A beautifully illustrated book about a baby bear that doesn't want to wake up after hibernating. Follows in the vein of other children's books and not scientifically correct in any way, but that's fine. The other animals brought in were cute and it was a cute way of showing a diverse group of animals coming together.

My four year old absolutely loved this adorable follow up to Baby Bear's Not Hibernating Anymore. Highly recommended to both parents and children who enjoy stories with underlying lessons around friendship, team working, and parenting. Looking forward to reading more of Lynn Plourde's books.

This is a wonderful companion book to Lynn Plourde's "Baby Bear's Not Hibernating." Baby Bear is so tired because he did not get to sleep early enough in the winter. His parent's can't wake him, so they head off to get food with the hope that he will wake up when they get back. While they are gone, Baby Bear's friends come to visit and while trying to wake him, he ends up tumbling out of the cave and down a hill. Once again, he gets himself in a situation that all works out in the end with the help of his friends and family.

This is a gorgeous picture book with wonderful illustrations done in watercolour. It is a cute story that could be used for children as a bedtime story but also teach about getting a proper night's rest, what happens to bears in spring, and helping out your friends. I read this book to my grandson and he enjoyed the story, especially Baby Bear's snoring. He liked the pictures as well. I can easily see this book becoming a family favourite along with the other Baby Bear book.

I would recommend this book for family libraries, pre-school classes and primary schools. This book will become a well loved story to be read over and over. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was a really cute book! The illustrations were done very well and seemed very real. The story was really good and children will love it. I also enjoyed the facts at the end about bears. This book will be a great addition to a classroom lesson bears or a library storytime. Children will learn from it and enjoy the story as well.

I really liked this story. It seems for those maybe 7 and under. It is type of book I would read to my daughter when she was younger as well as the young kids I see at the court daycare! Story illustrations are great shows many animals of the winter getting along

A big thank you to NetGalley and Rowman and Littlefield for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I found this to be a cute, different story with imaginative art. Kids will enjoy all the different animals. A great bedtime story. Animals working together, and helping unexpectedly. Cute and fun. I date it a solid 4.

I liked this little story! baby Bear stayed up past his bedtime in the fall and now mama bear, papa bear and his other animal friends can't wake him up! Fast asleep, no matter what they do baby bears snores on- even after rolling down a hill, being tickled, even having a robin's nest built on his tummy! Mother robin steps up to wake him which causes some momentary concern, but all ends well. Little ones will enjoy this story. Nice one for a spring story time on bears or birds!
