This story ok for me lots of funny and silly moments what I got to know from the author's past works. Belle was not what I expected but she was cute in her own way. Beast was as himself and it was a don't judge a book by his cover moment for them at first. I liked it enough, I got bored by the end plotwise but I kept on.

Belle met Beast in the previous book in this series, At the Stroke of Midnight, at the strip club, Charming’s, where Beast is a bouncer. When Beast starts showing up at the library where Belle works, right before closing, it doesn’t take long for him to figure out she is sleeping in the library and he insists that she move into his spare bedroom.

Belle wants to start stripping for the Naughty Princess Club to earn money to save her failing library, but she needs experience with men so her friends set her up a dating profile and she proceeds to go on a bunch of terrible dates, all while living with Beast and falling for him. I loved that as Belle blooms and gains the confidence to stand up for herself and take chances, that she didn’t really change who she is. I loved that Beast is more than he appears to be and together they are a perfect match.

I was sucked into this story right from the beginning. When the hero or heroine of a story is homeless, it always pulls at my heartstrings and in this case, it definitely did. But Tara Sivec is writing a romcom, so this part of the story, while serious, never felt heavy. This is a comedy and I laughed out loud over and over while reading this book. I loved all of the random facts Belle is forever spouting and I actually thought Belle was pretty cool. This is a story with plenty of zany situations and I just sat back and enjoyed the ride. This gets a solid four stars from me.

I was so very excited to read In Bed with the Beast, book two in The Naughty Princess Club! This has everything: an innocent librarian (that may need "saving"), a ginormous BEAST of a man (who may need to be shown love), and stripping! What more could you possibly want in a book?

Belle has been sheltered her entire life, an adult woman living with her father, it's time for her to take control of her own destiny. Unfortunately, her place of employment is also experiencing upheaval, and she's trying to figure out how to save the town library.

The Beast (swoon) is just a nice guy who is trying to do the right thing. He's no Prince Charming, but he can't turn a blind eye to a damsel in distress...

I loved this story – the tone is completely different than the first book. Each character has their own quirks and are endearing, they are total opposites yet are perfect for each other. This story is cute and funny, steamy and sexy, sweet and sassy. Belle is an amazing characters with her random facts, and shy, sweet personality.

So far this series has been seriously entertaining and I am excited for Ariel's story!

Belle is looking to live her life, but she doesn't know how. But she's made friends with Ariel and Cindy and now she's part of The Naughty Princess Club. Although she's yet to make it on stage. She’s still living at home with her dad and working at the public library and sneaking out of the house to spend time with her friends.

Beast aka Vincent works as bouncer at PJ's strip club. A former English Lit teacher at prep school, he's now a bouncer who has annoying habit of annoying Belle. There's something about him that calls to Belle and when Belle is in need of a knight in shining armor, Vincent is there for her.

Every woman wants a man like Vincent, thoughtful, caring, and a library to die for. His only fault? Not being truthful when he should have been and letting Belle find out his truth from his mouthy friend. His redeeming quality? Making Belle's dream come true.

This is the second in the series – and whilst it would be a great read on its own, I think that understanding the background would make the experience richer.

The quietest, and most unlikely of the Naughty Princess Club trio, Belle the librarian finally stands up for herself and finds her voice... and her dancing body! Her dream is to keep her library open, and she knows that she needs to start earning more money to keep it afloat. This leads to a run of unlikely events, which make wonderful reading. From the confrontation with her father which results in her leaving home, to how she moves in with bouncer Beast, with some hilarious blind dates along the way, Belle finds her hidden sexy side. It is, of course, really most attracted to Beast, but there are issues there which could derail everything.

I love that I knew enough of the fairytale that I could appreciate the links, but there are enough Tara Sivec signature moves that it is also a unique, fun, and original story. I thought the twists were well done, and the ending is (hopefully) a happily ever after.

Really looking forward to Ariel's story!

After reading Stroke of Midnight, book one in Tara Sivec’s Naughty Princess Club,
and laughing my butt off at Cindy, Ariel, and Belle’s antics, I couldn’t wait for more from these three female characters who have drastically different personalities but have formed an amazing bond, empowering one another to take control of their lives and live only for themselves.

In the second book in the series, In Bed with the Beast, Tara Sivec puts her own comedic and sexy spin on the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, and let me tell you, Isabelle ‘Belle’ Reading and Vince ‘Beast’ Adams epitomize their fairytale counterparts, even with the modern makeovers that they receive.

After being introduced to Belle in Cindy’s book, I needed to know Belle’s backstory and understand how this shy bookworm and daddy’s girl found herself friends with Cindy and Ariel, in a position to move in with a man she doesn’t know, and get a job as a stripper to make enough money to support herself and save her library.

I have to admit…I really didn’t know how Sivec was going to make Belle’s transformation believable. She’s the youngest of the trio and her nerdiness and random spouting of facts don’t quite fit the description of someone who takes her clothes off for money, but the combination of getting out of her father’s basement, interacting with two amazing women who help empower her, and living with Vincent - a man whose bark is bigger than his bite - helps Belle to grow and experience life outside of books and the library she loves.

Belle and Vincent are polar opposites so watching their interactions and reactions to one another are quite comical, and between Belle’s note taking and Vincent’s growling responses, it doesn’t seem like they’ll ever share anything more than a place to live, but as Belle’s confidence grows and she becomes more independent, she puts herself out there more and works to act on her attraction to Vincent, intensifying the sexual tension that surrounds them and prompting the slow burn of their relationship to spark.

Anytime Cindy, Ariel, and Belle are together, readers witness hilarious, quite inappropriate, and embarrassing situations but they also see a bond that solidifies the more they help one another to take back their lives and take risks that they would have never done without a little help from their friends.

I really enjoyed reading In Bed with the Beast; it’s highly entertaining, and I love the ladies’ friendship and how their differing personalities allow them to help each other in a number of ways. And now that Ariel’s story is up, I can only imagine what Tara Sivec has in store for her and readers! I cannot wait to find out!!

Again, Tara is a genius! I knew I would be addicted to the Naughty Princess Club books and I am. I absolutely adored Belle! I love when a kinda shy, nerdy heroine grows a back bone throughout the story. And she becomes a stronger version of herself, one that she didn’t know she was capable of becoming. And Beast!! That broody, grumpy, loveable ol’ oaf!! I knew from book 1 that I was gonna fall in love with him. This story was so sweet and the added curveball with Beast was a good addition to the story. I’m so excited for that violent Ariel’s story!

Belle is losing her library and lives with her overbearing father. She even has to sneak out at night. She has had enough so she leaves and lives in the library temporarily until she is rescued by Beast.

This story is humorous has sexual tension like you wouldn't believe, and was a joy to read.

If you are looking for a fun, flirty book, this is the one you have been looking for! Tara Sivec brings you two people who couldn’t be more perfect for each other but they both don’t know how to tell the other person that they are interested. Belle is trying to get out from her overbearing father and when it brings her into Vincent’s path, they both will be in for a wild ride. Not only will they have some wild moments but when Belle is with her two friends, the trouble they will get into will have you laughing out loud.

Library owner by day, naughty princess by night. That’s Isabelle for you. Or at least the one she’s trying to be because her library is about to be shut down and, according to her friends, she’s still too unfamiliar with the male species to be a naughty princess. So first she needs to get comfortable around men so she can make some money so she can save her library. See? Simple. Until her father finds out about her night job and she ends up without a place to stay. Tha’s when Vincent, AKA the beast, makes his appearance as her knight in shining armor.

This was my first book of the series and my first book by Tara Sivec. Obviously, after all the fuss around the previous book of the series, my expectations were really high. And you know what? The book nicely delivered.

The female characters are so well created. From Mrs. Potter (the old lady who helps Isabelle at the library) to the other naughty princesses, I would say that Tara absolutely nailed it. They’re all funny, they say whatever they say and they’re their own bosses.

Vincent’s character is also really good. He’s just a real caveman: a mix o a little bit possessiveness towards his girl, lots of grunts and a lot of ordering around. Between you and me, he’s a really sweet guy deep down.

But my favorite thing about this book was Isabelle’s character. Every time she’s uncomfortable she starts staying random facts which were the funniest thing ever! I mean, it is ten times better than getting beet read like I do everytime I get uncomfortable!

Big warning: there’s something going on on the book that some of you might call sharing. I personally don’t think it is but just to let you know, she’s a pool dancer even when she’s in a relationship with Vincent, which doesn’t involve anything sexual but might still give the creeps.

Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite fairytale. When I read At the Stroke of Midnight, I knew Belle was going to be the character I could most relate to. I couldn't wait to read her book, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. This book was laugh out loud funny. I loved the secondary characters. I loved how Belle's online dates were loosely based on characters in the Disney adaptation. And of course, I loved to see that 3 "princesses" back in action.

Belle lives with her very controlling father. One night, a fight with her father, leaves Belle homeless with no where to go, but her one sanctuary, her library. Too proud to ask for help with her friends, she keeps it a secret. Beast, one of the bouncers from Charming's takes matters into his own hands and brings her to stay with him. He's quiet, rude, and hard to live with. However, Belle knows just how to put him in his place.

I love these ladies so much. I can't wait for the 3rd book in the series. I love Ariel and her loud mouth with no filter. I love Belle's random facts she spouts when she's nervous. I love Cindy's motherly influence. 3 books won't be enough... 5 stars from me!

There is something about reading a book by Tara Sivec.
Everytime makes life easier to deal with.
Even her books that arent funny in nature still pull you from the trials and tribulations of real life and bring you to a place where life isnt always perfect. Life sucks and Taras' charchters show you thats okay too.
Thank you for your heart, your words, and your talent.

Tara Sivec has been one of my favorite authors since 2012. You’d think she is bound to disappoint eventually right? NOPE. Once again, Tara delivers a sweet, funny as hell, totally clever and unique book that was just so much fun to read! In Bed With The Beast is the second in the Naughty Princess Club series. It stands alone well because Tara recaps well, but I think you should totally start with the first, At The Stroke of Midnight, for the best experience.

I didn’t really notice the blatant princess tie-ins in the first book until I was midway through (not having girls, I really don’t know the princess movies that well, but we are Disney people, so I know the gist). But Belle and Beast’s story had a ton of little subtle tie-ins, and I think Beauty and the Beast lovers would find even more than I did. I LOVED how cleverly Tara tied in the three women’s stories to their Princess counterparts. It’s honestly one of the most creative things I’ve read.

“You know, rescuing a damsel in distress is something right out of a fairy tale, Vincent. If you’re not careful, I might think you’re a knight in shining armor.”

We met Beast in the first book, the big, hulking, growling bouncer at Charming’s strip club. Isabelle is the sweet, innocent 25-year-old librarian who has to sneak out of her dad’s house to meet her friends. Belle is shy and meek as a mouse, but she stands right up to the big hulking Beast like nobody else does. Beast has taken to showing up at the library when it gets dark but soon notices that Belle hasn’t been leaving at night. She’s been kicked out of her dad’s house after getting caught sneaking out and has been sleeping on the library floor.

Beast may be quiet, but he is a gentleman. An alpha gentleman, who won’t stand for the beautiful librarian living on the floor of a drafty library. So he takes her home to live in his guest room. Belle knows this is her chance to get comfortable around men, so she jumps at the chance. But the attraction between them is ready to burst free, like when she wears her PJs around him:

“Boys in books do it better,” Vincent reads aloud.
“True story.”
He takes a step towards me and leans forward, placing his hands on either side of the counter, caging me in. “That’s because they’re boys. Maybe you should try a man.”

Belle is desperate to save her library and knows that stripping is the way to go, but she needs to loosen up and practice being sexy, practice being around men, and practice dancing.

“Okay. Dance. I can do this.” I speak the words softly, more to myself than to Vincent. Nodding my head to the slow beat of the music, I start moving. First, my arms go out in front of me, one at a time. Then, I smack them down on each shoulder, one at a time. Next, each hand goes behind my head, and then down to my hips, which I proceed to shimmy and shake.
“What the hell is that?” he asks, causing me to abruptly stop moving.
“It’s the Macarena. Heeeeey Macarena!” I sing. “It’s the only dance I know without using the chair. You totally broke my concentration. Now I’m going to have to start over.”

I loved the friendship between the three women. And I absolutely loved Belle’s penchant for spouting facts when she was nervous.

“You talk a lot.”

My favorite thing is how much Belle changed and grew and became a self-confident woman in this story, and that’s really what this series is about. While yes, the women all find love, but they find themselves as well.

Likes:
•So many cute tie-ins to Beauty and the Beast.
•I smiled and laughed out loud numerous times.
•The friendship between the three friends.
•Mrs. Potter was awesome.
•How Belle’s dad redeemed himself.
•Beast’s growly, alpha beastliness.
•Learning Beast’s background.
•Watching Belle mature and grow into a strong woman.
•The happy, feel-good escape this book afforded me.

Dislikes:
•I didn’t really dislike anything, but I would love a bonus chapter or something from Beast’s POV.

Can Go Either Way:
•Tara does a pretty extensive recap which I think I would have appreciated if I hadn’t just re-listened to At the Stroke of Midnight. But since I did, it felt like a little too much of a recap.

The Down & Dirty:
I LOVED At the Stroke of Midnight, and I loved In Bed with the Beast MORE! This is a modern take on Beauty and the Beast and I felt like the first book had more subtle nods to Cinderella. I loved the way this one tied into the original fairy tale in so many little ways. It was SO CLEVER! The Naughty Princess series is like Bad Moms and Disney Princesses had a mash-up. Ariel is my favorite of the three, and I have seen Tara post that Ariel’s book, Kiss the Girl, is her favorite of the three, and I know it will be mine too. I CAN’T FREAKING WAIT.
NOTE: I listened to At the Stroke of Midnight after reading it, and let me tell you, CJ Bloom is an AMAZING narrator for this series. She does each woman’s voice so distinctly and perfectly, I can’t wait to re-listen to this one before Kiss the Girl releases.

Rating: 5 Stars, 3.5 Heat

"You know, rescuing a damsel in distress is something right out of a fairy tale, Vincent. If you're not careful, I might think you're a knight in shining armor."
"I'm nobody's hero, princess. And this isn't a fairy tale."

I was invited to read this title and since I've always wanted to read some material by this author, i just grab the opportunity...
And it was a very good decision, i can say!!!
God, this was so damn funny and at times, i can say surreal... And i had such a great time reading it!!!
I think i want more and more...

I have to admit that i haven't read the first book of 'The Naughty Princess club" series YET, but even though that i took some hints about it, it was easy to follow the storyline of the second book...
To be totally honest with you, The Naughty Princess club was a little bit surreal...
Three women decided to form this club, a business, which was about them being strippers!!!
Yep, you heard right!!! It was weird in a way, but it was also hillarious...

This book was about Isabelle, a shy sheltered librarian, whom join this club was the most exciting thing in her whole life... Isabelle's goal is to earn enough money from this job for saving her library... The only problem is that she hasn't decide yet to start dancing... LOL
Unfortunately, this new friendship with the other two members of the club, Ariel and Cynthia, cost her her home and her father, who kicked her out of his house...
Now, Belle is desperate and she had to trust Beast, a man that she is not very sure that she liked...

Beast is kind of an enigma and he is very broody and silent, but Belle is making him wild in many ways... He agreed to let her live in his house and the problems are starting...
He just have some rules for her to follow, especially the one with the sealed room, but Isabelle is refusing to follow his rules...
At the same time, she is asking him to help her to be more confident and sexy in order to start dancing and earning the money that she needs so desperately...
So, what will happen with those two when they are so opposite from each other???
Will shy Belle tame the Beast???

"I'm not a happily-ever-after guy, princess."

God, i loved Belle so damn much!!! She was so innocent and easygoing, but at the same time, especially toward Vincent, she was a wild cat who was refusing to let others to put her down... She was also hillarious... I was laughing so hard with her daily adventures!!!!
Belle was a romantic too... She was expecting her knight in shining armor to shake her world!!!
But Beast was far away from this concept!!!

I also loved Vincent very much... I loved his grunts and growls... I loved how protective he was of Belle, even though that he didn't want to show it... I loved the little things that he was doing for her... And i loved that he was more than he was showing... even though to be true with you, his former self looked a little bit unreal in comparison with who he was at the present...

Well, except Vincent and Belle, there were also so many funny and interesting characters in here...
First of all, i adored Mrs. Potter!!! God, this woman was hillarious!!! I just loved her crazy old ass!!!
Secondly, i liked very much Belle's father... He was a little bit crazy too!!!
The other two members of the club, Cynthia and Ariel were crazy too, and I'm very curious about Ariel's turn!!!
I also liked very much Belle's dates... I laughed so damn hard with those unreal guys!!! Bahahaha
And PJ's reaction in Belle's first lap dance cracked me up!!!
As you can understand, i can not wait for the sequel!!! LOL

I don't really know how to rate this one because parts of it were cute, but it was also SO wacky and weird too. I finished it, and I have no problem marking books as DNF, so it has that going for it. I loved the library parts and I liked Belle overall. The whole set up was just a bit weird and not fleshed out enough for me though. Will not be picking up the others in the series.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book (given by Netgalley)...

This series is so quirky, I love it! As you can probably tell this book is based on Beauty and the Beast, but has its own spin. Belle, the nerdy book-loving librarian who is part owner and participant of The Naughty Princess Club meets Vincent "Beast" Adams who is a rude bouncer and a book-lover as well.

We return back to FairyTale Lane, and this time Belle is major need of financial assistance and decides she will be next one to help Cindy out with the stripping gigs. Belle has just been kicked out by her father and her library is about to be closed so she decides it's time study and learn how to be flirty as well as sexy and chooses poor Beast for practice.

If you read At the Stroke of Midnight (which you should), you already know Vincent and Belle have a connection, but Vincent being his surly self made it a smidge difficult for Belle. However, the big bad Vincent couldn't resist Belle's innocence for long, but while Belle is being completely honest with Vincent, he may not be reciprocating the sentiment.

I loved the disastrous dates she went on with Gus Tone, Steven Luminous (that definitely had a twist) and Dusty (can't be sure that really was a nervous tick). And we can not forget the awesomeness that is Mrs. Potter.

I need Ariel and Eric's story, the banter between is flipping hilarious and very intense. I am surprised that Ariel is the last Naughty Princess because I thought she would have been the first one out there; can't wait to see her story, I feel like it's going to be more heartbreaking than we thought.

I'm so weak when it comes to Beauty and the Beast retellings. It's probably my favourite fairy tale ever. This one has an interesting twist, since Belle has to work as a stripper to help her save her beloved library and when daddy kicks her out, Beast offers her accommodation. I absolutely love it.

I'm a sucker for beauty and the beast books. While this book is a little more graphic than the regular romance books I read, I still loved it.

enjoyed this book by Tara Sivec. Was a fun read that had me laughing and smiling while reading. I like the take on the classic Beauty and the Beast with the romantic adult twist. A story to read as a fun, laugh out loud sexy bedtime story.

This is my first book by this author. The story is a very light humorous read with a spin on Belle and the Beast. It's a 2nd in a series but is a standalone......which is how I read it. I don't think you miss anything by not reading Cindy's book. At times there were parts where it was so ridiculous, it was funny but for the most part I just couldn't get into the humor because it was so far fetched. I think this author is known for this kind of humor but it's just not my cup of tea. Belle is a nerdy librarian who is trying to keep her precious library open. Beast/Vincent is a bouncer with a past. There is a lot of interaction with her friends Cindy and Ariel, who I found to be extremely annoying. In fact I dont want to read about Ariel because of her personality in this a book. I found Beast a bit lacking in personality and the chemistry between the 2 was lacking. Also I was annoyed with how Belle reacted to what Beast was hiding....she was very wishy washy. The book was fine if you're in the mood for a funny and very light-hearted read.

I got a big kick out of this book! I thought Belle's idea to save the library was unconventional, but that's what made this a fun read. Of course Vincent acts like a Beast, but over the course of the book we get to see how Belle comes to relate to him. Quite a unique spin on the classic fairy tale.

This book just missed the mark for me. I did like Belle and all her nerdy, little trivia. Vincent (Beast) was a bit difficult to figure out but Belle was initially attracted because he is a handsome hunk. He does evolve into someone with whom Belle can relate. Why this intelligent librarian wants to save her library by becoming a stripper was a bit too over the top for me. Couldn’t she have pursued fundraisers or even a more acceptable job? That her overprotective father just accepted and attended her first stripper show was too much to believe. The writing is good; Ms. Sivec can turn a phrase and give us some funny witty scenes. I give it a 3.5–star rating. It was a bit better than “okay” but I really think this one wasn’t in my wheelhouse.

I received this book free for review from the publisher.
