I got through this book really quickly. The story was good, but the ending was kind of blah for me. Would recommend to someone who wants a quick read.

I couldn't finish this one. I tried to enjoy it, really I did. Having not read the first book, I just couldn't keep up with everyone. Too many characters that I wasnt familiar with.

The authors wrote this book from both perspectives of the two characters, so I felt invested in both. This story is unique in that the reader gets to experience the exact same situations from both perspectives and see how the different personalities of each woman alters their perception. I did not read the first book in this series, but was able to follow the story with no problem.

Thank you to netgalley for the opportunity to read and review the novel.

Teri has lost her job, her husband who cheated on her with her best friend, to me that is something that’s unforgivable.

I did find this book hard to follow because of all the different characters.

I would recommend this as a read.

I tried really hard to like this book. It started out really well and I was excited to see what would happen, but near the middle I started losing interest. I forced myself to finish it as I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I think this book just was not for me. I usually love chick lit but this one had so many cringe worthy scenes I couldn’t get passed (sleeping with married men, a married man cheating on his wife who was due with twins, etc.). One of the main characters seemed to have no morals. She showed some growth by the end of the novel but no where near what I thought she would. I felt like the other main character had absolutely no chemistry with her boyfriend because all she seemed to do was complain about everything he did. The ending was quite abrupt too and seemed too open ended for the book.

Did not finish this one at 20%. Too many characters to keep track of so I gave up. I did not read the first book so maybe that's why I was confused. This book was given to me free of charge by the publisher and NetGalley in return for an honest review.

Things are not going well for Terri. She lost both her job at the university as well as the allowance from her dad's factory. To make matters even worse her best friend has taken her ex-husband. She decides to go away to countryside. There she meets hot neighbour.
Things are not so great for Lee either. Things are not lovey dovey anymore and she is wondering if she has just possibly made a mistake.
Interesting and light read, which I must admit, I found bit confusing at the beginning with all the characters just thrown in. I am glad that I have stuck with it as it turned out to be quite a nice story about love, friendship, new chances and new beginnings.

This is an evolution of friends, family and commitment to love and relationshops. I found it well written; however, as a woman I could never forgive a friend who starts a relationship with an ex husband of mine. It was a very good read and I would seek alternative books by this author.
