An absolutely adorable graphic novel that had me smiling from ear to ear on every page. Must read for anyone looking for a lifted mood.

Little Moments of Love is yes, without a doubt, a collection of these sugary moments of love. I've been seeing Catana's works online before and I was surprised that she has now published this as a full book. What I love about this one is how it's so cutteeee and can make you warm and fuzzy on the inside. Such mundane acts can really feel so much more when you're with the one you love. I fairly love the entirety of this comic book but I don't really feel the need to buy it or reread it for that matter. Congratulations though to the author for finally making it to a full comic book, readers will surely love. This is a free ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited to see that this book was being published, I love Catana'swork and this certainly didn't disappoint. Funny, heartwarming, and so incredibly relatable, I cannot wait to own a physical copy of this.

If you don’t recognize the name Catana, you would probably still recognize the cute little odd-couple moments comics. I love the backstory behind the invention of the comics—how Catana started drawing their little relationship moments for her boyfriend and he encouraged her to put them on the internet. Both were surprised to find out how many odd, happy couples could relate to it. Less than 2 years after drawing the first comic, she has now compiled them into a book. Instead of just texting or sharing a comic to your significant other to say “Hey, that’s us”, you can now get them a “thinking of you” book. I received this as an electronic ARC from NetGalley so I am not sure what size the hardcopy will be. The drawings are pretty simple and some of the topics were repetitive, but it’s the thought that counts. This should bring smiles.

I love Catana's comics, and have been eagerly awaiting this book ever since I first heard about it. It did not disappoint. Sure, I'd seen most of the comics before on her tumblr, but having them together in one place for easy perusal still made it totally worth it :-D

Catana and John are so cute together without being overly sappy or unbelievable. There were more than a few comics I had to show my husband, because "this is US!!!", and I finished the collection with a happy smile on my face.

My only complaint? It's too short!

Thanks to Andrews McMeel Publishing for the ARC!

I love this book. I didn't know the artist before, but I'll definitely follow her on instagram after this. Her comics are so adorable, cute and funny! I think everyone can relate to at least a few of these situations. I agree with the other reviewer who said that it would make a great Valentine's Day gift.

In the tradition of Sarah’s Scribbles and others I’ve been looking for cutesy little comic books, and Little Moments of Love was one of them. I had seen some of them passing by on facebook but I wasn’t really familiar with her work.

The style is quite nice, and so are the comics, I just thought it was a bit too much of the same after a while. Quite a lot (almost all) of the comics are about how she and her boyfriend love each other, and it gets repetitive after a while.

Still nice, but a bit of variation would have been better!

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for providing me with a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!

The comic was probably the cutest way to show you love someone. It was a light read but some of the messages run deep in any relationship. What makes little moment of love stand out is its comic form. Most love stories are all words and no picture which is fine but with little moments of love you get the visual aspect to it which makes it more real.

I've seen the comics they've made on Facebook, so when I saw this was being turned into a graphic novel, I had to take a look! These comics are so whimsical and cute.
Little Moments of Love depicts the every day moments that a couple has with each other. From the cute, the hilarious, and the complete truth of how long term relationships work.

This is absolutely adorable. Charming, heart-warming, all the words that aren't often used in my reviews. I think this book will offer many people hope for what relationships can be like, and is a sweet thing to flick through with your significant other around an anniversary (which was when and how I read this galley). Definitely recommend.

I thought the drawings were really cute it kind of reminded me of the precious moments that used to be in the newspaper but i thought these were really closer to reality than the ones on the newspaper and definitely funnier.

Let's be real. I knew I would love this going into it. I had already seen some of her work and was already a fan. So it is unsurprising that I found this adorable and completely relatable, but there it is. I would recommend this to all my friends. The art and moments are just perfect. Warm and fuzzy!

I picked this up because I’d seen and enjoyed some of the comics on Twitter before, and this collection seemed very much in the same vein as the Sarah Scribbles collections, which I love. That turns out to be partway true.

Ms. Chetwynd’s very first comic was about her relationship with her boyfriend, so it’s no surprise that that’s the same material almost all of the comics are about. It’s cute, sure, but I think it’s also the reason so many of them fell flat for me, since many of the relationship topics aren’t universal but more specific to them. The multiple comics about their height differences, for example, didn’t resonate for me since my husband and I are pretty much the same height.

It’s also tooth-achingly sweet and a bit too cutesy for me. I think college-me would’ve eaten this up, but I’m an old grump (with kids!) now, so it was just too much of the same thing. She likes cuddling her boyfriend, spending time with him, she even misses him when he’s asleep – and that’s about it. It’s pretty one-note, and if you’re not into “aww-ing” over how cute the couple is together, you’re going to be bored. There’s one comic about the differences when they argue, but that’s pretty much the only indication that their relationship is anything other than sugary sweet. And, I mean, I get it – with something so very autobiographical, you don’t necessarily want to hang everything out there for the world to see, but it seemed unbalanced to me to show all the fluffy happy bits and nothing else.

The art is simple and absolutely adorable. Ms. Chetwynd has an easily identifiable style that fits the content perfectly.

Overall, I got a few giggles out of this, but I think I’m too much of a crusty cynical old fogey to enjoy this properly. I think this would be a great gift for a couple in the ooey gooey relationship stage, though!

An adorable collection of comics drawn by the author to imitate the relationship between her and her boyfriend. I had a smile on my face the whole way through it, and found myself laughing out loud a few times. I also found myself connecting to many of the situations portrayed, as so many of them are pretty common for almost any couple to have gone through at some point.

Really just a happy and feel good read that showcases some of the absurdities of being in a relationship, but also portraying those moments of love and appreciation that keep us going.

Recommended if you enjoy depictions of real-life relationship funniness, and are just in need of a good laugh and a smile.
