I always enjoy reading a Tony Evans book. He has a way of presenting things in a way that makes them fresh for me. I have to say I didn't necessarily hear any story that was new to me from the Bible, but the way he presents them is refreshing. We all need to be reminded that sometimes God allows us to hit rock bottom so he can do something so amazing in our lives, that it is obvious only He could do it. It is those times when we feel the presence and power of God the most. I would recommend this book to anyone. 4 out of 5 stars for me.

In our current times, there are many people facing what seem to be insurmountable life challenges. In fact, if you or someone you know hasn’t faced any challenges yet, at least one is coming. For some, it may appear that nothing can be done and they may be opting to give up. My recommendation is “Don’t!” Every challenge is designed for a purpose. This book look at different life challenges and encourages the reader to “think different”. Not only is it written in an engaging style, but there are questions that may be used in discussion groups for reflection and application. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. Thanks to NetGalley and Harvest House Publishers for making it available.

Tony Evans, who I love his writing as well as his daughters', once again delivers a great book on remembering that even when you feel like you are at the end of your rope, you never are! Shares ways to get back into your life and align back with God.

This book really spoke to me in this particular season of life. I look forward to sharing the revelation and insights with my family and friends as I believe they will be encouraged by Tony's teachings as well..
