The sweet, adorable title and book cover lured me in to give this new to me author a try. Though at first the writing style felt somewhat mechanical, it did improve to the point I began to feel engaged. Brant, the hero, by far brought out the best of the story line with his swoon worthy manliness as he unexpectedly had to step into the shoes as caregiver for his infant nephew. His good natured, tender loving attitude towards Jax really melted my heart.

Molly, the heroine, was sugary sweet but too insecure due to her daddy always lets me down issues and previous bad breakup baggage. With a stereotypical fear of abandonment and unhealthy obsession with decisions she made when she was just a kid, I must say for me she came across too narrowed minded for her own good.

Ultimately, we see these destined to be together love birds circle around each other until they decide stealing a kiss or two here and there is to no longer enough. It was sweet to watch them fall for one another. However, one of them stubbornly inwardly keeps thinking it likely won’t last. Fortunately, the other feels resolved to not give up. However, not openly referring to their situation as a relationship was frustrating to witness.

At nearly 40%, I realized the romance was moving along at a snail’s pace since they were still not a couple yet and spending little time together. It wasn’t until almost 70% it finally felt like they were going to be a couple. But by 80% they still weren’t calling it as such and the pace had not picked up. I just couldn’t justify to keep reading from then on, folks. I’m sure everything eventually works out for this very likable couple, but my patience had run out.

Here’s to hoping others really enjoy it. I just thought the story line needed a faster pace and something more significant to happen. Brant would definitely be the main reason I would recommend this book to others. Though clueless at how to take care of a baby, he fell into the role with humor, determination, and tons of love.

Title: Must Love Babies, Series: Must Love Babies (Book 1), Author: Lynnette Austin, Pages: 416, stand-alone but part of a series, slow paced, good guy hero, sweet but annoyingly insecure heroine, not intimate for quite a while, romance safe.

What’s not to love above a single dad well this story gets even better when this confirmed bachelor steps up to take care of his sisters five month old little boy when she is involved in an accident could this be the end of his bachelor lifestyle. Molly Stiles is all about her business it’s what comes first until she sees that Brant needs some help with the baby that’s just arrived in his life. Molly and Brant have a history a meeting at a friends wedding was only meant to be fun neither of them were looking for a relationship but second time around things look very different for both of them. Will baby Jax bring these together forever.......
This is the first book I have read by Lynnette Austin but it won’t be the last, I loved her style of writing, I loved her characters and I just want more.....I can’t wait to read book 2 in this series but in the meantime I certainly will be checking out other books by this very talented author.

The cover and book blurb from Lynette Austin’s MUST LOVE BABIES called out to me, so naturally I had to request it. I just love romantic stories that feature a happy, gurgling baby, and Ms. Austin does an excellent job with baby babble and creating tons of cuteness. This story takes place in the small, southern town of Misty Bottoms and all the characters are quite likable.

Brant Wylder and his two brothers are semi-famous. They restore old cars for a living and their business is featured on local TV from time to time. Brant loves being single and all the freedom that comes with it. His life completely changes when he becomes the temporary guardian of his five-month-old nephew, while his sister recuperates from an accident. Bridal boutique owner Molly Stiles has met Brant a couple times and has always liked him. Molly is a smart woman and puts her business ahead of everything else life has to offer. Due to Brant’s new situation, she becomes a part of his life, and their friendship evolves into much more.

I like a sweet read, however, I found the beginning to be a bit confusing. Many characters were introduced with very little background, and it took me a while to keep it all clear in my mind. With the exception of a few heated kisses, the sexual chemistry between Brant and Molly was barely there, yet their was a ton of potential. This is the first book from Ms. Austin’s new trilogy, MUST LOVE BABIES, and I am looking forward to reading more about the Wydler brothers.

While Must Love Babies is the first book in the Must Love Babies series, it is a spin-off series and that would have been nice to know. I can typically pick up a book in the middle of the series and not feel lost but at least then I know that the characters are probably already known. In this one, you get the sense that you should know these characters but you don't know why.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It's a clean romance with a very adorable baby. The baby and the pets really make this book though. Brandt is left to take care of his nephew when his little sister is in a car crash and has to go to rehab (driving while intoxicating). He has no experience with a baby so that part is a little funny.

Molly has a list of what she wants to do with her life and it is a little over the top. She has it down to the age she is going to get married and have kids. She uses this as a reason for why she can't get involved with Brandt. All of this just felt a little too much and I wanted to rip that list up for her.

There was so much potential for an amazing love story here and it just fell a little flat. I enjoyed it for the most part but it was lacking at times and I felt there was too much time spent establishing why they wouldn't work as a couple and not enough time spent on why they would.

I should have loved this one. Hot guy taking care of a baby. What’s not to love, right? Sadly...lots. There was lots I didn’t love.

First of all, I need to say that there’s nothing at all wrong with the writing. There aren’t a ton of annoying typos, the dialogue all has a nice, natural flow to it, and the characters all are well fleshed out. And I actually liked Brant, the hero, quite a bit. He’s a stand-up guy who always goes above and beyond for his family.

Now, for what didn’t work for me…

Length:
I made it to about 50% of the story. That’s when I started thinking, damn, I’m at 50% of the story and NOTHING has happened yet in the way of romance. It’s just been a hot dude taking care of a baby and occasionally running into a woman he has the hots for. I was bored at this point in the story, and started to consider skimming. But you know what? Life’s too short to spend skimming books that are boring the crap out of me. So I stopped. Then I noticed that this book is 419 pages long. Jesus! 419 pages? That’s way too long. If the chapters about Brant taking care of the baby had been condensed, the book had a shot at keeping my attention, but at 419, I would’ve been really bitter had I stayed in it until the end. I’m SUPER glad I quit at 50%.

The heroine:
She has a list, y’all. If you’re a regular romance reader (or watcher of Hallmark and Lifetime Channel holiday romances), you know what I’m talking about. Molly, the heroine, has a list of things she wants to accomplish in her lifetime, and a timeframe that she wants to follow for each accomplishment. So, her list says that she shouldn’t be in a serious relationship until she’s 30, and darn it, she’s only 27, so OBVIOUSLY, she can’t get involved with Brant, because it’s just not time yet. (*rolls eyes so hard I have a headache that lasts two hours*) I’m sorry, but that is without a doubt, one of the DUMBEST reasons not to get involved with someone that I’ve ever heard, and I have no patience for that kind of jackassery.

And what’s worse is that Molly doesn’t even stick to her guns. She keeps flirting with Brant, and offering to help him take care of the baby, and cooking dinner for him. THEN she ends up pushing him away because of her stupid list (and past daddy issues, which is yet another annoying trope that I’d be happy to never run into again).

By the time I quit reading, I kind of wanted Molly to get hit by a bus so that the hero might have the opportunity to meet a GOOD heroine.

Hart of Dixie:
Did you guys watch Hart of Dixie? I’m not saying the author copied anything from the show because the plot lines were nothing alike, but I got a VERY Hart of Dixie feeling about the little town the story was set in. There were characters named Tansy and Cricket (just like in HoD), a wedding venue called Magnolia House (there was a character on HoD named Magnolia), someone called Jenni Beth (which reminded me of Anna Beth, another HoD character), and lots of little quirky small town side characters, just like HoD. And Brant reminded me a lot of Wade Kinsella from the show. Maybe that was just me, though...

Brant’s family sucks:
I feel like Brant’s family totally took advantage of him and left him in the lurch to care for his sister and Jax, the baby. Not ONE of them could show up to help him in any way? And they all just expected him to do it. He did everything without complaining because that’s the kind of guy he was, but the fact that his family so quickly threw him to the wolves, by himself, irked me.

So, long-story-short, I’ve certainly read worse books than this, but I guess I was just expecting more from a book with a hot guy and a baby on the cover. What’s the world coming to that I can’t trust a book with a hot guy and a baby on the cover?

Full disclosure: I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Must love babies is the first title in the Must Love Babies series, and also my first time reading anything written by this author. Whilst I enjoyed this title it didn't feel like the start of a series and I think I would have gotten lot more from it, if I had read the Magnolia Brides series. I even stopped reading at one point to check this was the first title in the series, as so many characters were referenced with backstories I had no knowledge of.

Overall Must Love Babies is a sweet, small town romance with strong themes of family, loyalty, trust and love.

Brant is a family man, and drops everything to care for his young nephew, despite his lack of knowledge or experience with babies. I enjoyed watching this macho alpha bumble his way through caring for young Jax, even finding myself giggling at his expense.

Molly the heroine of this tale was another story, I really struggled to connect with her. She's fiercely independent and driven to make her business a success, which I found admirable and endearing, but then I found her a bit wishy washy and her daddy issues he reluctance to let anyone in annoyed me.

The pace for the first half of this title is quite slow to the point I struggled to keep going, but I'm glad I did because the second half not only the pace but the plot became much more enjoyable and engaging.

I'm unsure if I will read future titles in the series, but Brant's brothers did capture my attention. Overall I would have liked a little more heat and steam to make the connection this pair share more believable.

Magnolia Brides series continues thanks to fan favorite author Lynnette Austin who magically brings Misty Bottoms to life in this series about weddings and so much more. Sure there is always a wedding at the center of the storyline – what else would you expect. But don’t shortchange this amazing series. Magnolia Brides is like a never ending smorgasbord of happiness and love.
It was if Molly had a target on her back and Brant couldn’t help keeping his eyes off it. Brant still getting used to Misty Bottoms Georgia that was a decidedly small perhaps even quaint town. But Misty Bottoms is the home of a growing industry centered on weddings and such. The Magnolia House had been redone into the ever-growing popular wedding site Magnolia Brides. Several friends now owned businesses or shops that were dedicated to helping the potential bride and groom suited for their special day. Flowers, cakes and boutique all lined up along Main Street.
And here was Brant at a wedding watching another bachelor bite the wedding bullet. Nope not for him, but he still couldn’t manage to control where his eyes were searching. And that was for Molly. Brant definitely has all the right moves and even though attracted to Molly he was rather confident that this would go nowhere. He was not looking for a relationship.
Another case of best laid plans. Brant and his brothers were working on their joint business venture restoring classic cars. But Wylder Rides might have to take a back seat. Gavin, Brant and Tucker’s lives were about to take an abrupt hit. With their sister’s car accident someone was going to have to take on the responsibility of their seven month old nephew Jax. Molly wasn’t doing much better with her check list of things to accomplish before contemplating a relationship.
Lynnette Austin immediately sets out to have the reader enamored with both Brant and baby Jax. So easy to fall for a man that graciously takes care of a squirming, oft times wet and crying little boy. Brant has a way with women – he could only hope that his winning ways will work with Molly.
Brant has a lot on his plate. Taking care of Jax. Making sure that Lainie is okay after the accident. Then working on how they will handle the issue of Lainie’s DUI. Brant as it turns out is the go to guy for all family problems. Probably since he is so very good at taking care. Molly sees that right away and adds another check mark on this fabulous guy.
Good looking, caring, great company and solid as a rock. What more could you ask for. But that’s one of the problems. Molly isn’t really looking – her list hasn’t been completed yet. Spending time with both Brant and Jax just may be the incentive for forgetting that darn list and listen to her heart.
I’ve been a fan of Lynnette Austin for quite a while. Her stories make you smile and find a place in your heart. Lynnette Austin’s characters are dreamy and yet real. Conversations are witty and appropriate for the action. MUST LOVE BABIES is a perfect example of that. In MUST LOVE BABIES Lynnette Austin treats us to great conversations and witty repertoire of some amazing characters fated to become friends of the reader. It’s an innate talent and Lynnette Austin illustrates that with every story she pens.

Molly and Brant meet at a mutual friend's wedding and sparks fly instantly, but Molly isn't interested in dating or relationships. She has an ironclad plan to not settle down until she turns 30, after she's made a success of her shop and is financially independent. But she didn't plan on Brant Wylder, a man who teases and flirts, who encourages and supports. Pretty much the ultimate temptation.

But like the saying goes, even the best laid plans can go astray and Brant definitely leads Molly astray. In town to scope out a possible relocation for their Wylder Rides body shop, Brant only planned a short stay but when his sister suffers an accident and he is left with his seven month old nephew, Brant doesn't hesitate to what needs to be done for his family. Molly and the rest of the town support and encourage him every step of the way and the journey was heartfelt and full of love.

This was sweet romantic love story with great MCs, strong family ties and promising secondary characters. It was about taking chances, lasting friendships and accepting that life's changes can't always be predicted or planned.

I loved Brant but Brant with baby Jax! Yeah, a man with a baby is too freaking perfect. I loved reading about Brant taking on the responsibility his nephew, all the while knowing zilch about taking care of a seven month old baby. Watching Brant take on the challenge and falling hopelessly in love with Jax was adorable and endearing as hell.

I loved the small town feel in this story too. I loved that every one came out to helped Brant, even if it was just to offer advice or donate some hand-me-downs. It was refreshing to see the author take this route and not the cliched one where the heroine swoops in to save the day and play house with the Hero. Molly and Brant's relationship springs from their mutual attraction and their friendship. Baby Jax is a cute bonus but not the catalyst that brings these two together.

This is part of a series (other couples are mentioned throughout) but I'm more interested in the other two Wylder brothers. Mainly, Tucker - there's just something about the brooding, keeps to himself, professed bachelor (who isn't a player!) that gets me every time.

I loved this read and would definitely recommend! This is 100% safe. The few smexy times are fade to black. (I still loved this read, even without the bedroom scenes!)

Somehow weddings seem to be a great place to meet your future spouse. Maybe it's because there is so much love in the air. Maybe it's just because there always seems to be lots of guests around the same age. In any event something special happened when bachelor Brant Wylder met bridal boutique owner Molly Styles at the wedding of their friends. A dance in the moonlight at Magnolia House, the unique wedding venue in Misty Bottoms, Georgia. So romantic - until Brant's phone rings and he rushes off.

Brant Wylder is a confirmed bachelor. He and his two brothers Tucker and Gaven have a vintage car repair business, Wylder Rides. That takes up all Brant's spare time. Right now the brothers are looking for a property in Misty Bottoms to expand their business. For Brant that gets put on hold when he takes on the care of his five-month-old nephew Jax when Jax's mother is injured in an automobile accident. What a wake-up call! Brant knows nothing about taking care of a baby. Good thing Molly is willing to help.

Molly Styles just recently opened That Little White Dress Shop in Misty Bottoms. The shop is her dream come true. She has no time for men or a relationship. Her business comes first. Plus she made a plan when she was thirteen and so far she has faithfully stuck to it - all the way up to line 8; "Age 27 - Open my own business." Here she is age 27 and she has her own bridal boutique just like she planned. Line 9 on her To-Do List tells her that from age 28-30 she must pour her soul into her business - thus really no time for a relationship. Sometimes the best laid plans go awry though. The attraction between Molly and Brant is strong. Who can resist?

Author Lynnette Austin does small town romance so well you can't stop turning the pages until you get to that HEA. Once you get there you find yourself smiling widely and feeling awful darn good! I can't wait to see what Lynnette Austin has in store for Brant's two brothers, Tucker and Gaven.

Right off the bat I’m going to say that that if you have read Ms. Austin’s Magnolia Brides series then you’ll feel right at home with Must Love Babies. If you haven’t done that already then there are some characters and relationships that might seem a bit confusing to you… but simply consider them as secondary characters and you’ll be just fine. If you’ve read my reviews before then you know I’m a huge advocate of starting a series from the beginning – yet, I don’t think you need to read the parent series to enjoy Must Love Babies, but it’s a good series with enjoyable stories so I’d recommend it.

I adored Brant and want to steal him for my own. He’s the family fixer, the one everyone seems to go to to solve problems even though he isn’t the eldest. That fact is proven when he is called away from a wedding, and an interesting connection with Molly, to rescue his nephew from the threat of foster care. His sister was in an accident, thankfully Jax wasn’t with her, but since she’s fallen off the wagon and heading back into rehab someone in the family needs to take care of her baby. And Brant is it, even though he is a confirmed bachelor with no knowledge of babies whatsoever.

Molly got a different reaction from me, even though I personally know a few people like her with their lists and life plans that nothing in this world or beyond can budge. Yes, Molly was building her business, and yes, she’d had a crappy father – but those are things that can be set aside when love comes your way and worked into the new equation. I realize that for the story Molly had to be a stubborn, stick to the plan woman… but I didn’t warm up to her and in reality I was a pure Brant/Jax team member so Molly was a besides the point, she has to come along for the ride character.

Overall, I enjoyed Must Love Babies, will definitely be on the lookout for the next story in this series. In the end, Brant and Molly are right for each other because quite simply Brant loved her just as she is. And that alone is enough reason to love this story because that is one trait that most women look for to be loved exactly as they are without having to change a thing. So, yeah, I enjoyed Brant and Molly’s story – but I was totally in love with Brant.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

Must of Babies isn't your typical single dad so that I was hoping for. While this twist is ok I just wasn't what I expected.

Brandt drops everything to be there for his sister and family. It was evident that he waste glue that held his family together. I think the real story is the relationship between him and his nephew He was bound and determined to make be a successful parent in the small amount of time. It was so sweet watching him go from an experienced care giver to one that could handle anything little Jax threw his way. It's amazing how one little person can turn your world upside down.

The best laid plans are meant to be broken. Molly has had her list since she was a young girl and was hard pressed to deviate from it. She was sweet although I found her to be a bit of a broken record at times. She was a little to wishy washy for me

I was hoping for more of a love story between them but it fell a little short for me. I didn't feel a love connection between them.

I tried to get into the story but I couldn’t continue reading it. Even if it’s not for me, it doesn’t mean it can’t be for someone else.

This is the first book in the series titled Must Love Babies. From what I gather , it’s a spin off from a previous series by this author. I am new to her, so even though at times I felt I had missed some info from those books, I had no problems following the plot.
If you are looking for an action, suspense, full of sex story, this one is not for you. But , if you are looking for a sweet, touching, fairly mild sex, and romance, with a Southern town flavor, then this one is perfect.
The story belongs to Brant Wylder and Molly Stiles. Brant is in Misty Bottoms for a wedding. He and Molly had seen each other before at another wedding and when they meet again at this one, the attraction is obvious. But Brant receives a call and suddenly the confirmed bachelor, is in charge of his seven months nephew.
It’s touching to see this macho guy, over his head with the baby, but also very sweet.
While all this is going on, we get to meet his brothers, all hunky guys with a strong brotherly bond.
It’s a story about trust, or lack thereof, of goals in life that need to be adjusted. It’s also a story about how families can either be loving and supportive or secretive. How childhood experiences do in fact affect us as adults. But it’s also a story about hope and love.
For me it was a good 3.5 book but knowing the hard work that goes into writing, I am giving it a 4 star . I voluntarily read this copy for Netgalley. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Will Love Conquer All?

He’s a nice guy, she’s afraid of love. Can they find a way to make each other happy? In the fourth Magnolia Brides book we fallow the owner of the Wedding dress shop Molly Stiles who believes in love for everyone but herself.

Brant Wylder has had the pleasure of seeing Molly at two weddings they were in he is a groomsmen and she a bridesmaid and she definitely has his attention.

So what happens when Brants world is thrown into chaos when he ends up with his seven month old nephew for several months.

Authors Blurb: This baby's not the only one in need of a cuddle...

Brant Wylder is a bachelor and loving it! He's in Misty Bottoms, Georgia, property-hunting for his vintage car repair shop when he gets the call. His sister's been in an accident, and Brant has to drop everything and take care of his seven-month-old nephew. That's the end of the bachelor lifestyle.

Bridal boutique owner Molly Stiles is all business all the time, until she sees that Brant's in trouble. In this Southern town, nobody ever has to go it alone. And besides, how can she resist that beautiful baby in the arms of a beautiful man...?

This was a first read for me by Lynnette Austin. Although there are three previous books in the series I started on Must Love Babies. Definitely a read that can stand on its own. However I plan to read the previous books because I’d like to read the love stories.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

My rating 4.5 Stars

Brant Wylder is quite successful in his business of restoring vintage cars with his brothers. His life is interrupted, when their sister Lainey is badly injured in a car accident. As his mother has recently had a stroke, Brent is number two on the emergency contact list to care for seven-month-old Jax. Brant may not know a thing about caring for such a young baby, but one look in his eyes and Brant knows that he would do just about anything for the beautiful little boy, including caring for him full-time while Lainey heals.

Molly Stiles really liked Brant when she met him at a wedding. They seemed to hit it off, but he had to rush off when his sister was hurt. Running into Brant at her local grocery store should be a very good thing for Molly. However, she has a life plan, and despite her attraction to Brant, he does not fit into her tightly constructed future. Despite her misgivings, she realizes that Brant needs help with Jax. She can't say no to the handsome hunk, even though the possibility of spending copious amounts of time with Brant just might weaken her resolve.

I found this to be a sweet story on many levels. Quite naturally, any story with a big man tenderly loving a little baby is quite affecting. I also enjoyed the repertoire between Molly and Brant, especially while Brant works effectively to saw through Molly's life plans. Also, Brant is a true family man, down to the bone, and his relationship with his nephew, brothers and sister makes for a great character. Molly was relatively easy to understand and to like. Her past molded her into the person she has become, and watching her warm up to Brant was quite enjoyable. One other factor I enjoyed about this book is how gently Lainey's problems were handled. Without offering spoilers, this was not rushed, and I found that to be quite refreshing.

Although this is the first book I've read by Lynette Austin, I had a sense of familiarity with several characters. It was easy to see that many of them are mentioned in this author's previous series, The Magnolia Bides. This is book one in the Must Love Babies series. I look forward to the next two books, no doubt they will be about Brant's brothers Tucker and Gaven.

Many thanks to SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca and to NetGalley for this ARC to review.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

This is a spin-off from the Magnolia Bride Series, you do not need to read that series to understand what is happening (I didn’t read the prior series and I was able to follow along).

The synopsis of this book sounded amazing but the book fell a little flat for me. I would have given the book 5 stars based on Brant alone because he was totally swoon-worthy. There were just too many issues that made it hard to truly enjoy the book.

For one thing, Molly was totally annoying and frustrating, the girl couldn’t make up her mind about Brant from the beginning all the way to end. She said she didn’t want to get involved with him because she had a list to follow for her life but that didn’t stop her from basically toiling with Brant’s feelings. He kept putting himself out there by taking her out on dates, taking an interest in her life, trying to get to know her, telling her he really wanted a relationship with her and she would take it all and soak it up then become shocked when he wanted more from her. This happens throughout the entire book repeatedly and truly does not stop until the last chapter.

Brant’s family basically used him and didn’t really offer to help him out. Brant is suddenly in charge of a baby and scouting locations for the family business and yet no one comes to help him out. His brothers do visit twice but the rest of the time Brant is completely on his own with Jax. It also must be stated that Brant is not the oldest child and yet he seems to be the problem solver for the entire family.

Also I’m not really sure how they met it seemed like Brant remembered Molly from a previous wedding and decided he needed to know her during the current wedding. One minute they are sharing a little kiss at the wedding, next thing you know Brant is called away from emergency then after that he is basically telling Molly his whole life story.

The Jax and Brant moments were truly super cute as well as endearing and I loved them all. I would have liked to know more about the condition of Lug Nut.

In the end this book was a tad bit too long and repetitive with certain situations. I did end up skimming pages just to move the story along. There is no major conflict or danger the couple must overcome only Molly’s complete indecisiveness about her feelings. Also I must say there are no steamy moments only lightly mentioned lovemaking parts so it’s a solid clean romance.

I’m sure there will be more books following the other Wylder siblings: Tuck, Gaven and Lainey.

Good book and I enjoyed reading it the story flowed well and I loved the characters I will recommend this book for others to read

Started out stung and then I felt like it fell into all the same traps a lot of small town romances fall into...a little too much sweetness and not enough conflict. I don’t like a ton of angst but this one just didn’t do it for me. A new trilogy that feeds off the authors previous trilogy. Was a bit lost at the beginning. Not horrible - just not for me.

Must Love Babies by Lynnette Austin was a good story. I especially loved the cover and how the main male character Brant and his 5 month old nephew adjust together. I thought the story was well written and a lovely change of pace. It was hard to put it down and I read it quickly. The main female character Molly was a bit annoying at times but in the end it worked out for them.

4 Star review of Must Love Babies (Must Love Babies #1) by Lynette Austin

This was a new to me author and since I really loved the premise and as it was book one in a new series I jumped right in.

I do feel it might have led to a better understanding of this book if I had read her Magnolia Brides series first as there are numerous references to the three ladies from that series and so I felt lost on occasion.

When Brant Wylder’s sister is involved in an accident, he has to step in and look after his 5 month old nephew.

Having no clue, he is soon out of his element, when Molly Stiles steps in to help him.

This was a sweet romance which at times was an emotional roller coaster. The interaction between Brant and baby Jax melted my heart.

I really liked Brant but to be honest Molly annoyed me. Although she is independent she didn’t seem to be able to decide what or who she wants.

I received an ARC from the publisher through Netgalley
