Joe and his son follow his wife's car one afternoon and find her parked in a hotel parking lot. Upon entering the hotel lobby they see a friend's husband in an argument with Joe's wife. Joe's wife leaves in a hurry and Joe and the man (Ben) get into an argument in the parking lot. Ben pushes Joe and when Joe pushes Ben back, Ben falls and hits his head. Joe and his young son high tail it out of the parking lot and to home where Joe can ask his wife what is going on. I read about the first 40-50 pages and then found myself bored. I like twists and turns but every character in this book tells one lie after another and it's too confusing. I then went to the very end of the book and didn't care for the ending either.

Thank you Netgalley for the opportunity to preview LIES. Wow - This book captivated me from page 1 till the end.
Joe Lynch is an ordinary guy - he has a wife, child, good job, and all is well in his world. That's until one day when he is driving and sees his wife with one of their friends in a parking garage. Joe doesn't know what's going on, but he intends to find out. This detour changes Joe's life the way he knows it. If you could change one thing you did in the course of a day in hindsight, you just might do it and Joe Lynch wishes he never followed his wife into that parking garage.
This is fast paced, written in first person POV, and takes the reader on Joe's roller coaster ride. One day he is a ordinary man, and the next he is a fugitive wanted for murder.
Logan does a great job getting the reader invested in the plot immediately and with a surprise ending, readers will be engaged till the very end.
My first book by Logan, and not my last. Recommend.

Joe Lynch makes a quick decision to follow his wife’s care one day when he and his young son see her in traffic. When he catches up to her in a parking garage, she’s arguing with Ben, the husband of one of her friends. Joe gets out to assist his wife and the fight escalates, with Ben being knocked unconscious. Joe has to leave then, because his son has an asthma attack that needs immediate medical attention. When Joe comes back later, both Ben and his car are gone. Now, the father and husband is in the middle of a nightmare, he gets threatening texts from Ben, while at the same time Ben’s wife reports him missing. This is one wild read! Ben is a little too trusting, but the story is pure dynamite!
