I have read many Lynsay Sands books over the years and there is something comforting in her writing. While the content is somewhat formulaic, I love that each story focuses on a new couple (with occasional glimpses of past couples) but the twists and turns that make each book unique are still somewhat unexpected.

I’m sorry to say that this series has gone on a bit too long for me. I couldn’t get into this book as much as I tried, Die hard fans will love it, but for fans like me it’s a bit meh.

I have read some of the Argeneau novels over the years and Lyndsay Sands always delivers a smart, often funny and easy to read story. Twice bitten is just that – it can be read as a stand alone and it is easy to become involved in Elspeth’s life. Her mother is so dominating and she is having a hard time breaking the maternal strings. Wyatt is gorgeous and sexy and has the reader hoping that all will work out between the two of them. And the mystery surrounding all the accidents that are happening to Elspeth give enough action and suspense to move the plot along.

Argeneau #27, What I love about this series is that they can be read as a stand alone. That's what I think anyways, I mean I have been reading this series of and on for years, each one is fun. Even with as big as this family is and all the characters where it would be easy to get lost in all the characters Sands is really good about that
