I popped out of bed real quick when I saw this was a Read Now title. Didn't realize it was only a sneak peak until after I downloaded it, but I'm still so happy I got to read some of it a bit early. Just from the few chapters I read I can see myself loving this book. It's got the beginnings of everything I love, strong female friendships and witchcraft.

This is going to be a great book. Can't wait for the full version.
The characters are interesting and the plot seems mesmerizingly deviant.

This was such an interesting opening! I was absolutely totally invested in the story and I now have to know more! I do wish the excerpt had included the part about Riley actually coming back because I do want to know how that goes. Can't wait to read the rest!

Oh my gosh! I've never read anything like this before. It's only been six chapters but i'm already so hooked and so attached to Mila. I love how much she loves Riley and how she acts on it. I can't wait to hopefully get the chance to read the whole novel. The topic of the novel isn't exactly considered as light but Mila's narration made it so much easier to follow. Lily's writing is fantastic and gets you hooked immediately. If you love witchcraft you're going to love this! And if you don't or simply aren't too familiar with the subject (I know I wasn't), give it a shot!

Wow! This sneak peek was awesome, and I'm already hooked! Mila is a breath of fresh air in the YA genre. She speaks her mind, and she stands up for what she thinks is right. I can't wait to read on, and see where this book goes.

Fortunately, Riley and Mila used to spend their free time dabbling in witchcraft, mostly blessings for good luck on tests, or activating crystals, like the one Riley wears every day. The police refuse to investigate Riley’s “suicide” — so Mila takes things into her own hands.

When Mila raises Riley from the grave to help solve her own murder, Mila inadvertently raises the other two girls from her school, but they all have lost their memories of before they died. They form a team and work to find out why they all ended up dead, and if it was murder, who did it.

This book is equal parts fun and slightly eerie, and if you like teen detectives with lots of sass, you’ve got to pick up Undead Girl Gang.

I liked the sneak peek of "Undead Girl Gang" and hope to read the completed novel soon. I like the story's premise and Mila's narration was fun to follow so far. What I didn't like all that much was her crush, simply because I prefer novels without too much romance.

A great beginning to what looks to be a very unique and engaging novel. I love everything about the prose: the writing style is fantastic at drawing the reader in and conjuring up imagery, at drawing the reader in and making them laugh one moment and simultaneously connect with Mila's pain the next. I could picture every scene vividly, and loved the experience of it.

I'll be picking up a copy of the full book at some point, and can't wait to do so.

Sad to see this snippet end. Wanted it to continue so I could see what happens and how it ends. Great start to a great series.
