A big thank you to NetGalley and Kensington for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I have read a few of the Dark Protector Series, but not all of them. I obviously had forgotten some things, as I was a little confused. The assumption is that you have some prior knowledge, and I was lost a bit. The characters are strong and interesting. As a beginning of a new series I was a little disappointed because of my confusion. But overall, I enjoyed the book. I think most romance readers will enjoy. I rate this book a 4.

Oh my goodness. I was totally fine with the series ending the way it did. I didn't know I needed more of the Karys family. But WOW!! Way to bring the whole Realm back on line! Great twist to what we already know of this world. Sometimes follow up books don't do as well as authors would like but Vampire's Faith made the whole series fresh again.

This one is about Ronan Karys. It took me a bit to sort out who he was and what was happening. I was goign back and re-reading previous books to refresh my memory--because, again, I thought I was good with how the series ended. I would recommend not starting the series on this book. As the story started to unfold, pieces fell into place and all the little light bulbs started coming on.

Ronan and Faith together were perfect. Ronan trying to catch up with the 21 Century was humorous. Vampires, Demons, Shifters, Witches....the whole gang is back together and I couldn't be happier. Lots of action!

Now, gimme more please!! I need to know what happens next! Great story!

Vampire's Faith is the first book in the continuation of the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti. It brings to light new faces from times past and present along with a deeper insight into the history of the Vampire Kurjan war. While some of our favorite characters from the earlier books do make cameos in Vampire's Faith, the focus is on illuminating a new mythos with brand new characters and relationships.

This book introduces Faith Cooper, a Doctor par excellence. She works with coma patients and has the ability to reach even those that no one else can. She gets dragged in the middle of a centuries old war and plays her part admirably

Ronan Karys is a highly powerful vampire/demon hybrid who is an ancestor of the the vampire ruling family. He was bound in another dimension hundreds of years ago, and sacrificed centuries trying to contain an ancient evil, a monster who would tear the world apart.

Together, Ronan and Faith work together with his brethren to hold the ancient cage intact while fighting enemies hot on their trail. This bookis truly spellbinding. Rebecca Zanetti creates characters with such depth that you just can't help rooting for them.

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is the newest installment of the Dark Protectors series, and it definitely more than met my expectations, which for Ms. Zanetti are pretty high. While I have jumped around in this series I haven't read quite all of the novels. enough to fall into Ms. Zanettis' cleverly laid trap. I loved the way this plot worked out, and that Faith was a hard sell. I also liked that while Ronan was a dominant male he was able to tone it down to get to know Faith.

The characters are, as always, engaging and unique as well as somewhat flawed. I liked that Ronan was not up to date and a genius, as well as that Faith was skeptical and had a temper. They really made the book flow and pulled the reader in. It was fun to see where their romance was heading, even with all the interference. The secondary characters make me hope that there will be more than a few books added to this story, because I need to know what Garrett and Logan as well as the rest of the seven are going to end up.

The webs of peoples lives that Ms. Zanetti weaves is intricate and well thought out. She has an innate talent for captivating the reader and making them want more, more of the characters we have read and more of those surrounding them. I'm a glutton Ms Zannetti and you feed my addiction!

I am absolutely over the moon that this author has returned to this world and the joy of knowing the Dark Protectors series is set to continue makes this reader ecstatic.
Ronan sacrificed himself to contain a truly evil despot in a prison dimension but now Ronan finds himself free and in a future he never imagined. For years his sanity was saved by dreams of the woman who could be his Mate and yet here she is alive, real and meant for him.
Faith as a doctor is used to control but the handsome and clearly confused patient just won't listen to her. Being kidnapped by him and introduced to a world she never believed could exist is just the start of Faiths encounter with the supernatural predators that hide amongst us . Faith will do anything to protect her sister Grace who is in a coma but the Vampires might not have Graces best interests at heart !
I loved Ronan so confused initially, so gallant and so very protective. Faith I understood but boy did I want to shake her at times. Bottom line is there are new enemies to fight but the author includes a few of our old favourites making this a worthy continuation of the series. Fast, sexy and imaginative what more could I ask for ?
This voluntary opinion is of a copy I requested from Netgalley and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair.

I loved this book. It has humor, mystery, fantasy, action, and love. It's the perfect combo for a book!

When Dr. Faith Cooper finds a perfectly healthy male patient in a coma she just knows she's being pranked! And oh what a great one it is. That is until it becomes too real!

You'll love this book of you follow any of Mrs. Zanetti's Dark Protectors books. If you're not a reader already you need to catch up because this is fantastic!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Faith is a doctor and an Enhanced human. She can get into the minds of coma patients and help them wake up. Her sister has been in one for two years and she can’t reach her. Ronan is one of the Seven and half vampire half demon. They were formed to guard an evil man. His shield collapses and he was buried under a mountain until he was found. Ronan is thousands of years old and wakes up in this time. As soon as he touches Faith, the mating mark appears on his hand. Faith doesn’t believe any of this but she is slowly convinced by the things Ronan can do. When she is kidnapped Ronan will do anything to get her back.
I absolutely loved this book. It is funny, suspenseful, and very sexy. It will keep you on the edge of your seat while also wondering what will happen next.

When I heard that Rebecca Zanetti was returning to the world of the Dark Protectors I was thrilled. In this book we are introduced to Ronan Karys. Dage is still the king. This is a separate story which does involve many of those in the Dark Protector world.
We are introduced to Ronan and his brothers in arms. They are joined by some favorites. The way the new storyline mixes with the Dark protector world we know is find so well. The new characters introduced are fascinating and I can’t wait until I know more about their backstories. Ronan’ s mate is Faith who needs much convincing that he is immortal and that she is his mate. Their relationship is funny and sexy and all in all very entertaining. It’s a fun fast read with so many intricate details. It’s a book you can’t put down. I’m eagerly awaiting the next book.

Advanced Readers Copy Courtesy of Netgalley...:)

I cannot even begin to tell you how happy I was to take a walk in the Dark Protectors World again. It is hands down one of my favorite series ever, and as usual Rebecca Zanetti hit this one out the park.

Ronan Karys wakes up after being in another realm for centuries where he and 6 of his brothers were guarding one of the evilest beings ever created. He wakes up to come face to face with his future mate Faith, who he soon discovers knows nothing about vampires or that she is an enhanced human, never mind that she does not want to mate Ronan at all.

Dr Faith Cooper is a leading expert in coma patients and has spent her life trying to help those who need her, including her sister who has been in a coma for the last 2 years. When she gets called in to assist on a patient, the last thing she ever expected was to find herself in a world where things like vampires, demons, witches or shifters occur. Yet here she is finding herself on the run with a vampire named Ronan who claims she is his mate.

I dont want to give too much away but as per usual with this wickedly talented author, the book reads like a fine wine that you do not want to end and I found myself watching the little counter block at the end of my kindle dreading the closer it got to 100%.

I was super ecstatic to discover my favorites Logan and Garrett in this book, and if finally looks like its going to be there time to get the HEA as they are going to play major roles in what is going to happen with the seven.

Cannot wait for the next book whom I hoping is going to be Grace's story!!!

Another job well done in world that I would give anything to live in in real life.....:)

This is part of the Dark Protector's series and I would definitely read those books first so you can get an understanding of the world they live in and what lead up to the start of this story ARC. This one is about Ronan Kayrs and Dr. Faith Cooper. Ronan gave up everything in order to keep the world safe. Including knowing and having the woman who haunted his dreams all during that time. He was never supposed to be where he is now and needs to understand exactly what is happening and why. Faith is human and has no idea of the other species or world's that co-exist with her own. And when the existence of vampire's is shown to her, her whole world changes. Beyond what she (or Ronan) may be ready for.

When this book was first announced I was beyond curious as to who Ronan was since we hadn't seen him in any of the previous books or even heard his name mentioned in any way. I think all of us were wondering how he could be related to the King and never be mentioned. And boy did the explanation not disappoint at all! I love how this story comes about and the reason's why Ronan is a mystery person, along with some others that I won't mention! He is definitely an Alpha male just like his relatives and he isn't afraid to show his mate not only how much he cares for her but what he will do to keep her safe. Faith is a woman who seem's to care about everyone, which makes her a great doctor but can lead to other issues. But she is definitely strong and smart and more than willing to do what she can to help others. I loved this book! From start to finish I couldn't put it down. Not only do I love the main characters but I love the side characters too! I loved seeing a couple of characters we see in other books and finally understanding who they are and understanding other's fate or course they are on. I can't wait to see where this new story ARC takes us!!

Welcome back to the world of Rebecca Zanetti’s Dark Protectors! Vampire’s Faith is the exhilarating first book of a completely new vampire/demon/Kurjan series.

Who is vampire king Ronan Kayrs? Why has he appeared now, approximately seven years since the Realm vampires vanquished the diabolical Virus-27 and their Kurjan rivals? What was he doing in a “coma” in a Colorado hospital? And why does he claim to have seen his new neurosurgeon, Dr. Faith Cooper, in his dreams?

The answer to these really intriguing questions lies in an elaborate shadow plot line that stems directly from consequences of the previous war. Ronan, to quote his bewildered but aroused fated mate, is “sexy on a sexy stick of pure melted sexiness”. Meanwhile Faith has her hands full navigating between her new reality and her science-based prejudices, her fears for family and her own independence, and her feelings for an anachronistic vampire from an entirely different millennium. Through it all, this couple exuded non-stop hotness and sexual tension!

Despite my love for Ronan and Faith, I couldn’t help feeling like a kid in a candy store wanting every gorgeous delectable treat in sight! There is a new cast of players including a tirelessly hot Viking (yum!), a crazy but loyally hot Russian (yummy!), a broodingly hot Scotsman (drool!), and a couple of young Realm favourites who having been oozing power and sex-appeal for some time now. (Want! Want! Want!)

The new plot line has depth, potential, humour, danger, suspense, nostalgia ... checking off all the boxes on a paranormal lover’s wish list. Not only does Zanetti’s latest book guarantee hours of re-readable enjoyment, I absolutely can not wait for the rest of this exciting series to unfold. There are new baddies to defeat and new mates to be discovered. This was wonderfully creative and well written!

(An ARC was provided via NetGalley, but my opinion is sincere and entirely my own.)

OMG! I feel like I have been waiting forever for this latest book in the Dark Protectors series. I absolutely LOVED it! Ronan and Faith are awesome!

It felt IN-FREAKING-CREDIBLE to get back into the Dark Protector World, only now it feels even more intense, wild, and yet a hundred percent fresh and shockingly new!

One of the things I love best about Rebecca Zanetti's books is the way the characters are portrayed. The heroes are pure alpha, utterly protective, caring and will show their women who lays down the law. Not in a cruel mean way, but in a sizzling-freaking-HOT way that not only have the heroines begging but us readers too! And lets not forget about these heroines. Oh so smart, soft hearted, strong, stubborn and they sure can match the heroes in passion, that is for sure!

Vampire's Faith brings us a true warrior from old. He is CENTURIES old, and when he comes to in the modern world the only thing that makes sense to him is Faith. And Faith certainly didn't expect to be drawn to such a bold warrior. I was ill prepared for how much this book would pull me in. I mean I knew it was going to be good, but this is a WHOLE NEW WORLD kind of good. Much more bold with true warriors that are way more powerful than you could of ever guessed. This story has a boat load of twists, surprises, mind boggling action and pantie melting passion that left me so H-O-T, I am surprised my kindle didn't have scorch marks on it! I am now BEGGING Miss Zanetti once again, for MORE in this darker, hypnotizing new Dark Protector world!

Vampire's Faith gets a MIND BENDINGLY THRILLING FIVE BRIGHT SHOOTING STARS!

Really enjoyed this and can't wait to read the rest of the series. Fans of Lara Adrian`s Breed series will love it

I am always Team Zanetti when it comes to books, and while her suspenses are more in my wheelhouse, I thoroughly enjoyed VAMPIRE'S FAITH. Vampires aren't my usual hero, but I enjoyed the eighth installation of this Dark Protectors series with abandon--I read it in a day.

I loved Vampire King Ronan Kayrs. Though he'd sacrificed himself a thousand years ago to be one of Seven who created (and served as) the shield for a prison dimension, he proved to be highly intelligent and resourceful when his piece of the puzzle shattered and he found himself in a new millennium. For an old fogey, he was surprisingly forward-thinking, while being gallant and protective of his lady love, Dr. Faith Cooper.

It's easy for Ronan to be further along in the attraction than the Doc because he'd been dreaming of her for years. Faith is an interesting character, too ... intelligent, accomplished, protective. Though she's initially wary of Ronan (because he kidnaped her and, hello, vampire!), she comes around once the truth of this new world is revealed to her. Vampires, demons, shifters, witches ... she's not in Kansas anymore. But she is determined to watch after her sister, Grace, who's been in a coma for two years. And no hot vampire mate is going to stop her from keeping Grace alive. Ronan, I loved immediately and throughout the story; Faith, I wanted to slap on occasion and make her snap out of it. But in the end, Ronan is able to save the day and get the girl ... and leave the reader with a healthy dose of hope for the future.

Zanetti is the literary equivalent of a vocalist who can sing the phonebook: whatever the plot, whatever the characters, whatever the world, Zanetti is a damn good storyteller.

I am a big fan of Rebecca Zanetti's work and this new book in the Dark Protector series didn't disappoint. Faith, a scientist, didn't even know vampires existed but when she meets Ronan, one of the Seven, she finds out all about the paranormal world. Ronan has seen Faith in his dreams and knows that she is meant for him. I read this in one sitting because I didn't want to put it down. Lots of action and paranormal romance!

Well Ronan sure is a charming man, "tension rolled off him, filtering around her. “Mate me and find out.” When Ronan is disturbed while he is with his woman it's not a pretty sight, “What?” he bellowed, standing next to the bed fully aroused, fury lining his face." Faith keeps tabs on her man, she knows his every movement, “I felt you leave last night.” Even in her sleep, she had known when he’d slipped from the bed." I liked this book, Faith was one determined lady and Ronan was one stubhorn man.

I am reluctant to write this review, Ms Zanetti. For one – my polite little Canadian heart rebels against complaint and possible offense. And two – I’m a little terrified that leaving a negative review will get me banned from being invited to read your work in the future.
But honesty is always best, and so I will lead with the pros:
Literally anything related to DP and the apparent continuation of the series makes me positively giddy. I re-read this series every couple of months. With this new branch, I am SO looking forward to the new storylines and characters (all of which were written spectacularly, and I can’t wait to meet).
The worldbuilding and introductions of not only the new characters but the myths, rituals and circumstances were vivid and compelling.
I liked the anti-hero vibe we got off of the Seven. They drink, they make mistakes, they’re a hurting unit of colourful, entertaining characters full of flaws of tragedy.
Also, Ms Zanetti can write a love scene like nobody’s business. (I only wish there were more; by far the best and most steamy was like 10 pages from the end of the book. Disappointing.)
Cons:
Probably everything else.
In no particular order, I really feel like writing Ronan as slightly goofy and out of his element was an interesting attempt to do something different; but what a fail. He’s not presented as the dominant Kayrs male architype we all instantly lust over and fall for, and by the time we see him come into his own the plot has already nosedived so bad you just can’t even. So even though he’s likely pretty awesome, you never really see him in that light til the very end of the book. What’s the point of a romance without the main man giving you flutters?
All the interruptions. Like…. Way too many. Once, maybe would fly…. But good grief. I started skipping through the subsequent sex scenes just to check to see if they ever *actually* got the deed done. It was distracting, and a waste of some good chances for sex scenes (always a yay!) AND a chance for Faith and Ronan to come together as a couple and save the mediocrity of their relationship AND a chance for Ronan to show some of that hunky dominance that we read DP for.
Faith. She’s a nitwit. She does very possibly nothing likeable (except the very obvious mention of animal rescue placed ever so not-subtly in the first chapter) and runs around like a selfish, flighty idiot putting everyone in danger (GARRET!!!), causing confusion and destruction and harm. If she was a likable person, maybe the ensuing chaos would be worth it; but I actually found myself wishing they’d all let her stupidity get her gruesomely murdered and give Ronan a second chance with someone who didn’t suck. She was an irritating liability, nothing more.
Honestly, Faith is the first Zanetti lady that I have actively disliked. I actually considered not finishing their story, but continued on in hopes that maybe my dislike is just a personal quirk and I wanted to follow the plot to prepared to love the rest of the series.
Because I *so* am prepared to love these new characters and stories and remain excited for literally everyone else’s stories. Just because there’s a lack of chemistry between these two and Faith as a person really didn’t do it for me, I have every intention of continuing on as a huge fan of Ms Zanetti and her DP world.
(I have to apologize. I’m positive that was unintentionally the meanest thing I’ve ever written in my life)

Vampire's Faith by Rebecca Zanetti is book 8 in the Dark Protectors series. This is the story of Ronan Kayrs and Dr. Faith Cooper. This is the first book I have read in this series so for me it was easily a standalone book.
Faith is a coma specialist called in when Ronan is found. When Faith exams him she thinks it is a prank because of his medial signs. But Ronan awakes while she is with him and he instantly knows her. Ronan didn't think he would survive the sacrifice he made but he always saw Faith's face and knew she would be his mate. But she isn't so sure of what or who he is.
This was an exciting story that kept me turning the page until I was done. I really want to read the story of Faith's sister Grace and hope that is next.
