There are a lot of tropes mixing in this book – an office romance combined with friends-to-lovers, while throwing in plenty of forbidden romance and even a hint of best-friend’s sister (although not quite, because Madeline is only like a sister to Elliot’s best friend), which all come together to make a surprisingly slow burn romance that has plenty of lustful looks and thoughts and much dithering and vowing to forget for the good of both their jobs. It makes for a fairly good read, if not my favourite from this author.

I liked Madeline. She’s smart and competent and determined to pick herself up and get on with her life after freeing herself from her douche of an ex. She doesn’t have much experience – in the work place or relationships – but once she gets started it was great to see her confidence blossom. Her dating disasters were pretty funny and I loved when she spent time with her friends.

Elliot… hm. It isn’t that I didn’t like Elliot, but I never felt like I got to know him all that well either. The man is focused on his career and a little more carefree in his (rare) free time. In fact you could say he gets about a bit. He’s never noticed Madeline much until she comes to work for him, but there is a hint that he did this deliberately because she was attached for most of the time he’s known her. But, I don’t know, I just didn’t get much of a feel for him. He clearly has issues with his family, but his family didn’t seem that awful. He’s just a bit of a pouter, who gets jealous over Madeline very easily and has a tendency to rate himself and his needs higher than hers. He’s not a bad person, but he is shallow and self-absorbed and won’t go down as a fave for me.

Their relationship is slow to build, because of their jobs, but there’s plenty of heat when they get started. Even though the back and forth, will-they-won’t-they, oh-no-we-mustn’t-or-we’ll-get-fired got a bit tiresome after a while. They are good together and make a good team, but mostly because Madeline is excellent at supporting Elliot. It would have been nice to have seen things go a little more the other way, or have Elliot acknowledge things about Madeline that weren’t physical, sexual or how great an assistant she was. And although there were aspects I liked about the ending, I still felt disappointed it all kind of went Elliot’s way.

So it’s okay. Bielman’s writing is as entertaining as always and there are plenty of characters that I liked. It’s just a shame Elliot wasn’t really one of them. Maybe it’s the first person perspective, but this series sadly isn’t quite hitting the mark for me.

Since the first book in the series I have been hoping we would get one with Madison. I am so glad she and Elliott are the main characters in Too Hard to Resist.

Madison is really finding herself after breaking up with her cheating fiance at their wedding. She's trying to get a long term job and is dipping her toes back into the dating pool. It's at one of her temp work assignments that she runs into Elliott, who happens to be her new boss.

Even though inter-office dating and hooking up are not allowed, it isn't long before their mutual attraction makes it hard to resist each other.

One of my favorite things about this book is that Madison is smart, capable, and really wants to get back out there after being hurt. I really enjoyed the chapters she narrated and that Elliott appreciates those qualities about her as well.

Sometimes in series, especially those centered around a core group of characters, I find they can be a bit repetitive. Robin Bielman did a wonderful job making each couple and the difficulties they face unique. I hope there's more to come from this series!

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Too Hard to Resist is an enjoyable forbidden workplace romance! Beyond the boss-and-assistant element that would make any relationship questionable at best, ZipMeds actually has a policy against dating within the office. But there's a spark between Elliot and Madison that's hard to ignore, as hard as they try--and they do actually try. I appreciated the restraint they exercise rather than just saying "we shouldn't do this" over and over again while doing it anyway.

Too Hard to Resist is my first book in the Wherever You Go series as well as my first book by Robin Beilman. The book is definitely a standalone, but I do think there would be some extra world-building benefits to reading the other books in the series, too. There's a rich set of secondary characters (and some fun secondary plotlines, too) and I'd definitely like to read more within the series to get to know those characters better.

Both Elliot and Madison were quality narrators, but sometimes their internal monologues got a bit awkward. That said, I can't really fault that, because I think everyone's internal monologue goes off the rails sometimes. Bottom line: I enjoyed Too Hard to Resist and recommend it as a fun read with plenty of developed characters.

Friends to lovers is one of my favorite types of stories. I love how the foundation is already there before jumping into a relationship. Add to that that Madison and Elliot are avoiding a forbidden, workplace romance... um, yes please!!

Madison needs a job so she can move out on her own. Elliot loves his job more than anything. They've known each other for a long time when Madison gets placed as Elliot's assistant by her temp agency. The attraction is apparent but with a company policy forbidding office romance, they do their best to resist. All of that tension kept me glued to my kindle, waiting for the moment that Madison and Elliot just gave in to feelings between them.

There were definitely more than a few times that I wanted to smack Elliot upside his head during this story. But even then, I loved the push and pull that both of them showed while trying to fight their feelings for each other. I am really enjoying the Wherever You Go series and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some of the side characters from ZipMeds, the company Elliot and Madison work for, will get their own stories!!!

Too Hard to Resist (Wherever You Go) by Robin Bielman. This is Elliot Sax and Madison Hastings’ story.

I was hooked from the beginning to the end. I loved Elliot and Madison’s characters! They were so much fun. Elliot has met his match with Madison. You never know what she is going to do. The chemistry between Elliot and Madison was off the charts.

This book is the third book in the Wherever You Go Series. It can be read as a stand-alone but you will want to read the others.

FYI, contains mature content. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This was a sexy, forbidden romance.

A simple friend-of-a-friend relationship turns into so much more when Madison becomes Elliott's PA through a temp agency. After yielding to the temptation, both have to decide whether a job or love is more important for their happiness.

I loved this couple - both together & as individuals. I loved how devoted Elliott was to Madison, and I loved that Madison was always keeping him on his toes with her wit & ideas.

This book works perfectly as a standalone. I haven't read the first two in the series, but I was in no way lost or confused, though I definitely want to read them.

I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book

Too Hard to Resist by Robin Bielman is a beautifully written and heartwarming read.

I loved reading Elliott and Madison's story, they made me laugh, they made me swoon and they entertained me watching them fall in love.
Elliott and Madison were likable, passionate characters that I easily connected with and totally understood their dilemma with working together and struggling to keep their attraction at bay.

This was one of those reads that will keep you turning the pages and staying up late into the night as you can't put it down.
I loved Too Hard to Resist and the ending left me with a huge smile on my face.

Too Hard to Resist is an excellent addition to the Wherever You Go series, each book has been a joy to read and while they can be read as a standalone I recommend you read them all as you get to see the previous couples in books two and three.

Thank you Robin Bielman for writing and sharing your wonderful words and characters with us <3

I love every book in this series. Elliott and Madison have known each other for awhile, but have only ever spent minimal time together. They have mutual friends and she had a boyfriend. When they v are thrown together at work, she is his new assistant, they both realize that they like each other. She has always wanted a good job and she finally has it. He had never been able to keep an assistant for more than a few weeks. She is great at her job and he respects her because she stands up to him.
As they spend more time together, they realize they have a lot in common and are insanely attracted to each other. Unfortunately, their company has a strict no fraternizing policy. They fight the attraction as long as they can, even going as far c as insulting each other in an attempt but to like each other. Unfortunately, they can't fight it forever.
There were times when I wanted to smack Elliott for the things he said or did, even though I understood his reasoning. They both could lose their jobs if they get caught. What v well happen after they agree to spend one weekend together? Can they really go back to work as if nothing happened? Can they find a way to be happy even when something comes between them? How will he or she win the b other back after a huge error in judgment?
Every book in this series gets better and better. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest, voluntary review.

I adore Robin Bielman’s Wherever You Go series, and the third, stand-alone book, Too Hard to Resist, is an excellent addition. Her characters are always relatable and highly likable, and Madison Hastings and Elliot Sax might be two of my favorite.

After leaving her cheating fiancee, Madison is focusing on her career and financial security. She takes a temp job and finds herself working for an acquaintance—a very sexy acquaintance— Elliot. The chemistry between these two sizzles, but their company strictly forbids a workplace romance and neither wants to sacrifice their job. They’re mature enough to attempt to resist their attraction, but they are irresistibly drawn to one another. Robin Bielman does an incredible job of ensuring these two are equals, even when Elliot is technically the boss and has the power. She delivers a strong, smart and admirable heroine, and Elliot proves himself to be utterly swoon-worthy.

You can never go wrong with Robin Bielman, and Too Hard to Resist is another for the keeper shelf.

I love, love, LOVE me a good friends to lovers romance and add in the fact this is an office romance? I’m 100% in. Too Hard To Resist is one of the best office romances I’ve read in quite a while!

Madison is in need of a job to get out and buy a place of her own. After leaving her cheating fiance, she’s bound and determined to grab life by the balls and make it her own. But when the temp agency sends her to Elliot, a mutual friend, things are about to get heated!

Elliot is on a mission. He has a five year plan and wants nothing to stand in his way, but is in desperate need of a assistant who can hold her own. Little did he know that assistant was Madison. Pleasantly surprised at her work ethic and how well they work together, Elliot can’t stop thinking about Madison...and how he’s like to be more than her boss.

Too Hard To Resist is the perfect blend of fun, heat, sexual tension that is off the charts, a hot boss and an even hotter assistant ;) I loved how Elliot and Madison just blended so well together and that they both knew there was an incredible attraction, yet tried to do the right thing. But when they didn’t….hell, that was some amazingly hot sexy times!! I respected Elliot’s drive for success and his plan for his future and love how in the end, he built up Madison’s self esteem.

Too Hard To Resist is definitely a must for any Robin Bielman fan!

Too Hard to Resist by Robin Bielman is book Three in the Wherever You Go series. This is the story of Elliot Sax and Madison Hastings I have read the previous book but feel this can easily be a standalone book.
Madison is starting another Temp Job in hopes that this one will stick. When she gets the tour of the new job she finds out she will be working for Elliot. Madison has meet him before being a friend of a friend...so hes a friend. But the feelings she has for him are not of a friend but something more. Elliot knows its gonna be hard to resist Madison and how she makes him feel. But there is a not fraternizing work policy. But their feelings are Hard to Resit.
Really enjoyed this book.

It's a great read, I loved the story. It's well-written and has amazing characters, I liked all of them. I especially loved the way friendships surround the romance in this novel. It's very good to read something that is much more than a simple romance novel. It's funny at times, while sad at others. It has quiet a lot of romantic moments, and many embarrassing ones. All in all it's really a good story which, I think, all contemporary romance lovers will enjoy reading.

The always awesome Robin Bielman is back with the newest book in the Wherever You Go series and for me, this is hand down my favourite of them all. I loved this book, plain and simple.
As a reader, I know before even starting this a book from this author that I’m in for a treat. So, imagine my glee when I immediately started to fall for this couple from the opening pages that had me alternating between chuckling and awing. It could only suck me in further from there right? Well it certainly did.
There was just something about Elliott and Maddison that hit all the right romantic buttons with me. Smoking hot chemistry, tick, flirty banter, tick, working together so technically off limits, tick, friends in common, tick, developing feelings when they really shouldn’t, tick. This is like romance crack to me and THIS couple, oh this couple had me well and truly hooked.
Watching Elliott and Maddison dance around their growing attraction was so much fun to read. It was the back and forth of will they or won’t they that had me turning the pages faster and faster to see when they would cross the line. I say when because an attraction as strong as theirs wasn’t going to be ignored and when that line is crossed, HOT, HOT, HOT and so worth the build up.
In true romance style the HEA doesn’t come easily, but I loved seeing them realise how much they mean to each other and of course Elliott’s grovel had me grinning like a loon. Loved it.
For those who have read the series, you will see the previous characters as well as find a couple new ones to adore. One, who I have my fingers crossed gets her own book. Hint, hint.
I loved this story and hope you do too because it reminds me that sometimes you need to take a risk and see where it leads you.

Too Hard to Resist by Robin Bielman is the third book in the Wherever You Go Series. The previous books are Talk British to Me and Lips Close to Mine. I read and loved them both. Every book in the series is a standalone.

Too Hard to Resist is Madison and Elliot's story.
Madison is about to start a new job as PA. Her life's good.
Elliot Sax is the CEO of a start-up company and he needs help, desperatedly. And here comes Madison. Both are great together, as boss/ emplyee and also as lovers to be.
I started reading and while I connected with the charavters in the previous books very easily, Madison and Elliot were rather stubborn. It took me some time to get into their story.
There's drama and more drama. They break up and make up. They love each other but they're stubborn. Madison's still so young and has some serious grow up to do. Elliot wants her back and now he would do everything to win her back.

Too Hard to Resist is a sweet romance, told in a dual POV and I give sweet 4 stars.

Loved, loved, loved!! I laughed, I swooned, and I cheered as Elliott and Madison worked through the slow build of their relationship. Sure there was immediate attraction but since any type of relationship is strictly prohibited in the workplace they try to fight it! Some things are just too intense to ignore and eventually they give in to the flame burning between them. Where do they go from here? You will definitely want to grab a copy of this one and find out! I highly recommend it.

I totally enjoyed reading Too Hard to resist by Robin Bielman, book 3 in her Wherever You Go series. Madison left her groom at the altar, running from a life with her cheating fiancé and is now trying to find herself in the work force. After a number of short term temp jobs she lands as an assistant to the handsome and clever Elliot Sax. Although Elliot and Madison already know each other they work together well. Madison becomes a valuable assistant and learns from the responsibilities and work load Elliot gives to her. The only snag in this perfect scenario is the attraction they develop for one another at a company with a non-fraternization policy. These two try to douse the flames and feelings, until they can’t.

I love how strong and confident Madison became throughout the story. The only man she had ever been with was her ex- fiancé, who only provided vanilla sex during their years together. Madison had a wild woman inside of her who needed to come out and Elliot did his best to unleash it. These two characters were in a difficult situation but thanks to the help from their best friends they were able to find ways to work through their obstacles and concerns before finding love.

This book was quite enjoyable and I had trouble putting it down. Ms. Bielman wrote a wonderful story which drew me in, making me forget the world around me and did not let me go until I turned the last page. I highly recommend this book to other readers, as well as the previous two books in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I've enjoyed all the books in this series, but I think Madison and Elliot's story is my favorite. I absolutely loved the forbidden office romance and the intense sexual tension it created. The slow burn of tension was perfect and made the culmination of it that much better. Madison's transformation was also a high note of this story. She goes from doubting herself to being bold and confident which was so refreshing. Elliot's filthy mouth had me swooning and aching for more. I seriously couldn't get enough of these two together. I enjoyed seeing the couples from the past books and hope we get more of all of them in future books. This is definitely a series I will enjoy coming back to!

Too Hard To Resist by Robin Bielman is the third book in the Wherever You Go series. Although they are connected by characters, it’s not necessary to read Talk British To Me (Book 1 Mateo &Teague) or Lips Close To Mine (Book 2 Harper & Levi) as they are all standalones.
This is Elliot and Madison’s story. These two have known each other for years, they are friendly, but not really friends.
We met them both first in Talk British To Me, then Lips Close To Mine. Madison was the bride whom Teague became the wedding planner to, and got to know her a little.
With Elliot, we all know he’s a bit of a playboy from the previous two books but as Madison was off-limits due to being engaged he never allowed any lustful ideas to plant themselves in his head. Now, she’s single again and when she appears in his office as his new temp., he sees her with new eyes.
Madison has been temping for a while and really needs a steady job to get out of her parents house and is surprised when she discovers who her new boss is. Not the least because she’d been lusting over him in a coffee shop just minutes before.
These two have an instant attraction which is only ramped up by a non-fraternization policy of their employer. Try as they might, late nights, accidental-or not so accidental meetings and time trapped alone together sends their desires over the edge into risky involvement.
There’s a lot of sexy banter between these two, Madison in overly innocent but open to all Elliot has to offer and when after a long slow burn throughout ¾ of the story, they finally get together, it’s steamy heat of volcanic proportions.
With the stakes getting ever higher, the chances of getting caught bring them to the brink of separation. What will happen if their boss finds out.
Madison has a lot to lose, she’s just started out and loves her job, but does she love Elliot more?
Will Elliot do the right thing or make the biggest mistake of his life?
Find out when you One-Click this book today, it really is Too Hard To Resist.
