I enjoyed the story between Jasmine and Leo. I really liked their shared history, and that their history didn’t hinder their new relationship at all. I liked the supporting characters. And while it may seem a bit far fetched that both of Jasmine’s parents had a change of heart after one conversation, I really liked that Leo was able to help with them and that things did get better. Really hot between them.

5 *FireBlazing* Stars!!

Holy wow I loved this. At first the heroine seemed like she was going to be this pushover. Then she later on stood up to her parents and she blew me away. And Leo I mean anyone who is a fan of Chicago Fire will see him as a character from this show. We also at the end get a sneak peak of a tiny bit of the next book. We meet the heroine and the hero but he’s not named. I’m so curious I can’t wait to read the next book!

This book is about Leo and jasmine also known as jazz, they kind of grew up together, jazz was from a prominent family and Leo was the housekeeper son. There was definitely lines that should not be crossed!! It was an OK read definitely a steamy read but not really for me! It was very Insta love once they get back in touch with each other. Thank you netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Overall, a quick and easy read, and it kept my attention all the way through to the end. Jasmine is a nurse, who meets up at a wedding rehearsal, an old friend from her childhood. Leo is now a firefighter, and naturally handsome and rugged looking. A couple of things I find a little overused in the genre is the need to point out that men like her being a little overweight, and the mean girls who are stick thin. Shouldn't matter either way. Also, the overbearing parents and such is overused too. Would still recommend though, as these are minor to the overall enjoyment.
