Voyeurs, this is the series for you. The second book in the Boardroom series is sensual, erotic and delicious. I like how Bree is placed in a position of possible conflict when her scandalous private life intersects with her work life. Ryan Burns's sexual predilections matches up to Bree's desires. Their interaction is even hawter because it dances on the line of possible sexual harassment if they bring it into the work place. Is it really feasible to keep your work and private life separate after being intimately involved? The dangers of a sexual interlude going wrong is high.

In real life, this can all end badly. In this erotica, Ms. Aicher kinks it up and brings fantasies to life. The sexual chemistry between Brighton and Bree is exciting. The way they interact with some tentative fear and then roll into an erotic power exchange is fun to watch. This is the kind of romance that feels good. Recommended for romance readers who enjoy spicy sex scenes and like to play voyeur.

The boardroom has never seen this…

Whew! This series breaks any and all protocol that might have been set up for the boardroom. Yeah, protocol = rules and there are few other than doing what you are told. And the reward? Is all worth it…

Brighton knows all about protocol and she soon realizes that ditching it all and following her own feelings won’t break her. They will set her free. And Ryan is there to help her with that. Their coming together was heat and passion, desire at its most simple and complicated. It was easy to play the watcher as they invited you in to feel what they were feeling… Of course real life intrudes, how can it not, but this story was about living your passion and love could beat everything.

Another satisfying read from a favourite author.

I've just completed a binge read of this excellent series! I loved the dynamic between Ryan and Brie--in and out of the Boardroom. They're perfect for each other in that they have the ability to see right through each other's facades to the real people inside. I loved how Brie and Ryan balanced each other--that the "got" each other. Both finally allowing themselves the freedom to love and be loved back. Swoon. This is my favorite of the series!

Blind Trust is so, so good! A well written erotica that explores trust between two people whose past will forever color their perceptions about relationships. Imlove how Ryan and Brie’s relationship just blossomed from a sex centered one to one that is emotionally intense and so raw at times. Readers who love their erotica with a lot of character development will definitely love Blind Trust.

Blind Trust is was g great book. . Ryan is a lawyer/partner at a law firm where Brie is a paralegal, but the two do not know each other well. Brie was given an experience in The Boardroom for her birthday. The boardroom is a group of people who meetup to participate in or watch prearranged sexy scenes together.
Brie has a very sexy night, blindfolded in the boardroom, that she can not forget. The unknown man at the time, she realizes later she actually knows him. The twist and turns are sexy and hot!

This was a fantastic book, that I enjoyed. It was easy to read and the characters were perfect.

A Must Read!!

This second instalment of the Boardroom series is just as hot as the first. Seemingly sensible Brighton Wakefield puts all her trust into the four men in the boardroom who will make her sexual dreams come true. However life becomes complicated when Brighton and one of the men, Ryan, realise that they were into boardroom together. The story develops into something deeper as the two explore their feelings and sexual fantasies with each other. An engaging and sexy read.

It was considered an exclusive club and would tempt all your inner desires. Brighton wanted something different. It would be something that would unleash all her hidden desires allowing them to be met while remaining in control. It was only one time but it turned into something so much more. Meeting him was everything she could have possibly imagined and finding that one thing that was missing. Keeping up with the demands of her mom she finds herself lacking the things her mother wants. A husband and children. Will she finally unleash all her desires and Sind the one man she would love forever. Absolutely an amazing story!

Quick(ish) Review
I ended up liking this, even if it’s not my favorite Aicher book. I say ended up, because for the first half of this book, I struggled. I did like that they both got off on exhibitionism, and while there's kinky fuckery as a general theme to this series, there's no sharing or OM/OW drama as far as their relationship. I respected the way that Ms. Aicher continues to handle the power imbalance issue in this series well. I just really had a hard time connecting to these two to enjoy it. Add to it the fact that it’s a lawyer romance, not my favorite trope, and well, it was just an ok read in the end.

Now, character-driven romance is usually my favorite. Unfortunately, Brie and Ryan’s characters were all about their individual angst, and their reluctance to fall in love, and angst is not something I intentionally seek in a romance. If I connect with the characters it can work for me, but this didn't quite hit the mark.

However, I readily admit that this had a couple of strikes against it as far as my personal requirements for a romance, so if you’re more into angst than I am, and into exhibitionism as a kinky theme, you may enjoy this more than I did.

2 stars

Synopsis: Jason is part of an elite club that meets in various boardrooms after hours to perform various sexual fantasies. One night, he sees Brie, and recognizes her as a paralegal who works for his firm. After that night, Jason doesn't think that he will ever see Brie again in a non-work situation.
Brie is tired of being a good girl, so for her birthday, she decides to act out one of her fantasies in front of a group of men. When she decides to go again, the man who made everything easy for her is there again.
Then Jason and Brie start working together on a case, and they get closer.

What I liked: that the story picked up a little after the 50% mark.

What I didn't like: for the first part of the story, there was so much pity party and repetitiveness and sex.

Overall impression: told in alternating POV between Jason and Brie.

*I received a copy through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Blind Trust is a great addition to The Boardroom series. This book is Ryan and Brie/Brighton's story. Ryan a lawyer where Brie is a paralegal but the two are not familiar with each other. Great characters, a steamy storyline and sexiness that sets the barometer to high, this invitation is definitely a birthday to remember.

10 hot stars- Lynda Aicher knows just what it takes to captivated and stun her readers. This book had me grabbing for a cold glass and needing a cold shower. The entire premise of the book was riveting. When the rules change there is no guessing what is going to happen and boy does it get hot. This made me look at lawyers in a whole new way. Loved it. Thank you for allowing me to read this and write about it.

I can honestly say it is a rare occasion when I pick up a book that completely captivated me. A book that makes me gasp. Grabs a hold and just doesn’t let go. There are a few authors that have the ability to write and create a story in such a fashion. But I was honored to read and review an author that has managed to do just that.

This book is one of those that leaves a lasting memory. From the very first scene, the pages are burning hot and so is the sex. The imagery is amazing and I felt so connected to the characters.

I could go on and on and wax poetic about this book, but suffice it to say that if you are looking for a highly erotic and mentally captivating story, you have got to read this book. The character connection and story development is flaming hot and flat out stunning. Just grab it.

Brighton Wakeford has always played by the rules but now she wants to fulfill her fantasy. And an invitation to the Boardroom gives her that chance.

Ryan Burns is the lawyer for the exclusive Boardroom club. But when he recognizes Brighton as a willing new participant who is a coworker he knows he should back off. But rules are about to change.

Always intense, super sexy and entertaining, I've never been let down by a book by Lynda Aicher! In this one a woman gets to explore some of her deepest fantasies, only to discover that the man fulfilling them is one of her bosses at work.

Brie decides to take a chance on her sexual fantasies when a friend gives her a night at the Boardroom, a sex club that rotates to different boardroom locations. It's top quality and fully confidential, with non disclosure agreements a must as the men and women who frequent it are well known in the business community. Brie has always wanted to be blindfolded and pleasured by multiple men, and there's a particular man on her night that anchors her and makes her feel safe even though she can't see him. It makes her want to experience it again, and as it turns out, her second night, he's there too. But it's not until she's at work and he calls her by Brie instead of her professional name of Brighton that she realizes that man is none other than one of her bosses at her company, Ryan.

Ryan is the lawyer for the club and he recognizes Brie right away, but he can't reveal to her that he knows who she is. When he inadvertently slips at work, he's already prepared to deal with the professional fallout if she should reveal the existence of the club. But Brie surprises him by wanting to continue her boardroom adventures - with him. What starts as a fun sexual escapade becomes more as they start to care for each other. But Ryan is determined to stay clear of relationships and commitment, even as he discovers he wants to be with Brie outside of their agreement. They work well together, they play well together - can he overcome his issues to be in a real relationship too?

Blind Trust looks at a bunch of kinks including multiple sex partners, exhibitionism, and voyeurism all in the process of delivering a sexy, emotional romance. Ryan and Brie are obviously sexually compatible and while their initial encounters involve other partners, it gradually evolves into a monogamous relationship. Their work relationship gets a bit complicated though they still manage to get their projects done and there are some sexy scenes that happen outside of the official Boardroom club. Trusting one another with sex isn't enough though, and Ryan must overcome some issues from his past to give Brie the happy ending she deserves. There are some interesting secondary characters and I'm looking forward to reading their stories, and more of this series!

So let me set the scene a bit. There I was reading contemporary after contemporary (and loving them, btw) when I started craving something a bit naughtier. After scrolling through my upcoming arcs, I came across two erotic romances, both from Carina Press. One of the books was Blind Trust, the 2nd book in Lynda Aicher's The Boardroom series. Holy fuck, this book was friggin' hot. The whole idea of the Boardroom and heroines discovering their sexuality is freaking amazing. I loved the characters Brie and Ryan. I loved that they're both flawed and wounded. Following their journey towards self-awareness and learning about themselves made them so damn lovable. Watching them break down each other's barriers. Their chemistry, sexual tension... Let's just say it was love at first page for me.

I am loving this series. There's something about these characters leaving their inhibitions at the door that keeps me coming back for more. I want to see how Lynda ups the game in the next book. Will it be sexier? How can it get sexier? Will it finally be Trevor's book? Will Jacob get one? All questions I cannot wait to see if they are answered.

I'm really enjoying the whole idea of the Boardroom series! I loved the first book and felt confident in taking the plunge into the series. While I found Brie and Ryan not quite as interesting as the first couple, they sure knew how to steam up the Boardroom windows!

Brighton is a paralegal and was raised uptight and proper. Ryan is a made-his-own-way successful lawyer with a horrible childhood. During a blindfolded Boardroom encounter, Ryan becomes enchanted with the woman who is the main attraction. Brie, almost calling off the whole encounter, finds solace in the man who makes her feel safe, even not knowing who that man is. As it turns out, they work together, and Brie finds that Ryan is one of her superiors. The two end up on a work project together and find they are drawn to each other even out of the Boardroom. Ryan has an interesting past, he's guarded himself off of love, a workaholic with no need of messy relationships. Brie is from a very formal family and her mother's constant interfering in her love life is tiresome. Brie longs to break loose and be naughty, so the Boardroom is perfect for her because it's anonymous, well, until it's not.

We have some of the same issues as book #1, where these people work with each other and find working in the same office while playing in the same Boardroom scenes can become quite messy. It's a great premise for a series and I'm up for book #3!

This is the second book in the series, and there is no doubt they keep the thermometer on high! If you have read the first book, you will know the set up – if not, then I would recommend the first to you, but even as a standalone this is a good read. Anonymity and fun in a boardroom somewhere in town, but the world at that level is small, and so it is little surprise that attraction can lead further!

As Brighton is blindfolded, she does not know who is bringing her the pleasure she craves, but Ryan recognises her, but is too drawn to play to be sensible and not touch his co-worker. He has a messy past and no desire to combine passion with romance... yeah, well, we all know that Ms. Aicher has plans for her leading man, and we get to enjoy both him and Brie loosen up and both choose to give their pleasure and their love to each other. Of course, the path is not exactly smooth, but it makes for fun reading.

I am looking forward to seeing who else is going to find out just what playing in the Boardroom can lead to...
