Oh. My. Gawd. This book. It took the relative creep factor of psychological thriller genre and stomped on it like a hapless bug! It had me saying What?! anytime I noticed my children looking at me for just a tad too long! Trust me fellow readers with kids, Hanna will have you hugging your offspring, thanking them for not trying to end you on a daily basis! And should they give you a raised eyebrow or exchange the "Mom's finally lost it' look with their siblings just have them read this and no further explanation will be needed. The strong emotion this book brought out in me while reading it, in one sitting I might add, is only proof that this is an author I literally would beg, borrow, or steal to read more from! If you only need one supremely creeptastic book this year to fulfill that don't read it in the dark need, make it Bad Apple!
