Sharon Sala does not disappoint with this continuation of her Blessings, Georgia series. The intertwining of characters makes one feel as if they are returning home. Southern charm, a sense of community, and a much wanted recipe for excellent biscuits has me hooked!

This is a wonderful second chance romance in a small town. Full of small town gossip and rumors. With true love and forgiveness the characters find a chance at fresh starts and happiness. Sharon Sala continues her series on the town and people of Blessings, Georgia and I'm thankful she does.

This is an enjoyable read. It’s a second chance romance with some mystery in it. I loved the humor. It’s a small town romance with all the requisite busy bodies. I received an advance review copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this story. It’s part of a series but I didn’t have any problems reading it as a stand alone. It’s a sweet story and the characters were enjoyable.

This story brings us back to Blessings, Ga. Aidan and Phoebe were high school sweethearts who were torn apart by events beyond their control. Phoebes Mother and Uncle blamed Aidan’s Father for a fire that started in his Fathers hardware store and spread to the bakery owned by her family. Phoebes Father was killed in the fire. The end result is Aidan and Phoebe breaking up and Aidan and his Father leaving town.

Twenty years later Aidan is returning to Blessings after his Grandfathers death. Aidan is a successful restaurant owner in New Orleans. Phoebe has spent the last 20 years a single Mother to her son Lee.

If you are looking for a feel good read this book is for you. It is part of a series but could easily be read on its own. It is filled with romance, great characters and some moments when you might want a box of Kleenex handy. The author captures the feeling of a small town perfectly. There is a new character introduced towards the end of the book that I suspect will be the subject of the next story. I always look forward to reading a new book in this series, I recommend them all. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy of this book.

This continues Sala’s series about a small Georgia town where the good people are very good, even though they suffer setbacks in life, they persevere and, with the help of the community, manage to survive. This is the type of small town where, if someone is in need, a chain of calls go out and food, necessities, clothes, and gifts show up. And the bad people in this community are quite bad, usually doing something to harm the good ones, but eventually getting what they deserve.

The couple in this novel, Phoebe and Aidan, are separated by tragic circumstances when they are teenagers. When they are reunited almost 20 years later, Aidan is shocked to find out that he fathered a son whom Phoebe and his own grandfather never told him about. I like secret baby plots, but it seems really sad and unjust to keep such a secret. But he gets over that and doesn’t blame Phoebe because he realizes that he bears some fault himself. And his son, Lee, is the most perfect 18-year-old kid anyone could ever imagine. Although Phoebe has been knocked down by life, she hasn’t let setbacks keep her down. She raised this wonderful young man and they have a very sweet relationship that is lovely to read about.

There are subplots involving the actions of the bad people that seem to show up in this town in every Sala novel before they’re driven out.

I really enjoyed this book, but I do hate the idea of Aidan and Lee having missed knowing each other because of Phoebe’s stubbornness. That wasn’t fair to her son or to Aidan whom she knew was a good person and deserved to know. It wasn’t even that she couldn’t reach him since she knew his grandfather in the town and forced him to keep that secret. That’s another action I can’t really forgive - she shouldn’t have forced a grandfather to keep that sort of secret from a much-loved grandson.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

This is part of the Blessings, Georgia series. Tragedy, hatred, and unfounded accusations tear apart the families of Aidan Payne and Phoebe Ritter resulting in the Payne family moving away. Twenty years later, Aidan returns to Blessings to settle his grandfather's estate expecting nothing but to sell and never return. What he finds instead will change his life and those around him forever.

Sharon Sala brings all the familiar faces of Blessings in this story to remind us of the mixed blessings of living in a small town where everyone knows each other and their business. We follow Aidan and Phoebe on their journey from the past that shaped their present and how their actions will affect their future. It was comforting being familiar with the town's residents from previous books in the series. It is a sweet story of love, family, forgiveness, and new beginnings.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for review.
I like to read something a bit different from my mystery detective novels alot of the time. So I read second chance books!
This one was a good one! I started it yesterday afternoon and I'm already finished. Could not put it down and stayed up until after 2am reading. Lol
I almost made it but finally had to sleep!
Sharon Sala is always good but this one surpassed the others in my opinion!!
Far better than most second chance books I have read bu any author.
Way to go!!

Another great book by Sharon Sala. I loved this story line. This book cover approximately 25 years as the main characters meet in high school. You will love all of the characters and the ending of the story

Come Back to Me is in the Blessings, GA series, and while you don't have to read the other books in the series first, it would help. Aiden and Phoebe were high school sweethearts, but tragedy and parental influence tore them apart. 20 years later, another tragedy gives them a second chance.
I should preface this by saying I personally do not care for second chance romances, but love this series, and in the other second chance books written by this author, I did not have the problem that usually makes me not like the second chance trope. However, this one did. While Aiden never got over Phoebe enough to have a serious relationship with anyone else, he still did have them, and pretty quickly after he left Phoebe--who, stayed faithful to him for 20 years. This just really bothered me. Also, Phoebe had his son and never told him. I find that unforgivable. And that was also the reasoning behind why she never moved on--because she was raising their son. As someone who was a young single mother, I find that logic faulty. I love this author and have loved all her books, and while I loved seeing the other people in Blessings, the story really didn't work for me. I am excited for what I think the next one will be, based on the "setup" of the last few chapters. This was written well, so if you like the second chances, you'll like this--it just wasn't for me.

Phoebe has waited almost 20years for Aiden to Come Back to Me. An ill-timed criminal act and narcissistic family members led Phoebe and Aiden to break up and Aiden to leave town. Unbeknownst to both of them at the time, Phoebe was pregnant. Twenty years later, Aiden returns home following his grandfather’s death to find out he has a grown son. The story takes us through the mystery of who really caused the fire that killed Phoebe’s father that started a chain reaction of other events. By the end of the book, the mystery has been solved and Phoebe and Aiden have reunited.

Sharon Sala writes excellent romances that will make you feel good and happy. Her town of Blessings, GA is a happy place, until a fire that started in his father’s store kills another man.
Phoebe and her family blame Aiden’s father, the man who owned the store where the fire seems to have started blame his father for the fire and the death of her father. Aiden’s father was in financial difficulties and it appears he may have burned down his own store for the insurance money.
Aiden and his mother leave town under a shadow and he spends the next twenty years working as a clerk in a grocery store. When he returns to the little town he finds that he is a father to Phoebe’s son Lee, a fine young man.
The mystery of who actually started the fire and why weaves its way through the book but does not overwhelm the story of a second chance romance.
I love Sharon Sala’s Blessings, GA stories. Just enough angst and more than enough romance to keep the reader satisfied to the HEA ending.

Aiden left Blessings, GA with a shadow in his heart. The town turned their backs on his family when a fire in his father’s shop ends with a death. Twenty years later he returns to settle his recently deceased grandfather’s affairs and find several surprises. ARC from Net Galley.

If you are ready to settle into another feel good series romance by Sharon Sala, Come Back to Me is for you! Sala takes us back to her fictional town of Blessings, Georgia where we meet Aidan and Phoebe. High school sweethearts torn apart when a fire started in his father’s store kills her father. Aidan’s family feels betrayed by the town’s reaction and decides to move away. Twenty years later, Aidan is a successful restaurant owner in New Orleans and returns to Blessings to deal with his grandfather’s estate. When he arrives he meets his son.
Phoebe has spent the last twenty years of her life working at the Piggly Wiggly and raising her son, Lee. Lee is a college student on a full ride scholarship but home for the summer. Phoebe and Lee must decide whether to let Aidan into their lives or continue on as they have been living.

As always, Sharon Sala has hit the right note with this book. It is full of feel good moments, but with enough sub-stories thrown in to keep you updated on everyone in the town of Blessings. Sala also manages to weave in life-threatening situations and small town eccentric characters. There is also an exciting introduction to a new character, Dan, who I really hope is the star of the next book. If you read my reviews, you know I like series and this is no different being book number six of Sala’s Blessings, Georgia series. If you haven’t read this series and you like sweet romances, try this book!
