I received a ARC for review for my honest opinion.
I quite enjoyed this book and learned a lot about protecting my hips during poses and stretching. As one with spinal injuries my yoga practice is very limited but can still irritate my hips. The author has provided a sensible guide to poses that gently help the hips rather then hinder during practice. I like the book very much and have put the author's suggestions into practice and have found a difference of improvement. I would recommend this book highly to anyone doing a regular yoga practice of any age. Thank you for the opportunity to review .

A most useful book for anyone with lower back/hip issues. I have suffered with L4-L5/S1 issues - degenerative disc disease with intermittent radiculopathy (radiating nerve pain) for some years. I have to be very aware and very careful with my yoga and exercise practices so as to not aggravate the situation. Of course, I also want to maintain my physical therapies - use it or lose it as they say. Charlotte Bell has written a very clear and helpful guide for people like me. I look forward to putting her suggestions and advice into practice. Well-written and recommended.
