I LOVED Nick and Stella!! Such a cute setup and Nicola’s writing is phenomenal! Super fun, keeps you entertained, and well-written. Everything you want in a story!

Quick smutty read for me. Really trope filled but I didn’t mind. Overall was pretty enjoyable and I would pick up Nicola Rendell again.

A sinfully enjoyable read. The characters are well written and the storyline was developed. And don't be surprised if you're left fanning yourself while reading it...

A few years ago I read and adored Nicola Rendell’s Just Like That, and ever since I’ve been meaning to read more of the author’s work. After reading Shimmy Bang Sparkle, I’m annoyed it took me so long. I adored this one, devouring it in no time at all. Now I’m finished, I plan to go and devour the rest of Nicola Rendell’s books.

Shimmy Bang Sparkle had so much to it. Wonderful characters, an addictive storyline, insane chemistry, plenty of laugh out loud moments, and all the goodness a romance book should have. I fell deeply in love with everything, and once I started I could not put it down. I was giggling away, wearing a stupid smile, and never wanted the book to end.

In fact, it’s more a four-point-five-star rating. I’m very selective with my five-star ratings, and the reason I didn’t give this a five-star rating is because certain elements towards the end of this one I saw coming early in the book. It was not enough to take away my enjoyment, but I had been hoping for a surprise to appear.

All in all, Shimmy Bang Sparkle is more than worth the read for romance fans.

This was my first time reading one of Nicola Rendell’s books, but you can bet it definitely won’t be my last! In her bio, she says she writes “naughty romantic comedies” and that is sooooo accurate and it’s the perfect way to describe this book!

SHIMMY BANG SPARKLE was deliciously sexy and naughty, but soooooo funny and sweet, too! Stella and Nick were amazing and their chemistry was on fire...a few chapters in and these two had me swooning and giggling. I loved both of them apart, but I really loved what they brought out in each other! Special mention goes to the adorable dog Queen, Priscilla! I absolutely loved all of the parts where Priscilla was with Stella and Nick, they were too cute! It made me remember just how much I love dogs in books.

Along with the wonderful romance aspect of SHIMMY BANG SPARKLE, the story itself was amazing! I loved the idea of a jewel heist and I loved that Stella belonged to gang of female jewel thieves. The dynamics between her and her besties, Ruth and Roxie, fellow members of the Shimmy Shimmy Bangs were fantastic!

And the heist...wooowwweee! I’m not going to tell you about it because I think you need to read about it yourself, but I loved seeing the plans come together and how detailed everything was. Mostly I just loved seeing Nick and Stella fall further and further in love during it. *dreamy sigh*

Overall, I loved SHIMMY BANG SPARKLE! If you’re a fan of steamy romances where the characters have amazing banter and chemistry, or if you just straight-up love romantic comedies and sexy books, I definitely recommend this one! And if you’re a fan of romances and heist films separately, definitely check this one out! I don’t mind heist films, but I feel like this sexy romance aspect is the part that would make me go from liking them to loving them. I always love what a good ol’ romance brings to a story. 😉

As every Nicola Rendell novel does, this one left me speechless, laughing and a bit sweaty. I adore everything she writes. Nick and Stella have absolutely incredible chemistry and I could not put this one down!!!

DNF - I tried to read this one multiple times, as well as listen to it on audiobook. I could not connect with the characters.

I loved this story by Nicola Rendell. Nick is an ex con who was just released from prison and looking forward to starting over. Stella is is a thief like Nick but she steals not for herself but to help others. When Nick spies Stella in a jewelry store and knowing what she plans to do he can't help himself and follows her in. He is instantly smitten with her. He finds himself helping her pull off the biggest heist ever. Nick puts everything on the line for her including his freedom. This is a wonderful story that will make you laugh, swoon and make you believe in love at first sight.

This is an author that I keep coming back to. She is undoubtedly talented, with a fresh writing style and stories that are invariably original, witty, fun and steamy. Shimmy Bang Sparkle had all these elements, and somehow I haven't been able to take off with it. This is one is just not resonating with me at the moment, sometimes a book that hits all your usual buttons is just not for "right now." I will come back to it, but for now I give it four stars because I have enjoyed all her other books and because what I have read so far of this book has been quite good.

Loved this book! Loved how they met! Loved the chemistry! Hated Mr. Cheeto fingers. I would definitely recommend to a friend and think it's worth the read!

I tried this book for months...months and it just didn't keep my interest in between other books. I might pick it up again because I ADORE this author but right now I think I I'll hold off.

When I saw the cover and read the blurb I was like yep need to read this. Jewel thieves hello going for the last Big Bang!

This was a fun read and I enjoyed it, but I also felt like something was missing. I can’t put my finger on it exactly, but I think it has to do with long descriptions.

Now this does have it’s hilarious moments. I liked both characters and the idea of them together, but I didn’t feel the chemistry. Nick was it for me. He was very swoon worthy.

While I didn’t love it, I did like parts of it and still would recommend it as it was funny. Nicole has talent for sure and will be reading another book by her.

Nicola Rendell has been an author on my TBR list for a while now. So, when Shimmy Band Sparkle can available to read, I jumped at it. I have to tell you, I was less than impress. I just didn’t connect with the storyline or the characters in this book.

Some books are hits for people, and some books are misses for people. This one was a total miss for me. I will try Nicola Rendell again simply because I know people love her. But this was not the book for me.

I really enjoyed this book! It had everything that I like in a book. For instance, the romance was there and humor was good too. I really liked the personality of the male lead!

Nick and Stella's characters were sooooo perfect for each other. I love love love Nicola Rendell books. They're really fun, engaging and have so much depth in them. Nick wants to change his ways, keep a low profile but then he sees this woman, he's totally taken to her but she is doing the unthinkable, and he wants in. He's found his perfect woman. He's protective of her, he's really taken with her. Stella doesn't want any distractions, even if its hunky, hot Nick....

I loved this story, it was a little heartbreaking, but loved every bit of it. Nicola Rendell's storytelling is phenomenal. Never a dull or boring moment in her books.

This was my first read by this author. I was immediately drawn in by the blurb. It’s not every day you get to read about jewel thieves!

Nick and Stella were perfect together! This book had it all. A perfect blend of sexy, sweet and fun.

I will definitely be checking out more from this author in the future.

Ok, I just want to start by saying I’m a LOT in love this book, everything just captured my attention and I couldn’t get enough, ahhh.

When I first read the blurb to this book it grabbed my attention and I knew it would be something that I would want to read, something I knew I would love and I was right, so very right. Johnny James being the cover model MAY have been the extra pull I needed because damn, that man is stunning.

Shimmy Bang Sparkle is so different from any other kind of book I’ve read. It’s not your typical romance, it’s not your typical anything. It’s unexpected and really quite amazing.

Nick and Stella are two unbelievable characters. Their story is intriguing. I’ve never read a story that involved heists and I’m quite glad theirs was my first. Their relationship was adorable, I adore how much love they both have, I loved how much of a match they are for each other. I also loved pricilla, I loved the element she brought to the book along with the other secondary characters. I just adore a beautiful fur baby being a main part of a book along with the humans.

I gotta admit though my heart broke and shattered when it was nearing the end not only with what happened but at the thought of the book ending because when a book hooks you in as much as this did you NEVER want it to end. Nicola Rendell did an incredible job on this book hands down.

This is my first read by this author and definitely won’t be my last. Nicola managed to grab my attention from the get go and take me into the world of Nick and Stella, a world I won’t be forgetting any time soon.

Welcome to the world of jewel heists!!! Nick Norton freshly released from prison catches Stella Peretti attempting to steal some bling bling. Even though he is now trying to stay out of trouble he can't resist the sexiness of all that is Stella. Stella is one part of a renown jewel heist group The Shimmy Shimmy Bangs. So when she is one woman left standing after an unfortunate incident that puts her team mates out of commission for that one... last... heist well then it's a perfect opportunity for Nick to step in to assist.

What a cheeky couple those two make as they try to Robynhood and plan a major jewel heist. What ensues is lots of drama and an amazing set of secondary characters that add flavor to the book. Nick and Stella's chemistry is off the charts. Nick is a sexy bad ass alpha whose blood is burning for Stella's sassiness. Being who they are it was touch and go to see them achieve their HEA. Thankfully this a romance book so all those hurdles were much needed for the plot.

So if you enjoyed movies like The Italian Job or all female Ocean's 8 then you will for sure enjoy this quick read full of action.

OMG this book gave me serious anxiety! I just loved Stella and Nick so much that it made me a nervous wreck to read about their plans and how everything unfolded! I loved their chemistry and connection. I look forward to reading more from Nicola Rendell in the future.
