What a delightful little book. I managed to devour it in a little over 12 hours, it would have been done in a day if I didn’t start it at night. I was so engrossed in the story I couldn’t put it down. It’s so cosy and full of love and warmth. I also loved the small town dramas too.

This is book two in a three-part series which I wasn’t aware of before requesting it. I’ll have to go back and read part one because I enjoyed the characters and want to read Tash’s story.

In this book, we have Emma’s story of finding true love. This was a fast-paced, page turner of a story. I loved the characters and found the story enjoyable yet a bit predictable at times.

Warm, heartwarming, short story with a happy ending! The Little Book Cafe is the perfect read on a chilly evening when you want to curl up with a book. The storyline is not overly complex and the characters are charming. Although it is a book in a series, it can be read as a stand alone.

A lovely escapism and great the series is all centred on one of the characters so you see the different perspectives. It’s not unique but it’s gently entertaining.

This is the second book in The Little Book Cafe series. This story focuses on Tash’s friend Emma. It is a very quick read - a perfect snow day book.

I really enjoyed the first part in this series and was great to continue it on with a different person and was an engrossing read and full of romance and heartbreak and what you really want from life and who is best for you. Great to hear more from the book club people and the setting is brilliant you want to be there yourself. Worth a read as so good and has you hooked.

Emma is desperate to leave her noisy family home and find somewhere to live with her boyfriend Ollie, but saving is boring and she is a vibrant person who wants to be our enjoying life, especially when she hardly sees Ollie lately as he is always out training with the RNLI. She decides to do something totally different and enrols on a literary writing course. From the beginning she is attracted to the course tutor Joel...... but is he all he seems and will she be drawn away from Ollie?

Another lovely story and I am really enjoying this series and it's great to be back in Berecombe, there are some great characters and you are really rooting for Emma to come to her senses and see how lovely Ollie is

What a joy to return to Berecombe. Having met Emma in the first instalment of this series, it was great to learn more about her and also catch up with the other Berecombe residents. This title was just as enjoyable as the first one, but instead focused more on appreciating what you already have. I am impatient for the next book in the series.

I started this book and read in one sitting, it isn't a very long but gets straight into the story and very quickly you see what Tash is yet to see. A good book with a quick pace that I enjoyed and am looking forward to the next book. Would make a great holiday read.

Fantastic book, where we are reunited with Millie (although she takes a backseat only making brief appearances). This is the first instalment in a series of three and I look forward to reading the others.

Tasha has it all - a job she loves at the Estate Agents, a loving boyfriend and a beautiful home. That should silence the haters who bullied and teased her at school about her weight and her glasses!! However, having joined a Book Club in Millie’s cafe (run by the lovely Amy) and met the delectable Kit she soon comes to realise that having all of this won’t necessarily make her happy and is her boyfriend really only looking out for her or is there something more sinister in his actions?

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced read copy of this book in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

A perfect cosy read for the darker evenings. I found the characters relatable and the writing engaging. I've recommended this to friends and fellow book group members for those moments when you need a feel-good read.

I’m super excited to be reading the next installment of The Little Book Café, I really enjoyed the first book, and now we are back with the ever so eccentric Emma, who feels like she is stuck in a rut! She is dying to get out of her parents home and move in with her hunky boyfriend Ollie, but he is devoted to the Berecombe RNLI training, and they are saving every penny so they can afford somewhere, but to Emma, it seems to be taking too long. So to escape from the noise and chaos at home, Emma either goes to work at the estate agents with Tash or escapes into a book (totally can relate).

Dissatisfied with life in general, Emma decided to take a literacy course, but soon finds herself being influenced by the course teacher Josh, but is Josh’s interest just as a teacher, or something more sinister.

Well, I can honestly say that Book 2 of The Little Book Café: Emma’s Story certainly lived up to my expectations! The story is fresh and so refreshing to read, and totally kept me gripped till the end, and I am seriously struggling not to tell you why! It was great to see some old and new characters and to be back in Berecombe again, and I cannot wait for the next installment of The Little Book Café.

I give The Little Book Café: Emma’s Story 5 stars.

Really loved the first book in the series. I really really wanted to love the book. I was swayed back and forth with understanding Emma. I found the plot of her job was not connected and confusing. Luckily there is book three to read, since I have faith that Georgia Hill will come back with a winning series.

Personally, I think this is considerably a great comeback comparing to the unexpectedness of the first book. This book makes the whole book club thing relatively more relevant, so that's a plus; and I like that it took the turn I was hoping for. The length of the book is likely again restricting character development, but overall I really do find this book much more enjoyable as opposed to its predecessor. 3.5-3.75 rounding up to 4.

A great and fun read. Nice and neat, although it did take me a little while to finish it! The characters were dynamic all with great relationships that were fun to read. Overall, I enjoyed the novel!

The book was ok but the characters were not super engaging. I like the writer style, but not this particular book.

Well written which kept me captivated throughout.
I will definitely be reading other books by this author

I really didn't enjoy this one as much as the others in the series. I guess it was mostly because I like a good romance and Emma and her boyfriend just didnt work for me. I enjoyed Emma's friendships and how they support her. I just kept waiting for a thrilling romance that never came

*Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book in return for a fair an d honest review.
This was my introduction to Georgia Hill. I greatly enjoyed this book;it was a very sweet story. I only wish it had been longer and more complex, with several story lines going at once. Apparently this is the third in a series about the women of a book cafe, each book looking at the life of a different character. I will certainly be reading the first two in the series not that I have been introduced to this author.
