Piper winds up meeting Jackson after her sister sets her up with him on a dating app. What Piper doesn't know is that Piper has put on her profile that she is looking for a one-night stand. Jackson is intrigued by Piper but thinks she is way more innocent than her profile suggested. Piper decides to throw caution to the wind and partake in a one-night stand with Jackson. Little do either of them know that they will be working together.

Jackson is a one and done type of guy and trolls internet websites to find a hook-up. He is quite successful and owns his own real estate company. He is interested in Piper in ways that confuse him. He doesn't want a relationship and can't quite understand why he wants more from Piper.

Piper moved to NYC to get over a break-up with her long-term boyfriend. He, apparently, dumped her and has moved on with his life. She decides to get a fresh start. She doesn't realize that her one-night stand is going to have complications. She has no idea who Jackson really is and decides to go for what she wants with no inhibitions.

Neither one of these two were really looking for a relationship. Jackson makes a proposal that both of them know will lead to more feelings being involved for both of them. The story was quick, well told and did have quite a bit of growth during it. I did not particularly like something Piper did in the name of doing what she felt was best. I won't say what, you will know it when you read it. I didn't quite understand why she felt her family would have issues with Jackson over it. The ending was a nice wrap-up for these two.

After spending time together they realized that they were falling for each other but didn't really want to admit it. Both of their lives were turned upside down when Piper found out she was pregnant. It destroyed them both but everything worked out in the end.

Loved this book! Piper's sister tries to get Piper out of her rut by setting her up on a dating app. She might just have exaggerated Piper's profile and hinted she was ok with a hook up. Jackson is rich, talented and driven. He's just looking for some sexual release and finds himself signing up for a dating app. Can you say one night stand?

Of course it turns out that Jackson is Piper's new boss. But Piper is more than qualified for her job and Jackson is no fool. He needs her help if he's to keep his sanity while acquiring his latest company. But their assurances that they can keep things strictly business...well those aren't going to be able to stand up against their desire to have each other again.

Lots of humor, drama and steam!

One night of sex with no strings is supposed to break Piper out of her normal lonely existence, but when Jackson ends up being her new boss the two attempt to keep everything professional. But when Jackson asks for more no strings sex can Piper keep her feelings for him quiet? Will the two be able to keep everything just professional? With adorable characters and a heartwarming storyline this was an enjoyable read that I highly recommend.

An enthralling and sexy standalone romance in the "Misadventures" series!

After a breakup, Piper is starting over in New York City and ready for a fresh start. Unfortunately, Piper isn't making strides in her social life, so her sister, Hailey, sets up a dating profile for her. Hailey also, acting as Piper, agrees to a date with Jackson. Piper would not normally be the type to meet a strange man for a blind date, but she's willing to give it a chance...especially since this is the start of her new life and she's craving a little excitement.

Jackson is intense, serious and hot-as-hell. He and Piper agree to a one-night stand and spend a steamy evening together. What Piper does not expect to happen is that she'll run into Jackson on Monday morning and discover that he's her new boss! Jackson has had a difficult time keeping an assistant and is in the middle of a big business deal, so he has to make the situation with Piper work. It all ends up being more than either one of them expected!

This is the second book I've read in the "Misadventures" series and I love that they can easily be finished in an afternoon. What I enjoyed about this story was the evolution of the relationship between Piper and Jackson - especially when he let his guard down. Definitely a must-read for contemporary romance fans!

I love this author so much so when I saw this I grabbed it immediately! It was fun,sexy and fast paced!I find the story refreshing and I like the characters a lot!I'm so glad Kendall Ryan joined the Misadventures series!More to add closer to the release!!
