This book had me laughing off and on throughout from Sierra observing her exboyfriend's "saggy butt" to Paige having a dance party and on. The characters were believable and I've a feeling there was a book before with Jase and Emily but this stood well on its own merits. There's humour, heartbreak, new beginnings and so much more in this book that I'm not sure where to begin to explain the book and why I so enjoyed reading it without risking spoiling it.

If you like a vulnerable but strong heroine, family secrets, a sexy sheriff and boss that make you feel, this book needs to be in your life.

After Sienna finds out that her fiancée has been cheating on her she decides it is time to re-evaluate her life and go back to the town that she left 20 years ago and never thought she would ever return to. When her parents separated she left with her mother and her father and brother remained behind and they haven’t seen each other since.

Cole is the Sheriff and when he pulls over Sienna’s car for an infraction he is surprised to find out that she is his best friend’s sister. He is happy to have finally found a place to call home and isn’t about to let this city girl upset his friend or his town.

As they spend time together he believes that they have nothing in common, but he soon realizes that their pasts with their family bring them closer than he could have imagined. Will these two opposites find out that they are similar in the only way that matters?

This is a heartwarming story about family, love and new beginnings. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

An enchanting and enjoyable contemporary romance about finding yourself, taking chances and leaps of faith, Coming Home to Crimson is a spellbinding tale readers will devour in a single sitting!

Crimson, Colorado might be a picture perfect town, but for Sienna Pierce this idyllic corner of paradise is not a place she can ever consider home. Full of heart-wrenching memories and old ghosts, Sienna had left Crimson twenty years ago as a child with her mother, having left her father and brother behind, and instead had blossomed from a small town girl into an urban socialite who drinks champagne, wears designer clothes and attends one high society party after the other. Her mother and stepfather have already mapped out her life for her: she will marry Kevin, her fiance, and ensure that the family business continues to thrive and flourish. Sienna’s life might look perfect to outsiders, but she has never quite managed to shake off this feeling that she does not belong anywhere – and that Kevin is not the man for her. When she finds him in bed with another woman, Sienna finds herself alone and with nowhere to go. Absolutely positive that her mother would tell her to stop making such a fuss and to sweep Kevin’s betrayal under the carpet, Sienna finds herself going to the one place she had sworn never to return to: Crimson, Colorado!

Having ‘borrowed’ Kevin’s rental car, Sienna just wants to get to Crimson and try and reconnect with her father and brother, so the last thing she is expecting is to be stopped by Sheriff Cole Bennett for speeding! Sienna is already having a bad day and ending up arrested would be the cherry on the cake! But even more disturbing than ending up in jail, is the flicker of attraction which she feels toward Cole Bennett, a man with plenty of secrets and painful memories of his own.

A man who is dedicated to his job, Cole had come to Crimson after a lifetime spent being pushed from pillar to post as an army brat. Having grown up all over the world, Cole had come to Crimson and for the first time in his life had felt like he had finally found a place he could belong. When Sienna Pierce rolls into town with her designer clothes, expensive sports car and big city attitude, Cole is flabbergasted that he finds himself drawn to her – and that he cannot stop himself from kissing her even though the two are polar opposites. But could the magic of Crimson bring them together and propel them straight down the aisle? Or are the two of them just too different to even dare contemplate a future together?

Will Cole and Sienna find the strength to admit the truth about their feelings for one another? Or is their fledgling romance doomed to fail?

After finding her boyfriend in bed with someone else Sienna jetted to crimson where her estranged father and brother are at knowing her mother just wouldn't understand. On top of an already crappy day she ends up getting pulled over by Cole Bennett the town sheriff who seems to know her brother. While shes in town she tries to figure out what why things went the way it did and why her father hasn't tried to contact her. It seems though the longer shes in town Cole seems to be a constant presence while there and they can't help but fall for one another.

This was a pretty good book. I enjoyed it. But I will say being that I got an ARC of this book I didn't see the cover because if I has I probably wouldn't had picked up this book. It looks pretty cheesy if you ask me. Other then that it was interesting getting to see the family drama unfold. When all is said and done the truth comes out and it was interesting seeing how everything got resolved. I loved seeing the romance between Cole and Siennas relationship it was sweet. Overall this book was a pretty enjoyable read.

A beautiful, emotional, heartening story about family, expectations and finding your own place in life, but mostly, about falling in love in a small town setting.
I enjoyed this story immensely. There was something very special and authentic about the characters and their destinies. I loved that the secondary characters were so well built and had such an important and profound place in the story. And the leading characters, they just won my heart over from the very first scene.
Both Sienna Pierce and Crimson sheriff Cole Bennett were characters that were easy to connect with. They are strong, resilient, and smart, as well as loving, caring, and considerate people. And they are broken, hurt, and wounded by their families, and need healing to overcome the pain from the past.
Cole and Sienna set the pages sizzling, they have an obvious bond between them, there's a kinship of their souls and a tie that pulls them together. From the very first, they learn to lean on each other, they support the other, while battling the strong attraction towards each other.
Even though it is evident that there's a lot of water run under the bridge in Crimson, there are events in the past books that are relevant to the present, but this story was easy to read as a stand-alone novel, and the fact that I have not read the previous stories, was not an issue.
With lots of family drama, added to the small-town living, everyone knowing your business, and voicing their opinions, there is a good mix of humor, laughter, tears, and pain in the tale. Cole hides his pain, while Sienna's family troubles are for everyone to see and know. But there is a strong message of forgiveness, of learning to face your troubles and finding the way to communicate your hurt and heartbreak, finding the atonement, and getting the redemption.
The story took me by a positive surprise on many occasion with its strong voice and deep emotions. It is filled with heat, humor, and hurt, mixed with adoration and growing pains, on top of the swoon-worthy romance. An absolutely delightful romance story mixed thought-provoking family drama.

A drama filled meeting leads to love in our latest Crimson, Colorado visit! It's always a pleasure to return to this small town paradise and see what the future holds for another couple. This time, we're getting Sienna's story when she returns home to confront her abandonment issues with her brother Jase and dad Declan. We already know the family in general, but getting to know Sienna and her version of the story brings it all full circle. The characters are well developed and the setting rich in drama, love and happily ever afters!

Sheriff Cole Bennett is shocked to discover the woman that he just pulled over is none other than his friend Jase's elusive long-lost sister. The town is protective of Jase and all that he's been through with Declan and his past family drama, so he wants to make sure he's not blindsided by her arrival. As he gets to know her, he realizes there was more to this story than anyone ever realized.

Sienna Pierce left Crimson 20 years ago with her mother and never returned. Now as she finds herself fleeing a cheating ex, her heart takes her back to that town she never thought she'd return to. She'd love to face her past and get some answers once and for all ... but she can't decide if she has the guts to face the conclusions she came to long ago!

Having read very similar plots lately, I didn't expect to like this one but surprisingly I did! While the theme has been used so many times and is slightly a cliche these days, what saved it was that it had interesting and likable characters.

I really liked this book. Sienna was an awesome character. Cole was interesting too but not as great as Sienna. I kind of hated Emily and Jase, especially when they first interact with Sienna. They were such a-holes and then had the audacity to tell Sienna to accept some kindness from them. I was shouting at the book that she didn't owe them a damn thing. All in all a really cute story.
