This is a book about discovering a family secret of a contentious and possibly life altering nature. It looks at how war can change someone and their entire life view and perspective in a way that causes them to take actions which could change or end their life.

Great historical fiction title. A coming of age tale set at the time of Easter rising and the horrors of world war one. Thoroughly enjoyed this. A real five star read!

This is a good book that I would recommend to historical fiction fans and others. I give this novel four stars. Go get a copy!
