I really loved the whole set up of this one. Allie and Roman only know each other by name, so when attraction finds them in bed together before even knowing each other’s name, neither can ignore the chemistry and passion that they ignite in one another – even though they are supposed to be on opposite sides of a business deal, something that takes both of them by surprise when they finally get around to sharing their names with each other. Roman comes to see Allie as so much more than a business deal and way more than a vacation fling, but getting past her trust issues and her inability to lean on others for support and help is not easy.

My only minor issue with this one was with Allie’s refusal to even hear Roman out with regards to the business proposal. I did like the them agreeing to continue the fling with a “no business” clause to it – even though we all knew how that was going to work out – but, I was never really sure what Allie’s issues were that kept her from at least listening to Roman and kind of felt like I missed something. And even with the disclosure agreement that Roman was under I still kind of felt that Allie could have asked more questions to learn a bit more before shutting him down. Not a huge issue, but something I did find myself thinking about more than once through this book.

This was a quick read, but there is tons of the steam and heat that Katee Robert always knows how to deliver, as well as, two characters that you just couldn’t help but like. This is the second book in the series but it can easily be read as a standalone.

Like most everything from this author, this one is definitely worth checking out!

There is just something about a tropical setting that lets people drop their guard and do things they normally wouldn't do in their everyday lives, and that is exactly what happens with Allie and Roman. Allie never expected to have a vacation fling let alone one with Roman, the man she was currently avoiding at home because he was trying to get her to sell her business to an investor he had that was interested in it. Problem was she was so good at avoiding him that she didn't know what he looked like, the same goes for him so no he didn't set out to seduce her in order to get what he wanted.

This was a quick read that was not only HOT it had an good story line that flowed easily and never felt choppy. This story can be read in just a few hours, perfect read for by the pool or the beach that way when you get a bit hot you can go for a dip to cool off. If you enjoy the enemies-to-lovers trope or are just looking for something that is not only hot but interesting as well I would recommend you grab a copy of Make Me Crave, although this is the second in the series it can be read easily be read as a standalone.

Make Me Crave is the second standalone book in the Make Me series and features some familiar characters from the previous book. This short, extremely sexy enemies to lovers story will definitely keep readers turning the page to the point that you either stop whatever you're doing or basically do everything quickly while reading! Yes, done both! The character of Roman Bassini has been established as basically a nonbeliever in romance (case in point read the first book). He also happens to be shark in the business world. Now Allie on the other hand appears more complicated in the emotional department than Roman. First she owns a business that Roman is itchy to get his hand on for a potential investor. Which means she's a savvy business person, second her gym also happens to be attached to a women's shelter for victims of abuse. Therefore she has a name to protect and therefore she doesn't trust Roman because of his reputation. So when they happen to bump into each other in an island resort, attractions of the lustful kind flare up, they kind of act on it right away. It's an island resort that sort of thing happens. What doesn't usually happens is if you find out, after all that orgasmic glow, that your enemy became your lover and is back to being an enemy! What results is one very erotic and quite entertaining romance that takes the phrase business before pleasure over its head! Make Me Crave is short, combustible and captivating with a guaranteed HEA, how it happens is the real story!

Make Me Crave by Katee Robert is the second book in the Make Me series. This book is about Frenemies! Yes you read that right Frenemies. I mean not really Frenemies but that is the best explanation I can think of. This book is so steamy it will burn you as you read it. Roman and Allie are at some major odds. No matter the chemistry between them. Allie doesn't trust Roman. She is losing everything that matters to her and he represents a private investor trying to buy it all out from under her. Out of this world sex scenes. You will not regret this read. It will take you to the perfect beach setting!

Make Me Crave is the second book in the Make Me series. I didn't read the first one, but this one held up well as a stand alone. There were references to events that happened in the first book involving Roman, but they didn't seem important to this book. This is Roman and Allie's story.

For the most part, I enjoyed the book. If you blush easily, you may want to read this alone. The loves scenes are pretty steamy! I did like both Roman and Allie and they had great chemistry together. Allie was a strong female lead and I admired her for not compromising her principles. Roman was good for her as she was able to figure out that sometimes asking for help is OK. I did have a little bit of a problem with the quick I Love Yous. I would have like to see more of them together off the island. A week in paradise isn't enough for me to buy it. But then, I always want short romances to be longer. I do recommend this one. After reading it, I now want a private island vacation!

I read Make Me Want earlier this year and it didn't work for me, but fortunately Make Me Crave hit all my kinks! I definitely enjoyed it more than the first book. Although it is the second book in the series, Make Me Crave works as a standalone.

I vaguely remember Roman, but I do remember being intrigued with him and I'm glad that he got a book of his own. I didn't remember what Roman did that nearly ruined his friendship with Book 1's hero Gideon and Gideon's relationship with Lucy the heroine though; it was mentioned in the story but it wasn't that important. We got to see his ruthlessness in securing deals for his clients in this book, and we also got to see him fell to his knees (both metaphorically and figuratively *winks*) for a woman too.

Allie Landers is a perfect heroine for him. She's opinionated, headstrong and basically challenges him at every turn. Although Allie's stubbornness to make it on her own without selling her soul to some pesky investor (despite endangering her own business and nonprofit) infuriates me so, I respect her principles. I also love that she can stand her ground with Roman and not get her head muddled by lust (I mean I would have probably given Roman everything the moment he asked because I'm weak in the face of sexiness).

There is an element of hate-to-love in the story, when Allie found out that her one-night stand Adonis is the Roman Bassani, the one who threatened to take her business from her. The attraction between them was too strong, though, and they decided to have a no-strings attached fling in paradise before returning to New York and back to business. If you're a Katee Roberts fan, then you're already aware of her talent for the sexy times, and you won't be disappointed because Make Me Crave is a big package of Hot. I won't suggest reading this in public ;)

Overall, I'm happy that I love this more than the first book. Aaron and Becky (H/h for the third Make Me book) are also featured in this book (though they haven't met just yet!) and I'm already excited for their book because I love their characters.

Wowza - Allie and Roman are HAWT!!

This is the 2nd book in the Make Me series which is part of the steamy Harlequin DARE book line. You don't have to read Book 1, but I do recommend it as you meet Roman in that one and it alludes to aspects from Book 1 which will enhance the story.

Roman follows Allie to paradise where she is vacationing to get away from the stress of her jobs. When mistaken identity leads to a hot, steamy one night stand - how are they going to feel once they know who each other is? Can you truly put aside your differences for a steamy vacation fling if you know reality will set in once you are back to your real life?

Parts of the story were a little unrealistic and Allie's procrastination to her REAL LIFE problems were beyond frustrating since so many people depended on her finding a solution. So her stubbornness over Roman's offer was maddening.

However, steam factor was sizzling - a typical Katee Robert specialty and the story was as entertaining as you would expect. This has been a fun series to read.

It’s fun to see their dynamic and how Roman is determined to make this more than a fling. The characters are fun and the story is sexy. Just what you want.

Make me Crave by Katee Robert is such an amazing and captivating read that you will not put it down. Sexy, fiesty, hotness, chemistry, laughter and love Make me Crave is a must read for all book lovers. This is hands down in my opinion the best book that I have ever read by Katee Roberts.

Make Me Crave is totally a sexy, summer romance read! Perfect to take with you on vacation. This is part of Harlequin's Dare line and it is probably my favorite line! If you are looking for hot, "daring", edgy sex scenes, you should pick up this book.

As soon as I read the name Roman Bassani, I knew I had met him somewhere before. I quickly realized that this is book two and that Roman was introduced in Make Me Want. Roman is a cutthroat, ruthless business investor. He has made a name for himself acquiring businesses and will stop at almost nothing to get things to go his way. When Allie doesn't even want to meet with him, he needs to figure out a way to talk to her. Allie won't meet with Roman when he shows up at her gym and she keeps hanging up on him when he tries to call. Allie does know that the shelter she runs is sucking up all the profits from the gym and her personal account. But she will do whatever it takes to keep the women safe and employed. Thus, she can never sell her gym.

Becca convinces Allie that she needs to take a vacation and picks a ultra secluded vacation resort so that all their worries can just melt away. It has literally been years since Allie has relaxed and tried to let go of the stress that goes with her business. What she is not expecting is for Roman to show up on this island. If the man can ruin a vacation, he might just have done that to Allie. However, there is a bit of a mix up and it is also possible that Roman is not as ruthless as he appears. As the mysteries of their stories unravel, so does their passion for each other. You will want to read this book if you want to find out if love can overcome a business transaction ;)

Roman has made a successful living out of matching struggling businesses with investors however he is finding Allie a challenge he hadn’t expected. He has gotten tired of her avoiding him, so he has arranged to vacation at the same island that she will be for the next week where she will have no choice but to listen to him.

Allie’s past inspired her to start a woman’s gym and shelter, but she is struggling to make it viable. As fundraising is not her forte she has been taking profits from the gym to support the shelter and she needs a plan which doesn’t include an investor who will change everything she has worked so hard for. Her friend has convinced her she needs a vacation and won’t take no for an answer.

From the moment they met the heat between Roman and Allie was explosive and even finding out who each other was didn’t dampen it. They are both strong people who have made their minds up but is there a compromise to be found?

This is a hot and sexy story you won’t be able to put down however the only thing I would have liked was for the ending to be drawn out a bit more or perhaps an epilogue. I am enjoying this series and looking forward to the next installment. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Huge fan of Katee Rorbert and now she is doing work with the Dare part of this publishing group. The naughty, sexy times are there as well as the story lines.

This is a man who wants the woman's business. Period. He deals in buyouts and she is his target. He finds out she is on vacation and will take advantage of this, as she hasn't responded to any of his calls or emails. He figures he will find her at the resort and, corner her and present his offer. Done...

Instead, he happens to become interested in a beautiful woman... and she is bantering and responding back. Like all vacation type flings, no one seems to give their names to anyone...They find each other in the evening, hook up and it is off the charts. They then discover who each one of them is...but the sex was too hot to give up..so a deal is made...

They will enjoy each other during this vacation time but away from the resort, no more...Back to cutthroat business.

Roberts delivers what the Dare Brand wanted and more.

I like this one just a touch more than the first. Amazing chemistry between the two characters, a beautiful location, and their careers sprinkled in to show their working personalities along with the personal.

Readers will remember Roman from the first book in the series Make Me Want I found him an intriguing character then, so I was happy that he turned out to be the romantic lead in Make Me Crave.

I loved the setting. The tropical island getaway is perfect this time of year and it kind of makes this fantasy of the no-strings-attached sex really hot. The chemistry between Allie and Roman is off the charts, but I felt like Katee Robert did a good job of balancing out all the heat with the reality which is: Roman is there first and foremost in a business capacity. At some point Allie and Roman have to face this reality.

Make Me Crave is a relatively quick / short read. I think for the most part Katee Robert handles that fact really well. The only thing that I felt could have come across a little better given a few more pages, is the devotion Allie has for the shelter. I mean she's so devoted to its success and this stems from things in her past, and I completely understand that, but in the end, the business is failing, yet Allie won't even think about bringing in an investor because she fears they'll change too much. I felt like this issue fell a bit flat. If Allie is so devoted, she should have given more thought to Roman's proposal. We're given plausible reasons for her hesitance, but they didn't quite make it there for me.


Still, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. If you're looking for a hot, sexy, summer romance to read in one sitting, Make Me Crave is perfect.
