Lily is trying to keep the family hair salon going while keeping the problems from her mother who now lives in a retirement home and her father has passed away. Her mother had built the business up from nothing. Lily was a preacher's daughter and raised to be a good girl and act a certain way. But when Lily sees Marco her common sense deserts her. Lily is deeply in debt. Marci is a millionaire and wants to but the run down astrip mall for a project all the other shop owners have agreed to sell except Lily. Marco had a tragic secrets from his past and now has to control everything in his life. He wants no emotional ties He has no business or romantic dealings without a signed contract. Marco decides to go straight to L:ily. At first Lily thinks Marco is a customer. There is very strong hot chemistry between Lily and marco and they end up having sex in a storage closet in the shop then Lily says she won’t sell. Marco and his brother Nico gets the news and their grandmother is turning ninety but not in good health in Italy. Nothing would make marco’s grandmother happier than to think he has found someone and is happy. So Marco goes to Lily with a deal, a solution that is hard to say no to. But any break in the contract and Lily loses her business, She pretend to be his fake fiancee for a month and got to Italy with Marco for his grandmother’s ninetieth birthday party and make his grandmother happy and Marco will make sure Lily gets to keep her shop.
I had mixed feelings about this book. I did read it in one setting soi it did keep my attention enough that I could read the book. It was a hot quick read. I liked that marco wanted to make his grandmother happy. But his life is all about signed contracts and he has sex with Lily right after meeting her that is odd and then Lily is going to go all against what she had been raised to be and have sex with a random man she just met, Just so out of character for these too and I don't care how hot their connection was still just way too fast for the way these two characters were. I would have liked less ex and more story . there were family issues in this book also. I did like how Lily wanted to keep her mother’s business going against all odds. So as i said I like this book but I did have mixed feelings about it.

Holy hotness! This one starts with serious steam and keeps it up all the through the book. It also has a decent story to go along with all that heat. Family and business issues give just the right amount of angst to the story. Lily and Marco are great characters and definitely make being bad look oh so good. Definitely a book I recommend.

3.25⭐
Good Girl Gone Bad was a quick and easy read. That had little angst and plenty of heat. As well as two likable main characters. Although if I'm honest, I did struggle to connect with and feel a spark between them.
Yet I did find the story engaging, particularly during the second half where I was really drawn in. However, there were moments when I felt things were a little bit too predictable.
But nevertheless it was a good read. Which I'm sure fans of the author will enjoy.

Quickie, erotic, billionaire, fake fiancee romance. That just about hits all the important points. I really enjoy Falcone's suspense series so I requested this one from Netgalley expecting similar characters. While they are interesting with their own personal baggage I'm not a fan of insta love with very detailed intimate moments, like multiple chapters for a single event. Some people want that but I got a little bored with the repetition.

So sweaty!!

I love reading a Carmen Falcone book. I know that when I pick one of her stories up, it is going to be hot and sweaty along with an engaging story and interesting characters.

This book started off hot and did not let up. I am not saying this book was all about sex. It wasn't, but the hotness level peaks every time Marco comes in the room. MMmm

A bit of family drama and some tender feelings tend to get in the way, but this story is a spicy read with the right about of heat balanced throughout. Another great one by Ms. Falcone.

This book was just not my cup of tea. I DNF''d it and didn't post a review online because I didn't feel comfortable reviewing it when I didn't read it completely. There was just too much sex and too little story for my liking. Perhaps this is an imprint I should avoid in the future.

I enjoyed the romance between Lily and Marco. They had some great chemistry and passion in their romance. I liked Marco and how he resolved the problem with Lily's salon. This was a read that I enjoyed.

Wow I really wasn't expecting this to be as good since I was unfamiliar with the author but golly this one blew me away. The sexual chemistry was super nova hot and the sex scenes were indescribably excellent. I don't think there's really is anymore to say. This one was really worth the time and the wait

Lily is desperately trying to keep her salon business afloat but is struggling with debt after her father’s illness and her mother’s retirement to a home. The last thing she needs is the hassle from big business to sell up so they can develop the site. She drawn to a handsome customer not realising he’s not there for a cut but to persuade her to sell up. Their mutual attraction leads to a whirlwind deal that leads them onto a path of discovery. Enjoyable read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

A delicious sexy contemporary from the author Carmen Falcone .

Good Girl Gone Bad is about a preacher's daughter on the verge of bankruptcy and losing her family-legacy salon and a billionaire italiano hotness propositioning her to a month of uber sexy and steamy times.

Although the premise shocked us with a bout of sexy scene in the backroom of the salon with the heroine being said to be a "good girl", this has been an absolute delight to read for me.

The sex scenes were not overly done, just a good amount of hotness to be still considered as a contemporary and not erotica.

Also has enough amount of drama to create a solid story without over-plotting.

With all of that, this is a great read.

Just don't connect the title with the heroine because I never thought, not even for a second reading this book that she's a "GOOD GIRL". Probably because she was a preacher's daughter? But that's just about it.

Actually, "She's as bad as they cum come." *Snorts*

It has a good start and the proposition after was ok. The heroine is likeable and the male character is like all the others male in the romantic universe.
Their connection was quick and their scenes sex was kink yet I could not connect with them as a couple.
Marco already wants to pursue Lily after one meeting. Lily was too in love for him, I am all for independent
women, but she wants him to tell her all his secrects, yes his secrects was sad. Their personality and how they deal with it was too over the top.

This was a good romance. I like the poor girl, rich boy story. I hope we can read one about his brother.

Smoking hot and I do mean smoking! Lily is the last hold out in a strip mall that's been bought up by two brothers, Lily refuses to sell. The tiny shop was her mother's beauty shop. Her Mom now is a retirement living home, her father passed away, Lily needs to hand onto that one last piece of her Mother's past. She's deep in debt, she knows it's only a matter of time. Still she refuses.
Marco decides to pay Lily a visit. When he arrives, Lily mistakes him for a customer at first, a laughable bit of confusion. Marco is all that and more. Dark, handsome and powerful and oh so sexy.
So after he an Lily hit the storage closet at the shop and then he hits her with his business deal, she tells him to take a hike.
Marco is all about contracts and paper. Sign here and I'm not emotionally involved and you know what you're getting into. When he and his brother Nico get news that their Nonna who will be 90 soon and might be her last birthday because of her failing health, nothing would make his Nonna happier than to know that he's found someone to be happy with. Marco had a tough childhood for reasons you need to read in the book. Not what you think either. So Marco comes back to Lily with a new offer, be his fake fiancé for a month, go to Italy and make Nonna happy and I'll do xyz for you and you can keep the shop. Meanwhile these two literally torch not just the sheets but about every surface you can imagine. I did find myself skimming a few of those scenes because I wanted the story.
It's a good story, loaded with family issues, men who are still little boys and one woman with a hell of a backbone.

Good Girl Gone Bad is a very steamy contemporary romance that tells the story of good-girl-Lily and bad-boy-billionaire-Marco. Written in third person, the writing style is easy to follow and gives glimpses into both character's minds. The story flows easily, and it's an enjoyable surface-level read.

However, it's just not quite my style. I love plenty of steam, but also want to feel a real connection to the characters. While I liked Lily and Marco, I just didn't find myself get involved at a deeper level. The emotional development was well-timed, but the whole "good girl" premise is kinda blown by Lily's immediate jumping into "bed" with Marco... over and over again. It seems to be primarily supported by the fact that her deceased father was a preacher, and that's it. And for being pitched as an alpha hero, Marco is actually quite tame.

The pacing was also a bit off for me... as I was getting near the end I started to question whether the story actually resolved within the novel!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Well what can I say this book was hot. I kind of like more of a story line besides sex, sex, and some more sex. So we have Marco an alpha billionaire who pretty much controls what he wants. Then we meet Lily who grew up as a preachers daughter...I wont tell you more, but I have to admit pretty hott!!! so if you want a story without too much thinking that this is it for you.

Lily has always lived up to her preacher father’s expectations of how she should behave, but all that changes when a hot stranger walks in to her hair salon and a feral need to have him takes over her common sense. On a whim, she screws him in the supply room, caving to a desire that only grows with each kiss. When I started reading I couldn't put it down I read the book in one day.Carmen is magnifysent writer.I cannot wait to read more of her books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

Goodness gracious, did Good Girl Gone Bad sizzle or what? Get ready for a hot, hot, hot ride in this enemies to loves, fake engagement story that is certain set your Kindle on fire.
Let's start with the fact that this book has a lot of sex in it. Lots and lots of sex. In fact, Marco and Lily have sex the moment they meet. In Chapter One. And it's one sizzling sex scene after another following that. If lots of sex is not what you're after, then you might want to give it a miss, but I knew what I was getting into and I enjoyed the hotness. I hear a lot of people complain about sex scenes and not liking to read about sex. That they skim them and they are boring. Nuh uh, not me. I like reading about when the couples get all jiggy jiggy with each other. It's the best part of the story. And to me, in a lot of romances, a physical manifestation of their love and attraction, so this girl is not going to complain about the sex.
The long and the short of it is Lily's business is failing and a big property tycoon wants to buy her shop to put in a parking garage. She refuses to sell. Enter Marco, determined to convince her to sell only to be swept away by Lily's gorgeousness (of course!). So they strike a bargain. Sex for a month, a fake engagement on top of that, and she gets to keep her shop. Not a smart business decision on Marco's part but he's thinking with his other head. :-p
I liked Marco. Marco has demons haunting him. Demons that keep him from engaging in anything deep or meaningful, hiding behind his contracts and structured life. He keeps everyone at arm's length in order for him to not feel, not become engaged and emotionally entangled. Protecting himself from pain as an adult because of the pain he suffered as a child. And he uses sex as a balm to soothe it all.
"“That’s why we have a confidential agreement.” “Exactly. You don’t trust me,” she said, her voice breaking. An emotion he didn’t understand flickered in her huge green eyes, making him feel smaller than a grain of dirt. “I should go home. This doesn’t feel real to me, even as fake as it is. You don’t need me—you have your huge ego and secrets to keep you company.” "
"“Happiness for me isn’t the same it is for most people. I…haven’t been given lilies, so I don’t know where to start. I like to know what to expect from people. I like to be in control, even if I miss out on other things. That’s how I operate.”"
Only Marco doesn't count on Lily. Sure he has a contract and a confidentiality agreement with her. They are supposed to end their affair in a month, but Lily is different. She's sweet, caring, and genuine. She gives freely of herself and she pushes Marco to confront the pain that has been eating away at him his entire life. Lily isn't in it for the money (okay, initially she was to save her shop) but because she truly did develop strong feelings for Marco. She wants the best for him. For him to feel love and happiness.
"...That’s why I’m focusing on what’s bringing me joy right now…and that’s you,” he said hoarsely. A warm expression washed over his face, the heat of his gaze burning her flesh. “You’re vibrant, real, honest.”"
I loved how being with Lily changed Marco's perspective on love and people. He, of course, still has a long way to go, but he at least decides to stop hiding and protecting his heart and fights for what he wants. He learned that all from Lily because Lily is brave. When it came to facing off a property developer hellbent on buying her shop, she fought for it. When it came to facing strangers determined to undermine her, she fought for her dignity and her place. When it came to the man she loved, she fought for him too.
This is my first erotic romance by Ms Falcone and it won't be my last. I hope Marco's brother Nico gets a story because I'd love to see him fall for a woman.

Marco wants to buy a small, rundown strip mall, and all the owners have agreed to sell, except a beauty saloon owner, Lily.
When Marco goes to meet Lily and convince her to sell, she mistakes him as a customer. From the minute they lay eyes on each other, their chemistry is palpable. After spending a memorable time in the supply closet, Marco proposes a month long affair to Lily and in exchange he will not buy her saloon and pay off her debts. She also has to pretend to be his fiancée for his grandmothers birthday celebration. The chemistry between them is so strong that Lily agrees. What will happen after the month is over ?
Good girl gone bad is a HOT and sexy read. It has a sexy brooding tortured hero, a sweet and sexy heroine, a fake engagement, emotions and sizzling hot bedroom action. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and look forward to more from the author.
