I love this one. Such a different biker book. To Have and to Harley is funny and sexy. Trey and the rest of The Shadows are rough around the edges yet all show a bit of a soft side too. Bethany is sweet and trying to help out her best friend plan her wedding. I love how Bethany tests Trey once he comes into the picture. Who would have thought a bunch of bikers who skirt the law can get so into wedding planning. That part is like the best. I laughed several times over these bada$$ bikers and the wedding plans they come up with. There is no denying the chemistry between Bethany and Trey. I love how well they work together and boy are they hot together. Such a fabulous read. I can't wait for more Biker and Brides to come.

I am thankful to the publisher and NetGalley for the complimentary copy, but this book was just not for me. While I loved the premise of the novel (a big bad biker planning a wedding), everything was one big lie, and that was my hangup. I thought the writing was okay, albeit clunky at times.

I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book was nothing like I expected. Sounded cute but it was just a little too OTT for me.

I enjoyed the sweet premise of To Have and to Harley but the book was all over the place--silly and serious. The plot seemed a bit unnecessarily convoluted. I did like the heroine and hero but found this one tough to finish.

Many thanks to NetGalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

To Have and to Harley, is a wonderful unique story. I've truly never read one like this. Just the idea of big, bad biker dudes acting like wedding coordinators is enough to make my sides hurt from laughing so hard.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

I must admit that the blurb for To Have and to Harley was what reeled me in. The concept of Bikers planning a wedding and all that entails had me intrigued. What I did find overwhelming was the number of plot threads throughout this story, which resulted in the book being much longer than necessary.

That said, there were fun moments and overall I enjoyed the story, so I’m interested to see where the series goes from here.

I chose this book based on the synopsis of the story. It sounded great! And it was - mostly - just a few parts I felt were a bit drawn out and could have been skipped over.
Trey has always thought his birth mother abandoned him, but he learns (as an adult) he was abducted as a baby and never found. His actual birth mother has always been looking for him. When he meets her, in an effort to impress her and seem good enough, he pretends he is a wedding planner. She hires him to coordinate her daughter's (his sister's) wedding. here is where he meets his sister's best friend - Bethany. She doesn't believe he is a wedding planner.
These two cannot fight there attraction and start 'dating' or sleeping together - however you view it. Bethany at one point believes he is an undercover police officer and the story spirals from here.
This book does end with a happily ever after which I enjoyed.
Overall, this is as sweet romance book.
This is my first book by this author. This is the first book in this series as well.

An enjoyable and quirky romance. I am ready for more bikers and brides.

MC books aren't normally my cup-of-tea, but I enjoyed this quirky romance. Trey Harding, leader of the Iron Shadows MC gang, spent his whole life knowing that he was abandoned in a bathroom as a child. His whole life is based upon knowing no one wanted him and then being tossed from foster home to foster home until he could get out the system, until he found his "family" in the Shadows.

Trey knows exactly who he is until a PI comes to him to let him know that DNA taken when he was arrested a few months ago was used to determine that Trey was actually born Samuel Yelverton and Trey has a family who has been searching for him for decades. That young Trey/Samuel was kidnapped as a child by his babysitter, one who then dumped him to be found in a bathroom when the police got too close.

Now the man who has always been alone and who thought he was thrown away like trash has to come to terms with the fact that he has a loving mother who never gave up hope of finding him and a sister as well, and that they have been living just a town away from him all these years.

It has knocked him off balance, which is why Trey couldn't tell the the sweet woman who welcomed him with open arms that he was the leader of a motorcycle gang. And that is the only excuse for how Trey is suddenly finding himself, and his men, become wedding planners. Panic, and a sudden need to please his...mommy. So his mouth threw out the first thing that popped into his head. Of course, if he hadn't been looking at that wedding magazine, he might have come up with something more believable.

But here he is, looking at the beautiful blue eyes of the maid-of-honor and his sister's best friend, pretending that he knows all about coordinating weddings. Well, he and The Iron Shadows are going to figure this out because there is no way he is disappointing his mo--Mrs. Yelverton nor the woman with such innocent eyes.

He only needs to rangle a bunch of rough and brawling bikers into putting together a wedding.

To Have and to Harley is the start of a fish-out-of-water romantic series. It was funny to see these tough bikers whole-heartedly taking on the project of a wedding and putting their whole hearts into it.

There is also the sweet romance between Trey and Bethany.  As an army brat, Bethany had a hard time making friends.  Until Sarah Yelverton declared them best friends, and Beth was all but adopted by Sarah's parents, Bethany only had her Dad in her life and when he passed, she was lost.  Now Trey and Bethany are both overwhelmed by their feelings and are aware the awkwardness of bringing it out to Trey's family.

There is a little nonsence that you have to overlook to make the story work, such as why Sarah is getting married in the middle of finishing pharmacy school and the added pressure of taking the important state licensing boards.  That's not enough, so let's add in a big wedding?  In only a few short months.  And let's hire someone else to do everything, including picking the wedding dress, because she simply has no time and is under a lot of pressure.  You couldn't wait until things settled down and have a Christmas wedding?    Then she has a melt down about suddenly having a brother and he's taking her mother's attention from her, and how Trey isn't focusing enough attention on the wedding...Take it down, Bridezilla?   Really, if you are not unexpectedly expecting a baby, there really was no need to rush this wedding except to bring about the story plot.

The ending leaves it open for more possible wedding fiascos.  I am definitely going to be on the look out for the next story to see where the series goes.

Someone on Twitter brought this book to my attention, and I mean, come on, a biker gang who winds up as accidental wedding planners? That sounds hilarious!

And it was, mostly.

Bethany is asked by her best friend to help plan her wedding, and she of course says yes.

Trey was dumped at a gas station as a baby, and left. He grew up in the system, and had a rough life. Now he runs the Iron Shadows, and he knows that sometimes the family you make is the only family you need. Until a private investigator shows up and tells him that his mother has been looking for him.

How can he reconcile the mother in his head who dumped him in a gas station bathroom with the saint of a woman who’s been looking for him since he was kidnapped? She even built and named a youth center after him, for crying out loud! How can he live up to the kind of expectations a woman like her must have? He panics and after seeing all the wedding magazines on her table, he tells her he’s a wedding planner.

You guys, it’s hysterical. He’s adorable and his guys are so sweet and cute trying to get the wedding planning off to a good start. These interactions were the absolute best parts of the book.

However, please suspend belief, because these bikers do not act like any bikers I’ve ever met (and I’ve only ever met nice ones, not “turf owning” ones), and definitely not like a motorcycle gang.

Trey and the Shadows are like a Robin Hood type gang. They beat the crap out of anybody who bothers to sell drugs on their turf, and they take care of their neighborhood. I’m okay with that. They find out someone is dealing meth on their streets and they aim to take care of them, but it goes deeper than just a dealer. It’s a whole operation.

Bethany doesn’t believe for one second that this biker looking guy is a wedding planner, so she agrees to let him help in order to expose him as someone trying to swindle her friend. She finds out soon enough that Trey isn’t trying to swindle anyone, and the DNA test proved he is indeed her friend’s brother, but that doesn’t mean she trusts him.

Sigh.

And Trey doesn’t give her any reason to.

These two characters lie a lot. And you know, that didn’t even bother me. When Trey and Bethany begin getting serious, she finally wants to know what’s going on. With his explanation, she assumes he’s an undercover cop. It’s easier for him to let her believe that, since he doesn’t feel he deserves any of this. The amazing mom, the great girl, the life he missed out on. He just lets it go. And again I’m actually okay with that!

What did bother me? Bethany. Not the whole book or anything, I liked her up until this point. She blows his cover like 3 times. And yes I know he isn’t a real undercover cop, but she believes he is. And she tells everyone. She calls him and gets so twisted over the fact he can’t call back. Okay here’s the deal. I have real life experience here, so it irritated me. And I’d like to point out that anyone who has ever watched any form of Law & Order or CSI knows that if someone is undercover, they can’t always answer the phone. Anyone who is married to a cop knows this. It drove me nuts.

The other big thing that bothered me? Trey had a couple massive freak outs when he stayed the night with Bethany because his biker gang couldn’t handle their crap while he was gone. Seriously. These guys he rides with, fights with, etc and he what, has to babysit them?! Nope.

What I wish I’d seen more of was the guys wedding planning. This author shines when she’s going for light and fun. Anything serious felt contrived. But her lighthearted fun worked. I could absolutely see this book as a Rom Com movie. Seriously. I want to read the next book to see where this goes, but if the fun isn’t there, I don’t see myself continuing on with this series. Fingers crossed the next book is lighthearted and fun!

Loved this story.. I read the entire story in one night. Tray just learned that he was not abandoned by his mother as he was lead to believe growing up. He learns that the nurse his family hired to help them make sure he gained weight properly (he was a not gaining weight as a baby), had stolen him from his family. He is now the leader of a motorcycle gang that protects others women and children from being hurt. It had me laughing at the all the crazy things his gang members doing to help make is biological sister's wedding perfect. Bethany just quit her job due to the owner does not want her to fire his niece (who thinks she can do anything she wants). If she fires the owner's niece, she would also be fired. Bethany finally has had it with her boss and quits without giving him two weeks notice. Bethany best friend's family adopted her as one of their own when her dad died. She learns that her best friend's older brother has been found - but is shocked when she meets the 6'5" man in person. She is attracted to him - but wants to fight her attraction. She does not trust him - she wants to protect the family from being hurt further - as well has catch Trey in the lie he told his biological mom about the type of work he does. The reader will be drawn into the story immediately - and cheer for the characters.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Trey is a biker in a motor cycle club. He's tall, tough, scared and tattooed. He thought he was all alone in the world except his brother's in the club. He thought wrong. Turns out Trey has some blood relatives he never knew about and they know nothing about his past. And he doesn't know how to tell them so he lies and tells me he's he organizes weddings. Which is hilarious in a way but extremely unrealistic in another. It leads to a while mess of trouble that involves Trey meeting his other half, Bethany.

Bethany is a friend of his families. She recently lost her job and ends up being hired to plan her best friend's wedding. Enter Trey, who gets roped into helping. They both have alot of internal issues with their respective families and feel like a good match for each other.

Again, I really disliked that Trey said he organized weddings. It threw me for a curve and just plain annoyed me. It felt like an unrealistic way for the author to have Trey meet and spend time with Bethany. And a way to add drama. That's it. And it's the major plot point. It's on the back of the book. I thought it would be an interesting plot twist when I requested to read the book but it just seems silly when reading it.

Another issue I had is it seems that this book is in the middle of the series when its the first book. It makes references to events that happen before the book. I even looked to see if there were other books before it in the series but there weren't.

Overall, I thought the book was ok but not great. It is definitely not my favorite biker book ever. I wouldn't recommend the book, but I'm not disappointed I read it.

The title of this book made me curious... the blurb made me wonder... the story made me laugh and cry... Although the story was maybe a bit farfetched, it was funny and emotional as well. We meet Trey Harding, a rough biker with tattoos all over the place. His rough appearance and his biker crew scare a lot of people away. Being raised as an orphan, because his mother abandoned him as a baby, Trey is bitter and mistrusting every woman he meets.
Bethy is an orphan as well, but raised by her harse and mean grandmother, who hates her. So, growing up, she stayed over at her BFF's place a lot. So when her bestie Sarah is getting married and Sarah's mother asks Bethy to help out with the wedding, she is more than willing to do her share.
And then Trey appears. He is supposed to be the big brother of Sarah, who was kidnapped as a baby by the nanny and disappeared ever since. Bethy doesn't trust him at all, but Sarah's mother is convinced it is her long lost son and when she discovers Trey is a wedding planner, she asks him to plan the wedding together with Bethy.
But Bethy is convinced he is a fraud, only after the family money. So, she is bend on unmasking Trey as an imposter. While trying to find out his secrets, she discovers there is some much more to Trey than meets the eye. She starts falling for him. But can she trust him? There are so many strange things going on with Trey and his crew...
Find out for yourselves how biker boys and pink and ribbons collide. Wonderful read, four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

Cute read, the H and h irritated me at times, their inner monologues got old and the treatment Bethany put up with was really annoying. Treys biker gang was the highlight of the story, their antics brought many a smile to my face.

3 1/2 Stars.
This biker book was sweet in concept and delivery but nothing too surprising. I enjoyed the interactions between Trey and the other Shadows. Bethany and Trey were sweet together and I enjoyed this story. I’ll pick up the next as I assume this is a start to a series.

I was actually really excited to read this one. I loved the cover and the synopsis/premise sounded really good.

Unfortunately, I ended up not being able to finish it. It just felt like the story was all over the place and I just couldn't get into it.

I have read a lot of romance over the past couple years and this is definitely a unique book! Even after reading the blurb, there was a lot about it that surprised me.

Bikers planning a wedding was as funny as it sounds. I got a kick out of when they were genuinely interested I'm all aspects of putting on the ceremony and reception.

There were almost too many plot threads, amongst all the characters though, and I think the book was a little longer than necessary because of it.

Overall, a fun book with a concept that will be interesting to see play out over a series.

This was my first book from this author, but it won't be my last. This was a great, sexy romance that also made me laugh.

This was a well written romance and I enjoyed it. However I had to check reality at the door as its a little out there in it really been possible to happen.

Trey runs a motorcycle gang but its a good motorcycle gang. They get rid of drug dealers and help keep their community safe but they are still rough and course and not good guys as sometimes making that happen gets very violent.

The story opens as he is told he was kidnapped as a baby and his mom has always been looking for him. He decides to go meet her and thats is when he cannot tell her he runs a motorcycle gang so instead he ends up tell her he plans things, like weddings.

What he doesnt know is his long lost sister is getting married and her bestie Bethany is helping with the wedding and so starts the big bad motorcycle leader helping plan his sisters wedding. He gets his whole gang involved and he knows its crazy but it made for a fun storyline.
