I received a complimentary arc from Netgallery for review.

I LOVED this book. It is part of a series but easily stands alone. It also deals with male bullying and I really loved the story. I also features a love/hate romance between Sabrina and a new character, Crosby.

Sabrina was a wonderful character, she is strong has great friends and has a happy life with some great friends. She had a thing for Trace but now he is with Marin so she is now very single and enjoying college life.

One night she finds a naked hot guy tied to a tree and when he acts a jerk she leaves him there for the cops to find. Crosby is a former rich kid whose parents are now in jail and who the world hates. And especially his school football team. But he plans to go pro so he doesn't care.

Enter Sabrina who while the two have a love -hate thing, she also has his back and has no idea who he is. I loved their friendship and how she is there for him. I hated how he is bullyied but I loved how he deals with it and when Sabrina saves him wellI loved it.

Crosby’s life fell apart and he slowly began to pick up the pieces. After making a promise to his mother, he continued with college before working his way to make his way to becoming a pro hockey player. Or everything goes well as he tries to find his way but one person tests him like no other. Meeting Sabrina, he feels his world slowly begin to make sense again. She will be the one who tests his every limit and provide him with the stable future he needs. Loved reading this story and how strength and determination can help you overcome any obstacles.

J. Nathan scores with FOR CROSBY, the third book in the For You series. Up-and-coming college hockey star, Crosby Parks, transfers to Alabama in hopes of escaping the media debacle his family left behind. He wants to keep a low profile before entering the NHL draft. Unfortunately, that is easier than it sounds, since his new team decides to tie him naked to a tree on his first day. Enter Sabrina Marshall, who finds him and keeps crossing his path. This contemporary sports romance in suitable for new adult and adult audiences.

J. Nathan does a nice job with both her plot and character development. The story is original and believable. I like that Crosby and Sabrina initially do not get along. I also, appreciated that Sabrina decides what major to declare, as a result, of all the things that happen with them. I felt bad for everything that Crosby went through. Some of the things that happened with his team were cruel. I’m glad Sabrina showed compassion and befriended Crosby. The two have amazing chemistry and fun conversations.

FOR CROSBY is a great example about not judging people because you have no idea what is going on with them. There are interesting twists to the story. It flowed well and held my attention from start to finish.

I have not read the other books in the For You series. I had no problem following this book without reading the other stories. The main characters from those books are friends with Sabrina, so they make numerous appearances in this story. I liked the characters and wouldn’t mind reading their novels: FOR FINLAY (For You, #1) and FOR FORESTER (For You, #2). People that enjoy reading new adult sports romances would enjoy FOR CROSBY. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I got this book from Netgalley, I read the first two books in the series, and I was thrilled when I realized that I am about to read the third one.

Crosby Parks used to have a perfect, wealthy life. He has the car, the women and his pro-hockey career is almost within reach. Until, he realized that his perfect life wasn’t THAT perfect and he was sent to Alabama to escape everything. If he still wanted to play professional hockey, he must keep a low-profile and graduate from college. But it wasn’t that easy.

Because he got tied down to a tree. Naked.

Sabrina just decided to focus on herself from now on. But then she stumbles into a naked hockey player tied to a tree in the middle of the night that would completely change her life. Yes, she left him tied into the tree, and when he finally got free - things just got heated.

I love reading their banters, it was fun, like foreplay between the two of them. I was wondering who will succumb to who first. She didn’t really understand why he’s okay now, and an a** the next time. But when she finally got to know him, she understood where he’s coming from and she gave him a chance.

All was well, until something threatened not just his quiet life, but Sabrina’s as well. There was no way she was going down with him. So he did the stupidest thing he could do, and let her go. Arghh. I just hated him for quite sometime. Why so weak, Crosby? Why aren’t you fighting back?

Good thing Sabrina wasn’t going down easily. Yes, she was pissed. Yes, she was hurt. But she was going to get into the bottom of this. Don’t you just love a strong heroine?

I love the women characters strong, fierce and determined. Women who is not afraid to speak their mind and fight for what they want. J Nathan just introduced me to Sabrina, and she’s one heck of a woman!

It’s a good thing he finally got his brains off his a** and apologize in a wild, grand gesture.

I instantly fell in love with the characters in it. They were just amazing - strong woman and one determined man who finally decided to man up rather than shut up. I loved this book - it gave me all the feels.

That cover... I had to read the book. I mean, just look at it!

Right from the opening scene, I was prepared to hate Sabrina. For the first dozen or so pages I did. You don't leave someone tied to a tree; you don't, that's horrible. To be honest, while I might have been able to get past it, I'm not sure I was able to forgive her. It's all right though, we all do stupid things in university.

Now lets talk about Crosby. I fell in love with him the first chapter we get from his perspective. He is a prime example of someone who has way too many secrets and no one he can trust. Like any love story, the part where the person who doesn't know how to trust, takes a chance and trusts someone is powerful.

Crosby and Sabrina made such a cute couple. From when they knew each other only as the Ice Queen and Mr. Hockey to the point where they peeled back the protective layers and got to know each other well.

For such a short book it wasn't lacking in anything, there was chemistry, drama, enemies, secrets and more twists than I knew what to do with.

This book was short, I read it in one sitting over a couple hours. One thing I appreciate was the way every sentence in this book was important. It wasn't full of repetitive filler and I didn't have to skim past the boring parts.

Overall, For Crosby was a super engaging book. Once I started reading, I didn't put it down until I was finished and even then; I found myself wishing for more. It was a super sweet read that left me with a goofy grin and reminiscing about my university days. I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a quick feel good book.

Crosby is such a flirt, "a crooked smile pulled his lips up on one side. “Oh, there’re a lot of things I want. But here, I think dancing would be the only acceptable option.” Crosby is an honest guy, "he shook his head, his nose running along my jawline. “I may be horny, but you still feel right in my arms. I’m wondering how you’d feel beneath me.” Crosby better watch himself his girl ain't afraid to knock him down a peg or two, “it’s makes me happier,” Crosby said. “The girl can’t get enough of me.” I shoved him so hard, I practically knocked him off his stool." I really liked this book, I loved Crosby.
