IN BED WITH THE BEAST by Tara Sivec was just so laugh out loud funny and swoony all at the same time. I loved this book so much, this is book two in the series, and I would highly recommend that you read book one first, as it will give you the story on how Belle comes to be where she is in this book.

This is Belle's story, we met Belle in book one, when three of the most unlikely new friends, who are down on their luck financially decide, after they are asked to do what they think is a "princess party" but turns out to be they were asked to come as the "adult" entertainment, to do just that, they open the Naught Princess Club, adult entertainment for adult parties.

Belle is a bookworm trying to save the library she works at, Beast (aka Vincent) is a bouncer at the stripper bar where Belle and her friends are learning how to strip for their business. These two together seem like the most opposite you could get, but once he walls come down and Beast least Belle in, there are the most amazing sparks and love from these two. Will Belle be able to handle the Beast??

I have not read many of Tara Sivec books, but the ones I have read are just amazing, from books that make you cry to this one that had me laughing so hard I almost wet my pants, I cannot wait to see what this author does with the next book in the series. I would give IN BED WITH THE BEAST 4/5 stars.

The second in the Naughty Princess Club series does not disappoint. It is sexy beyond belief and also so sweet at the same time. It is a riff off of Beauty and the Beast and I dare you to not fall in love with Vincent, the Beast. This has been a fun series so far and I cannot wait to read Ariels story next.

My Thoughts:
Over the years, Tara Sivec has become one of my favorite authors. I just love her books. They're so witty and hilarious. Lately I realized that I've fallen behind on reading her new releases from this year, and wanted to catch up. I loved the first book in her Naughty Princess Club series, so I wanted to pick up the second one, In Bed with the Beast. I just finished it last night, and while I didn't love it as much as the first book, I did really enjoy it.

I was very excited to read a book from Belle's perspective. I figured she would be the woman that I would relate the most to out of the three friends in the series, and I was right. She only feels comfortable at first around her books, and two close friends. Even then, I think she feels more comfortable around the books than the friends. She's nerdy, shy, and incredibly socially awakward. All of the those are traits that I've had all of my life. It made her incredibly easy to relate to, and made me want to root for her to get her happily ever after even more than I already was.

I will admit even though I loved Belle, I didn't connect with In Bed with the Beast as much as I did with the first book in the series. I think it was because the middle of the book got kind of boring for me. I found myself losing interest at times waiting for something to happen between Belle and Beast, or waiting for her to gain her self confidence. It was a struggle to push through because I kept putting it down, and picking up something more interesting. However, when I was able to push through that part, the rest of the book definitely made it worth it. There was a certain scene involving Belle's dad towards the end of the book. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in my life.

Even though In Bed with the Beast wasn't my favorite book in the series, I did still find it enjoyable. I loved Belle. She might be one of my favorite characters that Tara Sivec has written, and I've read most of her books so that's a long list to choose from. I'm very excited to read the next book in the series, which is from Ariel's perspective. I can't wait for more of her foul-mouthed, dark sense of humor. I think her point of view will be the funniest yet.

I give In Bed with the Beast: 3.5/5.

I can always count on Tara Sivec to show me a good time! And add in a Beauty and the Beast homage....SOLD! This was an unputdownable book that had me smiling and swooning. Highly recommend!

What else can I say? This book is so freaking funny and on point with Tara Sivec's entire catalog of books. The characters are on point. Likeable, loveable, and did I forget to mention, sexy? With this being a little bit of a play on Beauty and the Beast, this Disney lover couldn't help, but fall in love with the modern day rendering.

This was a Cute take on Beauty and the Beast.
Vincent "Beast" is the bouncer at Charming's which is a strip club the Naughty Princesses have to debut at before they are able to start "hosting" their own parties. Isabelle "Belle" is the geeky, book nerd that shoots off random facts of nothingness when she is nervous, a quirk that is really endearing.

This book was so cute and had me laughing out loud so many times I had tears rolling down my cheeks. It was a light and easy read that will grab you right from the start and keep you engrossed until the very last page. I didn't read the first book in the series which I will be reading soon because these three friends are a riot. If you are looking for a good laugh and a steamy read all in one you'll want to be In Bed with the Beast ;) Happy Reading!!!

I can’t get enough of these naughty princesses! Belle is my new favorite and not just because she takes the beast! This was hot and emotional and I devoured it!

This is book 2 in the Naughty Princess Club. It can be read as a standalone but the characters are in each book and I recommend them all. I somehow started with book 3 and am making my way back through them backwards. 😂
Love Belle and Beast’s story. Beast is definitely all alpha but I love how Belle brings out the sweet, romantic side in him! Such a cute, sweet book that had me blushing one minute and laughing hysterically the next!! Look forward to finally reading Cindy’s story in book 1.

Another princess turned stripper!
I really liked the first one, but I may have liked this one more.
This book is every book girl's dream!
Belle lives with her dad who is over protective in the best way, but she has to sneak in and out to hang with her new stripper friends. Her dad does not approve, so she ends up moving out, with no place to go she lives/sleeps at the library. A library she is trying to save from being closed.
It means everything to her.
Enter Vincent, aka Beast.
Belle wants the storybook love, but Beast says time and time again that's not something he's able to give. He's been burnt before and won't survive it again.
I absolutely loved these characters, big and small.
The whole story I was laughing out loud, but loved watching these characters grow and swoon at their fairy tale love.

In Bed With the Beast is the second book in the Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. I have not read the previous book, but found that it only left my curious about the earlier, and next, book in the series. I was still able to fully enjoy the read.

Living in her overprotective dad’s basement, shy Belle lives her life through books. Being a part of the Naughty Princess Club is the first adventure she’s ever had, plus she desperately needs the money to save one of her favorite places - the local library. But when her new friends and new business gets her kicked out of her dad’s house, Belle is rescued by the surly Vincent “Beast” Adams who invites her to be his house guest until she gets back on her feet. Despite his attitude problem and long list of rules, Belle finds herself warming to the muscled man with a penchant for growling and starts seeing a gentle side to him that wasn’t there before. Yet there’s a room that Beast keeps locked and Belle keeps getting hints that Beast is hiding something. Can a nerdy librarian tame the beast or will their romance be over before it has a chance to blossom?

In Bed With the Beast is a romance about a sweet and fairly innocent woman coming into her own. Belle needs to stand up for herself and get her independence and come to terms with her sexuality. I enjoyed seeing her stand up to Vincent, and his quiet but determined kindness. I think the combination of slightly over sweet Belle and grumpy 'Beast" was overplayed on occasion, but I still enjoyed the story. I thought Belle went along with everyone else's plans for her far too long, and wanted her to step it up much earlier than she did, but the pacing did work itself out for the most part. One thing I would have really loved, is to see some of the story through Beast/Vincent's eyes. I think his inner monologue as he watched Belle, or listened to her spout interesting facts, or was irritated and pinching the bridge of his nose would have been highly entertaining. Every time I did not get a chapter in his voice I was a little disappointed, but I can always hope for a short story or novella to fill that gap.

In Bed With the Beast is a fun fairy tale with a twist. While not the best I have read, it peaked my interest enough that I will read the other books in the series when I run across them.

This was another fun read in The Naughty Princess series. I think Ms. Sivec has done an excellent job of taking the fairy tales we love and turning them into more of an adult story. In this one, Belle and Vincent are loosely tied to Beauty and the Beast. Belle is the nerdy girl who works at the library and loved books and Vincent is the growly beast who works as a bouncer at a strip club. Who knew that these two would hit it off and that underneath that growly exterior is the heart of a prince. I think these stories are so much fun and a great escape. I can't wait for the last one!

WONDERFUL AND FUNNY READ! TOTALLY RECOMMEND. LOVE ALL THIS AUTHOR'S STORIES. A MUST READ WITH A HAPPY ENDING

The moment I read the first book, At the Stroke of Midnight, I knew I would love this series. It is hilarious and the characters are all so lovely and charming. Plus, the covers of each novel are beautiful. Surprisingly, the next book focuses on Belle. Which I’m also excited about because there’s not enough Belle in Cindy’s story. I devoured the pages happily. As usual, the names and some circumstances are quite similar to the fairytale. I adore Belle and her endless spewing of random facts at any given time. Her passion for books and the desire to save the library is endearing. I love how she came out of her shell from a shy girl to an independent, self-assured woman. How she finally stood up for herself and finds her voice and who she wants to be. Vincent, on the other hand, is not as bad-tempered as he led people to believe. He is quite gentle and has a big heart and just totally intriguing since he gives off a mysterious vibe. Belle and Vincent are just so good together. The dynamics between Cindy, Belle, and Ariel is wonderful. I enjoyed the minor characters as well.

This book had me laugh out loud and chuckle countless of time that I even shared it with my husband as he wanted to know why I’m laughing hysterically. There’s not much conflict in the story which make it for light reading. There’s a right amount of humor, romance, sexiness, and empowerment to keep me entertained. Tara Sivec’s writing is impressive as always and I’m pretty sure there’s not a lot who can do humor, romance and steamy so well. Despite being part of a series, it can very well read as a standalone but I definitely recommend reading the first one, too. Overall, a fun and entertaining read with lovable characters. If you’re looking for a hilarious, sexy romcom, this is definitely it.

Just loved it. If you are a huge Tara Sivec fan like I am you will want to give this book a read. This is the second book in the series but it easily reads as a standalone. I love a good adult fairytale and this is one of my all-time favorites this is a really fun addition to the series I just loved the characters and the fact they were just so odd made me like them even more I cannot wait for the next book

4 “Beauty and the Beast” stars!

Isabelle is one of the owners of the Naughty Princess Club, a home party stripping company. Though she doesn’t partake in the actual stripping, she makes enough to make ends meet, barely. She manages the town library but without adequate funding the library will be shut down. When she is left without a home and dwindling cash, she decides she needs to start stripping to get the money needed to save the library.

Vincent, aka Beast, is a bouncer at Charming’s strip club. When he starts coming around the library, Isabelle can’t imagine that he’s there for her. Soon he’s invading her space and giving her an offer she can’t refuse – a place to stay free of rent. She also needs experience with men before she can start stripping and who better to help her than her new roommate, the sexy beast who works at a strip club?

This book is so much fun! It’s full of humor and heart, and I couldn’t keep the smile off my face. It's a great twist on the classic Beauty and the Beast fairytale and I loved it.

Isabelle is a hoot. The things that flip through her brain and come out of her mouth are hilarious. She thinks getting experience with guys will help her strip and so she goes on dates that couldn’t be more awkward or entertaining. During the story she goes through wonderful character growth especially as she starts to see what Vincent sees when he looks at her. She goes from shy and naïve to bold and confident, and I loved watching her take charge of her life.

Vincent is broody, sexy, and a total alpha. He isn’t an open book and comes across as a grouch. He is a mystery and Isabelle can’t figure him out. Soon we see that Vincent is so much more than what meets the eye. Under the beastly exterior he is thoughtful, sweet, and totally swoon worthy.

“Look at me,” I whisper…
“I am looking at you. I’ve been looking at you since the day you first came to Charming’s. I tried to slam the door in your face, and you put your hands on your hips and told me off,” he says with a fierce look in his eyes. “You are the highest caliber of woman I have ever met in my life. You don’t take my shit, you aren’t afraid of me even though you should be, and you have absolutely not fucking idea how goddamn beautiful and sexy you are.”

Isabelle and Vincent are great together. They drive each other crazy yet you can see the attraction grow. They have great chemistry and are hot when they give into their desires. Though I enjoyed the steam, the interactions outside the bedroom were just as good as the ones inside. The entertaining banter and sweet moments made me smile, and watching Isabelle and Vincent open up as they learn to trust one another warmed my heart. I loved watching them fall hard and realizing they were perfect for each other.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than the risk of falling in love. Sometimes you hit a few roadblocks along the way, but it’s always worth it in the end.”

I have to give a shout out to the other members of the Naughty Princess Club. Just like Isabelle, Cindy and Ariel are awesome. They are all such good friends and are honest and open with each other. They are ridiculously entertaining, and I loved guessing what they’d do next. I can’t wait to get more of them! Mrs. Potter was hilarious, too, and added even more laughs to the story.

Though In Bed with the Beast is the second book in the Naughty Princess Club series, it can be read as a complete standalone. It’s the first I have read of the series and will definitely not be the last. I can’t wait to dive into Cindy and Ariel’s stories, At the Stroke of Midnight and Kiss the Girl.

Once upon a time... three Beautiful women lived on or near Fairytale Lane. The first book in the series tells us how the group came together and is the story of Cynthia (Cindy Ella) and how she finds her Prince Charming. This book is about Isabelle, aka Belle. The shy librarian lives in her father's basement, uses every cent she makes to buy books and falls in love with The Beast, aka Vincent, who is the bouncer at Charmings Nightclub. When Belle decides to stand up to her father, he throws her out of the house. After spending several nights sleeping on the floor of the library, Vincent suggests an alternate living arrangement. She also wants to start doing parties for the Naughty Princess Club so has to shake off her shyness and naivety to dance at Charmings.

Belle is a hoot. This shy librarian can really let someone have it when she gets angry. When her sexy side is let loose, her and Beast have some interesting meetings, one taking place in her library. Ariel and Cindy are also a part of this story, but Belle takes center stage. We also get to know a bit more about her father in this story. I just love how Tara Sivec comes up with these ideas and makes them both hilarious and sexy. I actually enjoyed Belle's story more than Cindy's so I am looking forward to reading the next/last book in this series to see what she comes up with. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley.

This was an okay read for me and it was the first book in this series that I read. I had a hard time with the characters and the plot of the story did not hold my interest. I would have like to see more from Vincent's POV in this story. Overall this just was okay for me.

This was another great read from Tara Sivec. As usual there are laughs, along with sexy times and just a good story. Anytime I need a quick and funny read I grab one of her books.

Things I know to be true:

The sun rises in the east and sets in the west.
I love cheese.
Tara Sivec’s rom-coms make me laugh. Loudly. Okay, they make me snaugh (snort + laugh = snaugh)

Trust me when I tell you that In Bed with the Beast, the second book in Tara’s Naughty Princess Club series is no different. this book had me laughing loud enough that I was getting looks from the both the human and feline populations of my house. But even more, In Bed with the Beast is a wonderful romance that will make you ever so swoony.

Being in Isabelle’s head is like playing a trivial pursuit on a constant loop. I freaking loved it. But even more, watching her metamorphosis from her father’s daughter into the woman who can command a room/stage was a total blast. Belle is a total bad@$$

Under his gruff and buff exterior, Vincent Adams is a marshmallow. The loveliest part of the story is seeing this man fall further under the spell of a woman who has no idea that she is even casting one. Sigh.

At the heart of this series is the friendship between Cindy, Belle and Ariel. Together they are a fierce trio who are taking names and kicking some @$$ to make their endeavor a success. This fuels changes in each of their lives that are not voluntary, but absolutely necessary. These women once strangers, are sisters in arms – cheerleaders – the honest voice – the kick in the tail. I love them for being there for each other.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series and can’t wait for Ariel’s story. But it also has me wishing for more stories from Fairytale Lane – Perhaps there is a neighbor that suffers from narcolepsy? Or a woman that has to bring seven unruly brothers to heel? Just a thought….

Get your hands on In Bed with the Beast and get ready to fall in love!!!

Happy reading!!!
