The opening scene of Julian’s story had me gasping, then cackling hysterically! I honestly think it was the best first chapter I’ve ever read. Julian is a very angry and bitter man, who’s three month road trip has done nothing to chase away his demons. He meets, Charlotte, a very positive and giving young woman...his total opposite in terms of temperament. When he totally misunderstands her very innocent and generous gesture, I thought she was just what he needed.
What Julian really needs is a kick in the pants and not to wear his a$$ as a hat. Everyone around him, from his manager Mick to the boys in band (loved seeing Riley, Matt and Dylan show up), and even Charlotte, in her gentle, non-judgmental way, tell him to let go of the past. But he’s struggling.
Charlotte is awesome. A social worker with a psychology degree, she’s a tireless ( and thankless, in some cases), champion for the underprivileged and down on their luck clients she sees both on the job and at the shelter she volunteers at. At first glance, you’d think her sweetness would make her a doormat. But this firecracker has a spine and will of steel, covered by a velvet glove.
I love this opposites attract couple! They brought out the best in each other and gave the reader someone to cheer for. After reading the whole Band on the Run series, plus Riley’s book in the Shaughnessy series, I truly believe Julian’s story is the best and most heartfelt.
Samantha Chase knocked it out of the park. The dialogue is crisp, funny and beautifully written. The pacing was excellent and didn’t feel rushed and the he characters were spot on. This is NOT a rockstar romance, but rather a romance with a disillusioned rockstar who doesn’t know which path to follow...and the woman who helps him follow his own conscious. Brilliant!!

One More Moment is a book that will renew your faith in true love. I hate to see this series end but Ms. Chase has finished on top with this story. Julian and Charlotte's love story shows that even misunderstandings in coffee shops can lead to your true love. With this series ending I really want to know what Ms. Chase will come up with next.

In line at her normal coffee stop Charlotte decides to pay it forward to the man in front of her who left his wallet at home. She has no idea he is Julian Grayson from Shaughnessy. Julian is intrigued with this woman and wants to see what she is about. Her kindness and eagerness to help people is the opposite of his ex. As he continues to heal and tries to find his music again Charlotte is with him.
She also decides if he can't be truthful with himself and deal with his past they will never work together.
Julian and Charlotte are perfect for each other their story is beautiful. I wasn't sure how this was going to play out and was nervous in the middle of it, however this is my favorite of this series. I highly recommend it.
** I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review**

One More Moment is book three in the Shaughnessy Brothers: Band on the Run series. Wow, this book sucked me right in. Julian and Charlotte are such a genuine couple, and you literally feel like you are right in the story with them. I absolutely loved this story, and I definitely recommend it.

What an amazing addition to the Shaughnessy series! Talk about saving the best for last. I have been anxiously awaiting Julian’s story and Samantha did not disappoint. I was completely wrapped up in his story from the very beginning. Samantha has a way with her writing that pulls you in to the story. Not only making it easy for you to visualize everything happening, but also pulls you in emotionally. You feel what the characters are feeling. You laugh with them, cry with them, feel the struggles and successes. You fall in love right along with them.
Charlotte is exactly what Julian needed and watching their love blossom was emotional and beautiful. It was heartfelt and realistic. The chemistry and pull was undeniable. I loved seeing Julian heal and grow and learn to trust again.

Delightful story from beginning to end is a perfect description of One More Moment by Samantha Chase. The plot is so well done that you can easily see this very thing happening, even in a world where social media is everywhere. Julian Grayson may not be down on his luck as Charlotte Clark imagines but he is certainly down on his faith and hope in life.
I think that there are plenty of celebrities, not just musicians, that wish for a moment or a chance to be someone else; someone unknown to the world. Also, disappointments and shattered dreams are a part of everyone’s life, so it is easy to understand where Julian is coming from, making him real. What is so great is that everyone needs a Charlotte in their life, I loved that Julian was found by her. To be honest, Charlotte has times of need too, making this the perfect story of hope.
I thought it read fine as a stand-alone but since other band members are part of the book, so some may find that they wish to read the books in order.

This was a wonderful end to the series! I loved Charlotte and Julian's love story. It was a hard won relationship as they learned about what was important to each other. This story really tugged on the heart strings.

I have been waiting not so patiently for this story. I love this series and everyone in the band. Samantha Chase weaves the lives of all of the bank though the story so you feel connected to everyone you fell in love with before. Let's talk about Julian. Poor guy has had some issues and at times I wanted to strangle him but in the end he's on the top of my list of favorite loves in the band. I have a thing for drummers and he would be the man except for the fact that Riley will ALWAYS be number one. I loved the series and the story. Samantha Chase always delivers!

Each time I read a Samantha Chase story I am sure that this is my favorite male character, but then I read a new book and my favorite changes....and it happened again because I absolutely love Julian. Which is interesting bc I was not sure if I would even like him from the relationship woes that were shared throughout this series...but there you have the creative genius that is Samantha Chase...because I adore Julian and this story of his and Charlotte’s relationship!
You won’t see that wedding surprise coming 😎 That surprise set the tone for this book and the journey of Julian regaining his self esteem, confidence and understanding that people can be trusted. I wanted to stand up and clap, after I got over my shock, with how that scene was set up. Not only did I not see that coming, I was blown away by how Julian showed Charlotte that he cared. There were other scenes as well that created a depth of feelings and emotions that we experience as we deal with different events and move on from situations in life that I thought were well done. One of favorite things about SC stories, beyond the characters and emotions is how vivid all the locations and people are to me. I love the coast and digging my toes in the sand and thoroughly enjoyed that imagery.
I would recommend reading the other books in this series, because they are amazing, but also because it really builds on Julian’s journey. Thank you NetGalley, Samantha Chase and SourceBooks Casablanca for the chance to read this book and share my opinions!

Ever hear the phrase pay it forward? Ever heard in the news like I did recently where someone paid for someone coffee etc and they turned out to the a major recording star? Well this book is for you!!! It starts out with something as simple as Julian walking into a coffee shop in desperate need of a cup of coffee but no wallet. This is where he meets Charlotte. She thinks he is down on her luck after all she deals with the homeless etc every day of the week. But Julian has recently had his heart shattered and can't believe someone would do something without other motives in mind. Like a picture, an autograph, but Charlotte is true of heart. All she wants to do is help, Julian still doesn't know how to feel about her because it seems everyone has always tried to take advantage and he fears one day she will too. Is it possible for Julian to break free and love freely again after the way his ex treated him? Is it possible for Charlotte to forgive him for not telling her his situation before it got to a certain point? Well, the only way for you to figure this out is to read this book. And it's one amazing book. Samantha Chase is one of my most favorite authors, and I have to say in the contemporary romance department my favorite. Everyone listen, this book is like listening to one of your favorite songs over and over. You can't put it down and you are going to want to read it over and over. Excellent read.

Amazing story of strength and courage. Watching Charlotte help Julienne see that love isn't about what material things you can give, but about all the things you can give for free that mean so much more. Charlottes work with the homeless shelter was very touching and heart felt. Julienne was so hurt by the things Dena had done to him, that it made him struggle with his self worth. Amazing wonderful story

From the first pages of this book (the prologue was explosively fabulous), I fell in love with this story and knew that I’d thoroughly enjoy the story of Julian and how he finally learns to forgive, give and truly love. Julian finally decides to leave his current toxic relationship, and he does so in a very embarrassing and public way that his fiancée did not see coming! I cheered, believing Julian recognized the mistake he’d made in loving Dena and seeing that she was not a kind person with his love and respect first in her life.
After taking 3 months to “find himself”, Julian returns to real life. The first morning, he decides to go to the coffee house down the street/beach but he forgot his wallet! Charlotte steps up to pay for his breakfast, believing he is a man with no job and perhaps down-on-his-luck. On the other hand, Julian thinks Charlotte wants something from him (he believes everyone wants fame, money or a chance in the music industry from him). However, Charlotte doesn’t have a clue who he is, nor does she care! She helps people with no regard who they are.
Julian is drawn to Charlotte, so much so that he goes to the shelter where she’s working to give a little of his time to make things better there. As Julian spends more time with Charlotte, he realizes how much he enjoys her take on life, her independence and her desire to give back. Charlotte recognizes a hurt soul in Julian, and she tries to help him recognize what he needs to do to help him get past the embarrassment and pain from his past and help him move back to his professional life. But in the process, she losses her heart to him, while he purposely tries to disregard her attempts...until he no longer can.
This story is sweet, sizzling and another great story pulling you into the lives of Julian and Charlotte, the Shaughnessy band members and their manager. I highly recommend!!
Thank you to NetGalley and Samantha Chase for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of this book. I am providing my honest review.

I have been in LOVE with the Shaughnessy family since Made For Us and I can honestly say that I was heartbroken that the series was coming to an end but little did I know that Ms. Chase had saved the ABSOLUTE BEST for last!!! We finally get Julian's story and after everything that he's been through he decided to take a break. He walks into a coffee shop one day looking a little worse for wear and not like a famous rock star and when he goes to pay for his coffee and realizes he forgot his wallet Charlotte pays for it without a second thought. Julian can't believe that she doesn't recognize him or want something from him. Charlotte sees someone she assumes is down on their luck and steps in to help because that's who she is. After all that Julian has been through he needs someone inherently good like Charlotte. Ms. Chase truly outdid herself in the journey we get to go on together with Julian and Charlotte. I don't want to give away any spoilers but this book is a MUST READ!!!! I think it's also my new favorite by the AMAZING Ms. Chase. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.

Thank you Samantha Chase for creating so many amazing characters to fall in love with. One More Moment is the last of the series and highlights Julian and Charlotte's romance. There is a wonderful message about paying it forward and taking care of our community.
Who would think that a pay it forward moment at a local coffee shop would lead to Charlotte's HEA!
Received this ARC by NetGalley as an exchange for an honest review.

I like the family feel to this whole series. The band members have each other's backs and support each other unconditionally. Each of the mates has had a crisis and together (with the help of an unsuspecting heroine) each guy finds their identity outside the band. Having a life outside the band will ultimately make them a stronger unit.
Julian begins his journey kicking his cheating ex to the curb in a very public way. He then retreats into hiding. Charlotte mistakes him for an unemployed and possibly homeless person that she can fix. Julian may not need fixing but he does need a change of pace and something to do.
I sometimes felt that the characters were not making consistent choices to their personalities. It all works out in the end but it was an uncomfortable way to get there.I would really like to see one more book in the series dedicated to the band manager. I want to know more about what he has been through during the course of the series.

When everything in Julian Grayson's life gets to be too much, he takes a break from it all. Charlotte Clark offers to pay for his coffee, and he's immediately thinking she wants something from him. She has no clue who he is, and it's a refreshing turn for Julian, so he pursues her while keeping up the facade of just being a regular joe.
The story draws you in from the first page and I loved the journey these characters take you on. Definitely the best one in the series so far!

I have been waiting for Julian to get his story for ages so I devoured this book and loved every minute of it. Seeing him finally be to move past the on-off girlfriend of the past books and find a strong woman to stand by him was a great read. The characters were well developed and the story line was believable and hooked me from the first page.

From the beginning she had me sucked in. I love how sincere yet hard headed Julian is and Charlotte's generosity is the best. She has a huge heart which is exactly what Julian needed to heal his pain.
Another great book in a great series.

Oh Julian!!! How I love you!! I have been waiting for his story from author Samantha Chase and it most definitely did not disappoint. Charlotte was the perfect partner for him from the first glance. I loved walking their journey with them. The writing is superb as always and I enjoyed catching up with some of the other band members. I will always read this author’s books as long as she keeps writing!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

One More Moment by Samantha Chase in the third book in her Band on the Run series, but the first I read and loved it! I am definitely going back and reading the previous books! This story was unexpectedly sweet and charming.
Julian Grayson is tired and needs a break. He loves his band, but with a cheating fiancé and always being in the spotlight, he needed to get away. And when a friendly woman offers to pay for his coffee when he forgot his wallet, he thinks she has ulterior motives. All Charlotte wants to do is help a man she thinks may be in need. So begins a journey that will change both of their lives!
Charlotte is friendly, sweet and loves to help others when she can. She is all heart. Julian, being disillusioned right now, does not react the way she expected. But what she does not know is who this man truly is, and he is taken off guard by that. People always want something from him and she is so refreshing!
I really enjoyed reading One More Moment by Samantha Chase. For a story about a musician, it was truly sweet and adorable read. I loved the characters so much and their story. I am excited to read the previous books!
Happy reading!
