A year ago, I discovered one of my favorite authors, with Devil You Know (Lost Boys #1). I loved every single book that came after.

Once again, L.A. Fiore delivered a beautiful and heartbreaking love story.

My heart swooned, laughed, but also bleed.
I loved Alexis, and laughed so hard at her “internal rantings”, and Greyson’s humor, too…
I don’t know how the author does it, but this story was, like her previous books, the perfect balance of humor, tenderness, angst, sexiness, and with some hints of mystery.

The supporting characters were excellent too, the way they created this wonderful family that isn’t given to us by blood, but by choice.

And the way this story was built, through the years, the double POV, it was very interesting, and maybe that was why the pace felt so perfect to me.

Alexis and Greyson’s story felt sometimes like a modern and lovely fairy tale, with sweet and romantic moments, but we also had passion, lust, and angst. There was room for some History too, with family legends, castles and lost treasures, so this book was an amazing mix (and a big rollercoaster) of emotions.

It was romantic, angsty, tragic, funny, and even magical, I love every bit of their love story, even the saddest and darkest parts.

So, if you’re still new to L.A. Fiore, grab this book, you’re about to fall in love with her writing ad her stories.

If you’re already a fan, well, you’ll devour this book and live all kinds of emotions.
Your heart can brace itself, but it’s worth it.

I can’t wait for her next books, Demon You Love (Lost Boys #2), and the next book in the Shipwreck series!

Our Unscripted Story is about that one true love story that starts with first love and end as a forever love. I know when I start to read an L.A. Fiore book that I am going to need tissues because every emotion is going to be exposed in her books.

The unscripted story of Grayson and Alexis is about two souls that just fit together and never let go of each other; no matter what life throws at them. From the very beginning you will be hooked and gutted by what happens; then you will be so in love with these characters that you won’t be able to put this book down. By the end, you will feel like you just lived through the greatest love story ever.

This might be L.A. Fiore best book to date, but I would say that after every book she writes. Her writing just flows from page to page, leaving you always wanting more and in a book coma.

Every lover of romance books NEEDS to read this book.

OMG !!, I just couldn't put this book down. What an emotional roller coaster of a ride from the first chapter to the very last one. Amazing characters, I just fell in love with from the start. Another amazing story from this author. I have definitely been left with a book hanger over with this book. This story is so fantastically written, one minute your are smiling the next you are crying like a baby. I can't wait to read more from this amazing writer in the future.

WOW JUST WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!! Our Unscripted Story by LA Fiore is perfection simply perfection.

An epic romance that sucks you in and doesn't let go.

LA Fiore takes you on an incredibly journey with Alexis and Greyson. From the very first pages of this book I was hooked. Watching this love unfold right before my very eyes and I couldn't put this down.

From their first glance at each other I could feel the connection with these two. It's something almost magical. Not once throughout this story did I find myself getting lost other then in the story itself. The writing is so flawless and this story bleeds out from the pages and holds on tight.

I couldn't help but find myself emotionally involved with these two. A young love that blossoms and grows through up and downs, distance and closeness and everything in between.

"The moment was bittersweet because your first boyfriend was rarely your forever boyfriend, but in that perfect moment I let myself believe."

Greyson he was every single thing I imagined in a forever. His passion for his craft, his passion for Alexis just powerful, raw and absolutely beautiful.

"I would give all of this up for you, every painting, every cornerstone, every acre. That's how much you mean to me."

And Alexis she is so so so strong, she was relatable, likeable in every way imaginable. I absolutely adored her.

This book is nothing but FEELS !!!!!!! From butterflies to heartache, from sweet surprises to utter shock this book will consume you. Story telling at its finest if you ask me.

Going on my ride or die reads list for sure and sitting in the top ten of my fav reads of the year so far. For those that love romance, that kind of romance that stands the test of time this is an absolute MUST READ.

What could I talk about a book that did exactly what I always expect when picking up a new reading: romance ,romance and more romance…I can not describe everything I felt at the end of this literary treasure. I really like L. A. Fiori's books because she always brings a different storyline with human characters, well built and passionate.
The book counts magically and sweetly the love story of a couple who are destined to be together and do not let the Life that crosses their path and disrupts the relationship. When two hearts are meant to be intertwined forever, no matter the distance, everything conspires for unity.
I am not saying much, because everything that happens is a surprise to the reader, I´ll just say that I found great the way that writer presented the detail of his family and the story of them was beautiful and cute . I'm in an endless reading hangover now and I've spent a lot of the anguished moments thinking about what their conflict point would be and when it happened I was left with no floor .... I swear I would never imagine such a thing, much less how everything was resolved.
Wonderful this experience and recommend it to everyone who loves a romance laden with love all the timeeeeee….. I liked the cover idea even though I found a lot of information for one cover.
5/5 stars

I LOVE THIS BOOK! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!! This book consumed me from the moment I picked it up and I could NOT put it down!! It was so great I almost burnt dinner because I couldn’t pull my head out of these pages! This isn’t your typical love at first sight; it is EVERYTHING!

Alexis is a sweet, adorably awkward woman that has a very difficult childhood. Despite her hardships, she develops a true gift for words and sets her course for a career as a writer. She meets the love of her life, Greyson at the tender age of 16. Greyson, the hot, talented, Irish artist can’t resist his pull to Alexis and she very quickly becomes his muse. When these two get together, it sets the course for a heart-achingly beautiful story!

These characters are so well developed and the story flows so smoothly. The characters are so real, they will feel like they’re a part of your circle. The secondary characters were well written too and I couldn't help but adore them as well! This story takes place over a few decades, so getting a flow can sometimes be difficult, but not with this story; it flowed seamlessly and flawlessly! It is everything a story should be, you will laugh, cry, swoon and at times get frustrated! It has ALL the feels!

This book is A MUST READ! SERIOUSLY! GO GET IT!!! This was my first read by this author and it absolutely will not be my last!

4 beautiful and emotional stars!! This book has a little bit of everything and is the definition of true love.

💚 This is Alexis and Greyson’s story....

“...I’ve loved you from the very first moment I saw you.”

I knew the first day I saw him that he would be the boy I would forever base my love stories on. Yea maybe I was only a teenager and ok, maybe, we never even spoke. But in my head he was it, my forever. Yea I am totally over doing it but tell my mind that. So I let this play out in my head and then what happens... he is the new kid at school! Ahh. Then I really fall for him, my first love, my first kiss, my first everything and then he’s gone. There will never be anyone that can take his place. Maybe al I had was 9months but he etched a place in my heart forever. ~Alexis

“He hadn’t broken us; he’d just bent us.”

💭My thoughts...

What an emotional ride!! This book was on the lengthy end and with that being said it consumed my day, happily. These two are just beautiful souls and I love that. And I just kept falling more and more in love with Greyson. Also, Alexis is a one of a kind, kind of woman. What I wouldn’t give to be her friend. She held her head up through so much.

This book was great in that it started you from the very beginning and took you on one hell of a journey. It threw in some suspense, some mystery, heart break, second chances, third chances, first loves, friendships and so much emotion that you can’t put it down. This will be a book that will be talked about for many many years. This will be THAT recommendation, the one when you need a good soul cleansing.

The group of characters were wonderful. I loved the banter and just the feel of coming home every time they were together. The author did one hell of a job developing these characters and writing this story. Can I also mention what a unique and beautiful cover!! Love it!!

This book is good for whatever you are going through in life or even if you just need a great romance. Trust me it doesn’t lack in the sexy time department either!! Trust me you will want to check this book out.

"A life without love isn't a life worth protecting."

L.A. Fiore never fails to put my emotions through a wringer. She is also guilty of weaving stories within stories so that she takes me on a journey I'm not expecting, even when I've read enough of her work that I should be expecting it. I love her surprises. ❤️

When they first met, she was 16 yrs. old and Greyson was 18 yrs. old. She found him sitting on her jetty. It was her place, where she went to be alone and write her stories. She'd never seen anyone else there before, and she might have been upset at the invasion if she hadn't been struck dumb by his presence. The attraction she felt for the stranger was immediate and confusing. She didn't even know his name but she'd already written a love story in her head before she actually met him.

Greyson was just passing through on his way to pursue his career as an artist. His grandfather insisted he finish high school before he left, so he was just biding his time. He didn't think anything would make him want to delay his dream, but leaving her was the hardest thing he'd ever done... but he did it.

It was so sweet watching the teenagers fall for each other. The notes in lockers, walking to class, and the first kiss. The first visit to the #EraserRoom. She wasn't the only one envisioning their forever, I was guilty of the same thing. Just like her, I knew he wasn't staying, but I fell for him anyway. And right along with her, I was devastated when he left.

I also fell in love with many of the support characters. Especially the twins. L.A. Fiore, if you are reading this, pretty please give them their own book. I neeeedddd to see them fall in love. You could even do it with just one book and make it a menage, I'm okay with that. Please?

Let me tell you, I practically held my breath the whole time she and Grayson were separated. Biting my nails and my lip, sooooo anxious for them to find each other again. But of course, the author doesn't make it easy for her readers. No, we must yearn and worry and wait and just when we think everything is fine, it's not. I'm considering investing in a defibrillator to have on hand before I start reading her next book, just in case my heart stops again. But no worries, you couldn't stop me from devouring whatever she decides to tackle next. The line forms here...

Our Unscripted Story by L.A. Fiore is the story of Greyson and Alexis.
This stars with watching Alexis go through her life from an early time jumping through different parts of her life. We see her meeting Greyson when he was the new kid in town. Go forward to her making of her life. We then see Greyson and Alexis meeting up again in a different point in their lives. Alexis had been giving a hard life even though it started with love but sadly it took a bad turn. Greyson was a great main character but Alexis was the one that stole at the heart strings. This was a really great second chance at love!
This book hooked you in from the start an hard to put down.

Alexis and Greyson meet as teenagers and fall head over heels in love, only to be ripped apart after a few months of being together. 5 years later their paths cross again and with it a chance to reconnect.

This story didn’t go the way I expected it to at all. I was thinking this was going to be a light-hearted romantic read about high school sweethearts who get a second chance at love, which it was to a degree but it was a nice surprise that there was so much more to the story.

This book is told in the alternate perspectives of Greyson and Alexis. Sometimes swapping back and forth multiple times during each chapter, which meant you always had some idea about what each person was thinking. Both characters were well developed and had interesting backgrounds which gave them lots of depth.

I really enjoyed the ups and down that Alexis and Greyson went through, it wasn’t all plain sailing for them but their determination to stay together no matter what was really admirable.

The only slightly negative was that for most of the story Greyson came across as the perfect guy but this resolved towards the end when some of his more negative traits came to light, so it wasn’t really that much of an issue.

Overall I really liked this story and I would recommend.

I really want to give it 100 stars but I guess I guess will settle for 5. This really was a wonderful, superb read. I loved it so much. Alexis, oh Alexis. I want her as my friend. She grew up with so much on her mind. She didn't have the greatest upbringing, but I was so glad Dylan, Dominic and their parents opened up their home to her. I have a special love for Dylan and Dominic.(here's to so much hope that they're getting their own book???) Greyson Ratcliffe is the new hot guy in town. They see each other for the first time at a distance, and both are enamored with each other but they keep it to themselves. They discover a love so rare, so perfect, they promise to find each other in the future. This book takes you through their Unscripted Story. Its not perfect, but life isn't perfect. This is the Greyson and Alexis story. I honestly cried, my heart hurt so much then it slowly got puzzled back together. I cannot recommend this book enough. This rare perfect love they discovered when they were in their teens carried with them as they got older. L.A. Fiore, you did it again. Thanks for writing such a wonderful book.
I received this ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

It takes a special kind of author to weave a spell on its readers to captive them from the very first sentence to the very last. I knew I was going to like this book after the first chapter… Colour me wrong.. I loved this book. I can’t recommend it enough!

I read this book a week ago then got food poisoning/ viral infection ( not related hahahha) but as I was lying in bed thinking I was close to death (dramatic but true story lol) I kept thinking about Our Unscripted Story and it made my heart break and made me love love even more.

I write this review, with what can only be described as honest to God, a slow death; from my bed, on a phone because you guys need to read this book… This book is pure love… It makes you want the love these characters have for each other.

Alexis and Greyson’s love is pure magic. It’s all consuming and it casts a spell of enchantment on it’s readers (readers beware, those romantics at heart, this book will make you fall more in love).

Our Unscripted Story is beautiful and just when you think everything is fine and dandy, your heart breaks, you cry for these two people you don’t even know…and it becomes a roller coaster of emotion, then you curse the author (sorry!) until you realise that the angst in this book is frustrating but it’s the good kind of frustrating that keeps you reaching for the book again; it’s the type of book you think of even days and weeks after you are done.

The tide of emotions this book brought into my life and the way it stuck through was a blessing and a curse.

I loved this book through every word, every sentence, every chapter.
I don’t know how you do it L.A. fiore but you’ve done it yet again. I love you, your imagination, your brain, your neutrons and your words… Thank you for writing this book.

PS: Have I mentioned that I love stories about a family’s history? Ooooooo I want to spill it but I’ll just leave you with this, ” Choose Love”. 😏

This is my first time reading a story written by this author and let me tell you I was by far impressed with the intensity of this story. The blurb is what attracted me to wanting to read this 5 star story.

When Alexis sees Greyson for the first time, she has a whole HEA mapped out in her head. Being raised in a foster home with only a picture of her biological parents she turns to creative writing. A very creative mind attracts Greyson, a senior. Greyson is only staying long enough to finish high school and then he’s off being an artist. A love that will last a few decades, until they can finally get their HEA.

A beautifully written that captured me from the first page read to the very last one. It was an highly captivating love story about 2 people destined to be together. It was quite an entertaining story that never had a dull moment. There was always something happening that kept me solely focused of this amazing read.

Standalone told in dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.

***5 ‘Love Looked Back’ Stars***

This book grabbed hold of my heart from the first words and did all kinds of crazy things to it as this epic love story unfolded. My heart ended up being pulled in so many directions it was crazy, it got all kinds swoony and twitterpated, it hurt so much it broke and at one point it wanted to grab a 2x4 and smack some sense into people. With this plethora of feels going on, it also had the effect of making me all kinds of teary ~ and it didn’t matter if it was because the situation was all kinds of swoon worthy or frustrating ~ water wanted to come out of my eyes (It was quite distressing since I was at work). But that was the effect this book, these characters ~ ALL of the characters ~ had on me and despite this strange onslaught of feels, I’d go through it all over again in a heartbeat.

I adored Alexis. This girl is strength personified because despite the hand fate has dealt her she still finds the goodness in it and shares it with those around her. But what I loved about her was how real she was. She was sweet and sassy and awkward and confident all at the same time and she owned it all and it was amazing.

Greyson. This guy has serious book boyfriend mojo going on. He was all kinds of sweet, flirty and yet had that alpha edge that drew you to him. He owned himself and was confident in who he was, but it never came off as him being full of himself. There was an openess in all that he did and I loved how he saw the world around him and those who inhabited it.

As I said in the beginning, this is an epic love story, from their first collision through the ups and downs of their life choices, as well as those that others brought about, to their ultimate HEA, it was absolutely obvious that they were meant for each other. The swoons were real when they were together, they flowed so well together that it was easy to get lost in them and watch as their connection grew stronger. Of course there are bumps, some are huge, some aren’t, but they happen and Alexis and Greyson navigate around and through them and get an amazing HEA in the end.

But no epic love story could be complete without the help of others and this book has an amazing supporting cast of characters. I can’t just pick one favorite, I can easily pick the ones I didn’t like. But regardless of my feelings towards them, they were all well written and really brought depth to the world and insight into who Alexis and Greyson really were and who they would eventually become.
I could go on and on, and into even more detail, about all that this book has to offer, but I’m going to cut myself off before spoilery stuff happens. Our Unscripted Story is simply everything you could want in a romance and more.

Wow what a beautifully written, heartbreaking and emotional story this is!!!

Just be aware that this book will suck you in and almost break you by the end of it, but it's such a beautiful sweet pain that the trip and emotional high is so very worth it.

LA Fiore has created a story that is about love, loss and friendship, it touches on some very adverse situations that can and do happen in real life. Her characters are put through so much pain and misery that I was a sobbing mess for a lot of this book but Alexis and Greyson are both such strong and wonderful characters that they can and do survive everything that gets thrown at them.

The writing flowed so well that I just couldn't put this book down, I became enraptured, captivated, I was totally and utterly addicted. I felt every hurt, pain and emotion. This has got to be in my top five ugly cry books ever.

I cannot express how much I loved this book but I also hated it with equal measure. Be sure to read this book with plenty of tissues, chocolate biscuits and lots of cups of hot tea as it will leave you so raw that you will need them to seek comfort in.

One of the best books that I have read so far this year and I highly recommend you put this on your TBR list. It's an amazing read.

This book broke my heart put it together and then broke it again into a billion pieces before putting it together again. What an amazing love story of trust and sacrifice. Our Unscripted Story is not only a love story between Alexis and Grayson but a love story about unconventional families.

This love story was not like any other I have read. From the beginning sacrifices for love were the main theme. From Sade, to Finn, to Grayson, to Alexis and so on. They all sacrificed so much because they loved so strongly.

One of the things I truly loved about this story is the sweet, slow burn love between Alexis and Grayson. I loved that although at a young age they were in love, they followed their dreams. They worked hard for their goals and made them a reality and eventually found their way to one another. Another thing I loved is that they both found their escape through the arts. The power of art is truly amazing and it allows for creativity and uniqueness.

I am truly still trying to formulate full thoughts as I literally just finished reading this book. All in all, to sum it up - this is one of the sweetest, heart breaking, slow burn love stories I have ever read. An emotional roller coaster from beginning to the end.

I just don't know where to begin to let you guys know how amazingly awesome this book is. I so totally loved this. The way L.A. writes will draw you in and have you not wanting to put this book down. The budding relationship between Alexis and Greyson was so perfect and to read how their lives entwined and evolved over the years was a sight to see. All the emotions you will feel while reading this book will make you wonder if you have ever felt them before. This book has topped my list of favorites this year and will be one that I will re-read a million times. This is definitely a more than 5 star read, it should be given 10 stars.
