I know this is a continuing series but I really wish the end had more of a conclusion romantically - but I really enjoyed the story. I didn't even miss not having read the first book there was enough hints of the back storey to make this story flow - looking forward to the next.

Bianca StIves has a price on her head. An organization on the dark web has put a huge bounty on her. Bianca has to find a way to kill whoever put the contract out or she won’t live very long. Bianca ends up teaming up with a man she thought was her Father to commit an incredibly dangerous robbery to get leverage against the people out to get her.

This book takes you all over the world on Biancas quest to save herself. Just when she thinks she has hope she is betrayed again. No place is safe, very few can be trusted. This is the second book in The Guardian series but it could be read as a stand alone. It will grab you from the first page and hold onto you till the end. There is obviously going to be another book in the series. I can’t wait to read the next one. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.

I was hooked from the first sentence and couldn't put it down! Bianca St. Ives first appeared in The Ultimatum by Robards. which was the first book in the Guardian series. Bianca has a hit put out on her and it's kill or be killed as she navigates through a convoluted plan to save her life. Lots of action, suspense, and an interesting romance with someone she doesn't trust. Loved it!
