“Liktoon’s Boat” had a great message about hard work, perseverance, and saving money. The illustrations were bright and cheerful. However, it just wasn’t one of my personal favorites.

Well, the book is something.
I believe that the author has successfully deliver the intended message: to make children dare to dream and also aware about financial skill.
The illustration is quite nice, though I expect more. And also, not really sure why Liktoon need help from Ge :)

Pretty fun little story! It promotes saving money and financial literacy to young kids. The illustrations are nicely detailed with things will enjoy looking at. Good for 2nd to 4th graders.

The purpose of this book is to teach kids about money, and how you have to earn that money by doing something. I like the concept of the story. The illustrations are okay, but not to my taste, and the story is okay. It feels like a freshman creative writing project. Full sentence, with full stops. An almost monotone feel. Liktoon did this, Liktoon did that, etc.

The main character of this story loves the ocean and listening to the stories of the sailors but doesn’t have a boat. He learns that he can earn money to get what he wants.

This is an important lesson for children. They need to learn to work for what they want and earn things.

The pictures are colorful and the text isn’t too complicated. Overall a good story.
