I'm still not quite sure what I read. The poems are very ... erm... stream of consciousness. They are entertaining to read, but I am not sure I will revisit them in the future.

Very entertaining and fun poetry collection! Some of the poems were not totally to my liking but this did not dampen my enjoyment of the collection as a whole.

Sadly, the whole format in this book was kind of funky, which made it nearly impossible to read. The parts that I did read were very nice though..

This is not the kind of book that I use to read,, but I have to say that I found it interesting and I am sure that It can find many readers that will enjoy it.

Crash, bang, wallop

This is one for an older audience. It's refreshing to see something written by someone who is a more mature character voice for an older audience which is witty and uplifting.

It's written in an autobiographical style with madcap anecdotes by a 70 year old. They are all extremely witty and amusing but would perhaps not appeal to a younger audience in their 20s unless they had a similar grandparent or relative who told them stories from their own past.

I am sure we will all read and find one of the stories resonates with our own recollections.

This is a compilation of short stories which you can dip into with no chronological order which may appeal to a reluctant reader of any age.

I know at least a few relatives who would enjoy this and laugh out loud.

I loved this one pretty much. Once I opened up the very first page, I thought that it would be my kind of book to read, and yess. it was.

I came to this book with no pre-conceptions which was just as well as, had I known that it had a religious bent, I would probably not have been so keen to read it. Thank goodness that was the case.

McTaggart's writing is superb, weaving the message into a story which holds together, styled as a modern piece of poetry. Whether you want the Christian message or not, this is incredibly readable and makes you think about life, living and dying with a huge dose of humour. The imagery created from the start allows you to picture the "narrator" and then that is built on throughout. Never losing its style I commend this book to anyone who enjoys thinking a little about what they are reading.

I have a couple of friend that may enjoy this a little more than I did but interesting take on "poems"

This reminded me of some of the long poems that I read for my advanced studies in modern poetry class. While it was not for me, and I didn't understand most of it, from my experiences in that class I know that many people like this kind of writing.
