. In this Southern town, nobody ever has to go it alone. And besides, how can she resist that beautiful baby in the arms of a beautiful man…?

I adore books with babies and I mean that in such a way that if I even see one on the cover - I'll buy it, borrow it or request it. I can't help it and that perplexes me because in real life I'm not a kid person. I don't know what to do with them except stare at them like they're a really weird thing that needs to be fed. I'm one hundred percent serious. I really loved the way that Brant is with baby Jax and the chemistry that he has with Molly. This series is a spin-off of another series and you can see all of those couples in this book and I love when that happens. The one thing that I really didn't like was Molly's personality...she kind of seemed a little immovable to me. Like it was her or the highway sort of thing and I kind of like my characters flexible when reading a good romance.

The cover and the description makes the book seem very interesting, but I couldn't get into the book. I tried several times.

From the parts I was able to concentrated and read, Brant and Jax are adorable together. I really like how their interaction was written.

Overall though, the book just didn't hold my interest.

Brant Wylder is living the life, pursing his passion for vintage cars alongside his brothers, when Mr. Dependable finds himself the temporary guardian of his baby nephew, just when he’s debating turning up the heat on his ongoing flirtation with bridal boutique owner Molly Stiles. How’s a guy to juggle baby duty and wooing a woman?

This story has all the ingredients to make it a splash – a hot bachelor, a baby and the only woman who revs his engine. Brant and Mollie’s relationship was cute and sweet and I really enjoyed his relationship with his family. The story also felt familiar because of the secondary characters from the author’s Magnolia Brides series.

But it also felt off to me. A lot of the background between Brant and Mollie is missing and their relationship feels like it’s missing some depth. Brant was a really great guy he did most of the heavy lifting, while Mollie’s inflexibility made her quite unappealing.

Jax the baby was the star of the show and an integral part of the story, but also comes across a filler because without him, what was developing between Mollie and Brant was very thin.

I was a bit disappointed because I have enjoyed Ms. Austin’s writing style and her sweet and flirty romances, and I hope the next book is better.

I was given ARC copy by netgalley and sourcebooks in exchange of my honest review.
Brant Wylder is a man's man that can do anything with his hands. Until he gets a call that his sister has been in an a car accident. Now he must take care of her son. The only problem is that he doesn't know anything about babies.
Molly Stiles is starting a new business and don't have time for men. When she sees Brant struggling on how to take care of a baby. In trying to help him , things start to change.
Will the baby bring them together or not??? Fun read and a must!!

Brant and Jax make this story!

This story is the first in Lynnette Austin’s new series Must Love Babies. This book and series is a continuation of the Magnolia Brides series. As this is the first book from this author that I’ve read, I did feel I missed some information on the H and h’s prior encounter or relationship.

I generally enjoyed this book, although I felt it dragged on. That may be a result of the frustration and annoyance I felt over Molly. Molly seemed to me to be totally indecisive, but she was playing Brant all the way through their relationship. Brant, on the other hand was a stand up guy. He seemed to be willing to let himself be played and used which was frustrating as well. I really enjoyed the interactions between Brant and Jax.

Although I wasn’t a huge fan of this book, I’d be willing to give Lynnette’s books another try in the future.

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of this book and I am providing my honest review.

❤️❤️❤️❤️ out of 5
This book should come with a warning: may induce spontaneous combustion of your ovaries. There is something so attractive and just HOT about a man with a baby, I can’t even deal right now! This book has brought that in spades. And it doesn’t exactly sugarcoat life with a baby either which made the hero’s struggles even cuter and more laughable! Baby doesn’t have a cot? Sure why not put him in a padded drawer 😂😂
.
The book follows our hero, who along with his 2 brothers restores vintage cars. At a small town wedding he shares a magical moment with our heroine, only to receive a phone call that changes his life in an instant. His sister was in a car accident and someone needed to look after her 7 month old son right away. What follows is our hero trying to do the best for his nephew while his sister recovers. Add into the mix our heroine, the owner of a bridal boutique, who spends time with him and the baby and he can’t help but fall in love.
.
I loved how the hero always would step up and do what needed doing as well as giving his all into taking care of his nephew and not holding back from falling in love (seriously where can I find one of these). The heroine was where all the push back came with her having a list she didn’t want to deviate from- although I personally found it silly but that’s just me. The one thing mainly that stopped me from ultimate praise of this book was the sexual chemistry and build up only to have it fade to black. Don’t build me up then leave me hanging!

While this is a new series, it technically is a continuation of the Magnolia Brides series and will likely make some readers frustrated. I’m kinda used to joining these kinds of things in the middle and I’ve figured out how to push through it but there are a lot of references to Brant and Molly’s friends & their romances/connection to one another. I’m sure that returning readers will be thrilled but newbies will need to be willing to wait it out – eventually you do get a pretty good feel for context.

Brant and little Jax are by far the highlight of the book. As the family fixer, Brant takes on caring for his sister’s baby while she’s in the hospital and later rehab. Unfortunately (and adorably) he’s clueless about babies but he does figure it out, leading to quite a few “awww” moments along the way. As if that isn’t enough, the family is also looking at moving their business to a new state and there’s his attraction to a pretty boutique owner that is proving a bit hard to resist. All of it adding up to complications that he didn’t necessarily plan on.

Molly has her own plans and they don’t include a guy for another couple of years. A light flirtation at a wedding isn’t really going to change that … until the guy ends up staying in town – charmingly clueless but determined to be a good uncle. With baby in tow and all his appeal on display, Brant is making it hard to remember why she isn’t getting involved.

There’s also some daddy issues on Molly’s side that only exacerbates her attachment to her timeline. The list she’s pretty set to live by does create a push/pull between her and Brant that put quite a few reviewers off, but I found that he’s appealing enough to help me through those moments. While not my favorite type of plotline, Austin does a pretty good job of giving readers good characters and engaging interactions that help move past some of the more difficult bits.

Molly Styles has a plan and she's sticking to it. She is out to prove to herself and to her family that she can make it in life, and do so successfully. Her plan has no room for a serious relationship, and that isn't really a problem because she hasn't been too tempted to mess with the plan.

Until now. Molly met Brant at a wedding, and sparks definitely flew between them. Fortunately, he doesn't live in the area. At least, he doesn't until a family emergency the night of the wedding has him taking guardianship of his nephew and so he stays in the area to be close to the hospital where his sister is recovering. Now, Molly has no excuse not to indulge in a fling with Brant. And indulge, she does.

Must Love Babies features some great role-reversal. It's Brant who has to learn how to take care of a baby, Brant who learns to covet sleep and how to care for a small child. It's Molly who drops in to provide respite for Brant, and who must be convinced that the two of them belong together.

I enjoyed the story, and I really didn't expect it to like it as much as I did. The characters were engaging and I got involved with Brant and his sweet little nephew. I liked that drunk driving wasn't glossed over or ignored, and that characters have real issues. I couldn't wait to see what would happen next. There are more books in this series, and I assume that the other brothers will get a book. I'm hoping the sister does, as well, so we can see her overcome her alcoholism and problems that drive her to do the things that she does.

Hey All! So I’m here to give you a review on this gorgeous book. And yes I mean gorgeous. Have you seen the beautiful man….I mean Baby on this cover? So cute!

So some of you know that I only gave this 3 stars on GoodReads, and I promise to get to that in just a second. Hang on with me for just a second. I truly enjoyed this book. I thought the story line was cute, I thought the characters were well played out, and I loved that happy ending (I will try really hard not to spoil it)!

You will laugh reading this, you will feel remorse, you will feel anxiety, but yet throughout it all you feel a sense of comfort and contentment. You just know it’s all going to be okay in the end. Maybe that was something I didn’t like. It was rather predictable to me therefore I never was really anticipating much from these characters.

Now I said that I enjoyed the fact that this book had a happy ending, there is a part of me that is screaming at this book because it’s missing that emotion to connect. It needed a bigger sense of tragedy to me. Like why did everyone have to live? I’m just throwing that out as an example. I love happy endings, but I needed something more from these characters.

Maybe I’m the first to say this, maybe I’m not but I HATED MOLLY! UGH! she has got to be the most annoying character I’ve ever had to read about. I know she was needed but her personality could have been less snob-ish. You can thank Molly for me not giving this book a higher rating.

“Oh I can’t be with someone because I’m not old enough according to my list. “

Please note that the above quote is sarcasm and not a legitimate quote from this book. I was granted a review copy through NetGalley.

Like COME ON WOMAN! Pull yourself together girl…

Must Love Babies was a romance novel without the romance. It was a greater sense of family values than it did romance.

If I had to describe this book in one word it would be : CUTE

I think I gave myself higher hopes for it therefore I was just slightly disapointed in it. (thanks to Molly…)

Hope you enjoyed this review!

Best Wishes and Happy Reading,

I love stories with babies. Brant's sister was in an accident and he stepped in to take care of her baby. He meets Molly who owns a bridal shop. She is sweet and loves the baby but has a big list of what she wants to happen in her life. It's a sweet story that keeps you entertained all the way through. I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review
