This one was just O.K. for me. Cade and Gia's story did not grab me. It was the plot and the execution that just did not come together well.

Businessman Cade King has fallen for the wrong woman. She's the daughter of a hitman, and he's the target. After ten years of living in the shadow of the Irish mob, Gia Callaghan wants nothing more than to escape the darkness of her life. Her burning desire for answers about her past has her constantly plotting new ways to flee. When she comes face-to-face with the one man who might be able to help her, she'll have to decide exactly how much his life is worth.
This was a pretty good story from start to finish. I really liked both main characters. The plot had me from page 1 and I didn’t want to stop until I was done. I recommend.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed this book

This book was a page turner, I could not put it down. There was so much suspense, sexy times, fantastic characters and surprises in this story. I enjoyed every moment of this story from beginning to end. I loved getting swept up in Cade and Gia’s story. It had the perfect balance of suspense, action, sexy good times and characters that just left you begging for more.

Brilliant read with all the things I enjoy in a book with a brilliant storyline and characters and I will look forward to reading more from you from this author thank you for my arc

An interesting book that is full of excite and fast paced from the beginning. This story has love, suspense, action, and a little of hope. Gia is looking for a way out of the situation she is in at the moment. A daughter of a hitman she is now stuck with a man who runs the Irish mob, and she is looking for a way out before maybe he does something to her like marriage. She is able to get a note to Cade Callaghan who at the moment does not know who she is. She wants out of the club and away from there and safe. He decides to help her and from there the book takes off for quite a few twist and turns. The author keeps you going as they run form one person to the next while he still does not know who she really is. Getting deeper into the story you find out more of their pasts and how this actually will help in the end. A very good story and I liked how the author would keep you guessing from one page to the next. Very much worth the read.

Cade was drawn to Gia like a moth to a flame. He knew he had seen her before but he couldn’t remember when. He would keep her safe no matter how much it put his life in peril. He made a promise to himself that he would rectify the problems of his past and become a different man than his father. Escaping danger lines are crossed and they both finally succumb to the need that consumes them. Explosive chemistry and characters that will pull you into the tangled web of their lives as they try to keep each other safe.

This was an enjoyable mob read. You kinda had to suspend reality to really enjoy it but it was still a good book.

I received an arc from Netgalley. Not one of my favorite reads. Cade and Gia’s story was just not for me and not my taste. While I think the author is great I just couldn’t get into this one.

Cade is trying to make up for past bad choices. He is in love with Gia the daughter of a hit man. This book has plenty of action, suspense and twists. A really wonderful read.
I received an arc via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

This read was so-so for me. It had an interested no premise and the characters had great chemistry, but I found myself skimming many parts. I also found some parts that were a little too unbelievable for me. I can suspend belief a little, but some characters did things that I would not attribute to them. All in all ,not a bad read, but I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped.

Suspense, intrigue, love -- all great qualifiers for a book, but I found it to easy to put down and come back to later. I really enjoyed the action of the story and the characters. It just didn't grab me as much as I would have liked.

Nice read with very little angst. This is the story of Gia and Cade. Gia is a girl stuck in the Irish Mafia with seemingly no where to run. Until she meets Cade. And believe me, I would have run to him too. With Cade's connections, money, and cocky confidence, she may just have a chance. She has one hope in getting away and that is to find her mom. Gia's problem is putting all her trust in Cade and also putting him in danger.
I enjoyed the book and the secondary characters. Would love to learn more about Corbin, Cade's reckless, streetcar racing brother.
I recommend this to mafia story lovers, but with very little descriptive torture or violence. It was actually done very well in that regard.

I really enjoyed this book. Cade and Mya had a steamy relationship and I love stories that are mafia related. I hope there will additional books in this series. I would love to read one about Owen. Would definitely recommend this book.

Cade is a wealthy businessman who meets Gia in a strip club owned by the Irish Mob. He can’t resist her even after he finds out her father is the Irish Mob’s hitman. Gia just wants out of the prison her father and the mob have had her in for the past 10 years, so she can find her mother. Because Cade wants to protect Gia, they leave the US ... but they have different agendas and they will take along on their adventure.
This is an action packed romance that will keep you guessing until the end. The story will take twists and turns that you just weren’t expecting. Even though I didn’t read the first book in the series, I had no trouble figuring out who was who as the author did a great job of introducing the characters.
I received an ARC courtesy if EmKo Media through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

I’m a sucker for a good mob book. This one was pretty good. There was quite a bit of suspense in it, very cloak and dagger towards the end. The beginning had me a little confused especially with Cade. It wasn’t clear what he did and it was just like oh hey, I’m going to insert myself in all this mob biz because Gia is sexy. Huh? That part was weird but other than that, it was a solid story.

4.25 Stars
Cade & Gia.
She's the daughter of a hitman and he's a millionaire business man who first meets her in a strip club.
But she's not a stripper - she 'belongs' to the club-owner & irish mob boss Rory.
Cade is extremely attracted to Gia and does everything in his power to help her ...
But of course Rory is not letting her go without a fight.
But Cade and the ex Navy SEALs he hires can fight back ...
Gia and Cade already met 8 years before ... just for a second ... He couldn't save her then, but he will do it now - even if it's the last thing he'll ever do.... But of course mobster Rory is not the only problem those two have to face!

Well, that was an adorable and exciting romantic suspense story.
I already liked Cade in his sisters' book and now here he is with his own story.
I don't know if I was in a weird mood or too tired, but the beginning - the first page and the first chapter - wasn't my thing. It didn't flow at all. The sentences were too complicated to catch my attention. And that's what a book should do ... catch your interest with the first word/line/page/chapter ... but it got a lot better ... the beginning just didn't have enough flow for my reading tastes. ☺
The story was really interesting. I liked Cade a lot and it was all very exciting and insta and sexy and sad and moving and I really enjoyed reading it once I got into the story.
Great Romantic Suspense!
And now I really want to read Corbin's book!

**I received a copy of My Every Breath from Net Galley and BookBuzz.net in exchange for a voluntary and honest review**
My Every Breath by Brittney Sahin is the second book in her series with the first one being Someone Like You. I didn't read the first book so I was a bit confused at first but did manage to get into the second half of the book. I'd give the book all 4 stars but I'd recommend reading the first book.
Gia Callaghan has been running from the Irish Mob and Rory for much of her life until one night she meets Cade King who has come to the strip club for a friends bachelor party. But she is also working with a reporter who she is helping find several missing girls in both Boston and South America. Will she be able to finally find the mother who left the US for Brazil even though she thinks her father has something to do with her disappearance?
When Cade steps in to keep Rory from claiming her as his new toy little does he know that rescuing her will lead to him a mob hit man and human sex trafficking ring. He's been trying to correct the mistakes from his father and make their company profitable without telling his sister and brother that his father spent years trying to destroy. Once he and Gia are on the run he'll have to use Owen and Jessica's company for not only security but their skills trying to escape a hit on their lives. Can they build a life together and find closure for Gia?

At a bachelor party Cade King, businessman and millionaire, spots a beautiful woman. Oh my, she hits him hard, but she immediately warns him off. Gia Callaghan clearly tells him that she is not the woman for him to be hitting on. Boy, was she right! She is the daughter of a hitman working for the Irish mob. His interest in Gia is not to be put off, and now he has become the target of this mob.
Since the age of sixteen, Gia has been trying to escape. Meanwhile, Cade sees that she is truly in danger – and takes whatever risks necessary to protect her. With help from some very sharp friends of Cade's, they flee. But Gia is trying to hide her true ultimate goal from Cade, raising the stakes even higher.
While Cade's intentions are truly honorable, the chemistry between him and Gia is undeniable. Then, there is the secret that Gia is withholding from Cain. Where will things go? My Every Breath by Brittney Sahin is a true romantic suspense. This talented author certainly kept me guessing where things might turn.
Thank you to Bookbuzz.net and to Netgalley for this ARC to review.

This book, my first by this author, is full of action and suspense. The two main characters, Cade and Gia, are complex and have suffered through very difficult times. I love the alpha-hero type who knows the heroine must be his the moment he sees her, and Cade definitely fits that description. The things Gia experienced in her past were so disturbing, and my heart went out to her as she fought to escape her circumstances. The tone of this one is definitely dark, but it is a riveting read. I definitely recommend this one and look forward to reading more by this author.

Cade is a powerful CEO dealing with personal and family mistakes that have haunted him for years. One of those mistakes ultimately comes to a head when he meets Gia at a mob-run club. As soon as he sees her, he knows he has seen her before, but he can't remember where. When he sees Gia being manhandled by Rory, a mob boss, he tries to intervene and unwittingly becomes the mob's next target. Gia is not only trying to escape from Rory's possessive control and her hitman father's terrible past, but is also searching for her mother. When she hears of Rory's plans for Cade, she looks for him to try to warn him. Cade, a man with means and military help, decides to help Gia escape from Rory and the mob.
This is the first book I have read by Brittney Sahin and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. From the moment Cade met Gia, I knew the scenes between these two were going to be hot. Cade was hooked on her from the beginning and could not let her go. Gia was more stubborn to admit her feelings for Cade, but Cade was determined to win her over. The story is definitely suspenseful and the discoveries that Gia and Cade made definitely shocked me. This is a complete story even though it is part of a series and it has a wonderful HEA.
I received an ARC copy of this book from NetGalley and BookBuzz.net for my honest review.
