LOL!
The second book was just as adorably funny as the first one!
Those three chicks are hilarious! Ariel, the antique dealer with absolutely NO filter. The prude housewife Cindy. Innocent librarian Belle. They SO don't fit together as best friends, but it works perfectly.

And sexy beast. He's just what Belle needs in her life. They're perfect for each other. But there's a lot of stuff to overcome until we can ride off into our happily ever after sunset together!

I just loved reading this book!
Absolutely hilarious and adorable and sweet. I just adore this group of people!
And I loved the moments with Belle's dad! (Not the moments at the beginning - the later ones!)

I SO need Netflix to come and make a show out of this series! ☺

I'm a tiny little disappointed about Belle's mega-typical reaction and action when the 'thing' the 'reveal' happens towards the end. Why can't there be something a bit more original in books? Almost every single book uses this stupid reaction. I want something creative and new and fun and moving and unexpected! BUT - I still realllly loved the book and the people and the story and everything!

JANEANE

Tara Sivec is at her hilarious best with her new Naughty Princess Club series.

We are back with Isabelle and Beast's story now, and I wasn't sure what tack this book was going to take. What tack it did take was one right to my funny bone!

I think I have always connected more with Belle in this series - I think it is just that I want a library, damnit! I adore her quirkiness, I love her shyness, however I also love how she grabs life by the curlies and goes for it.

Then there is Beast. Oh my! I mean, he was fun in the background of the first book, but this guy! Gah, he is amazing.

Full of fun, sexy, flirty moments, these ladies will have you laughing out loud with their antics.

I am really, really wanting Ariel's story. She had no filter and it is going to be a fun ride as she finds her HEA

How do you put a spin on a story almost EVERYONE already knows? The premise in the story synopsis seemed fun and while this was funny at times and loosely resembled the fairytale, and the idea of 3 women starting their own stripping business is...novel, it was hard to get beyond the overall immaturity of the characters. And unfortunately, I mean all of the characters. And that, for me, made it hard to identify, care, be entertained, etc. by this story. While I did finish it, it was a struggle. This one was just not for me.

This is part of a series, but like many romance series, each book stands on its own, though former characters will be seen in the background with their happily ever after, and the next story will be set up in this.

So it is here, tied around the idea of three women who are “princess strippers” – dancing at a club, and doing private shows for parties. (Like a bridal shower.)

Each book in this series is tied to a fairy tale, in this case, “Beauty and the Beast.” There is even a room in Beast’s house that is locked and Belle is forbidden to enter it.

Belle, or Isabelle Reading, is a nerdy librarian in her mid twenties still living at home with her overprotective father. She runs the local library that’s on the verge of shutting down. The library is her safe haven, yet it will close soon, due to lack of funding, unless she comes up with a way to earn money.

So she decides that even though all her life experience comes from books, she will join her friends and become a stripper. Her dad boots her out of the house.

So she begins living in the library, until she meets “Beast,” or Vincent, the bouncer at the club where her friends do their pole dancing. He is super hot, of course, and gruff as all getout, but he offers her a place to stay.

Come on, you know what’s going to happen! The fun is how it gets there. This is sheer wish fulfillment, from beginning to end, make lively by Belle’s Google fu babbling when she gets nervous, and the banter with her two besties, who are exuberantly, hilariously raunchy. The head librarian, a widow named Mrs. Parker, even gets into the act.

These days when the news seems to get grimmer with every hour, a couple hours of escapism like this is just the ticket.

This was a laugh out loud story.
Great characters, I mean who doesn't love a story about Belle and the Beast :)
This is the second book in a series. They had chemistry and it made it all more hot to read about.

oh, this was quite enjoyable!

i read At the Stroke of Midnight and liked it, it was much better than I expected, if a little ridiculous and over the top at times. i had a bad experience with Seduction and Snacks which is why I had low expectations for At the Stroke of Midnight. I had requested that one based on goodreads friends and the cover, not realising it was the same author as the book I really didn't enjoy.

Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with Cindy's book and immediately added this one to my list. I love a good beauty and the beast retelling.

I went into this one with fairly low expectations - i realise that makes me sound like an ass, but it will take a few more books to get over it as I reallydid not like Seduction and Snacks. I expected this one to be about as good as the first, and though I rated them both 4 stars, I was being generous with the first one (man, I really sound like an ass!) and I'm being totally honest with this one.

It was funny, well written, sexy (fans self), definitely a little silly and ridiculous like the first one at times, but still, I did quite enjoy it. I love the friendship between the girls and it feels more established in this one, where as the first one was a little all over the place with meeting and starting the business or whatever.

Belle was a more likable character to me than Cindy was, I always love a bookworm (P&P fans unite!) and I really liked Vincent as well.. PJ was such an asshole at times in the first book and even when Vincent was being a jerk he wasn't as asshole-ish as PJ.

There wasn't as much over the top crude humour in this one either, it's really not my jam which is why I didn't love Seduction and Snacks. All the conflicts or weird scenarios in this one really worked well and seemed natural.

Vincent was sexy. I heart him. But he cut a hole in a book, what the fuuuuucccckkk no kidding i'm kidding but really i'm not

My only real issue with this one is the green card thing. I mean, he couldn't just marry her and her not find out, we all know that right? You don't just get handed a green card when you marry a US citizen. You have to go through a whole process and the US citizen has to sponsor you and shit. Obviously, it never got that far, but it wan't really explained well, she got all butt hurt and upset, but it's not like he could have tricked her and never told her. But i'm just nitpicking I guess

I am very intrigued and can't wait to see where Ariel's book goes.

These books are so much fun!

The Naughty Princess Club series are sexy, sweet, and “laugh out loud” hilarious books based “loosely” on classic fairy tales.

Belle still lives with her overprotective father at 25 years old. She’s been working extremely hard to keep her true love alive. The local library is failing and the only way to save it is to bring some more money in. She knows she must take the next step in the business she started with her friends, Cindy and Ariel. While she’s always stayed behind the scenes in their stripper business and focused on the administrative side of things, she knows she needs to step out of her comfort zone.

There has always been chemistry between Belle and Beast, aka Vincent, even in the first book. Now, Belle has been kicked out of her house by her father and Beast has offered to take her in. Living under the same roof, feelings escalate and I loved watching their relationship grow and evolve.

This trio of friends is so much fun because they couldn’t be more different but are always there for each other no matter what! You can technically read these books as standalones but don’t. Go back, start with book one where you meet these characters for the first time. I can’t wait to read Ariel’s story!

Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series but definitely not the last! I LOVED these characters so hard and I seriously want to be friends with them! Belle is a hot mess in the best possible way, but she is determined to get it together and be a strong, independent woman! Beast, aka Vincent, is growly and broody and oh so much more. These two together made me laugh and swoon and it was just perfection for me.

Belle runs the local library but it’s about to be closed down, funding and all that fun stuff. She’s determined to save her library though and despite her lack of skills when it comes to men and flirting she’s going to become a stripper to help save the library. Vincent comes to her rescue when he finds her sleeping in the library without a place to stay. He has some secrets though, and he’s trying to protect Belle and help her out. These two have great chemistry, even if Belle is a bit on the goofy, fact rambling side.

I loved everything about this book, from Belle’s weird encyclopedia of a brain to Vincent’s growly nature. These two just work together, but there’s always a twist in the fairy tale and I really liked how it all came together for these two. The relationship that builds between these two is a great journey, but there’s also a fantastic supporting cast to fall in love with too. I definitely need to play catch up with the first book, but as a total Beauty and the Beast nerd girl this will always be a favorite for me. I think Tara Sivec has worked her magic again with this story, making me laugh and feel and totally fall in love. A definite must read!

This was such a cute story. To say Belle has led a sheltered life is an understatement. Now though she’s met Cindy and Ariel as those two are crazy but I’m such a good way.

I loved Belle she was a girl after my own heart. A bit naive, a book lover and so innocent. She’s got so spunk in her though so when it comes out all I can think to myself is you go girl.

Then there’s Beast, broody and he doesn’t talk much at all at first. He’s got that alpha caveman quality that I absolute love in my book hero’s and he definitely fits this modern day take on a classic fairytale.

These two have moments that are so endearing at the same time their chemistry and the sexual tension is definitely hot.

Once again Tara Sivec makes me cackle and snort like no one is looking. This read was hilarious, adorable and sweet all at the same time. I imagine that Ariel is next and I can tell you I can’t wait for her book.

This is the second book in the Naughty Princess series. Belle is out of her father's house and living with Vincent. A hilarious tale from Beauty and the Beast. Vincent is a surprise with his demanding attitude but sweet underneath. A lovely read.

I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

These are just fun, light reads. I like the characters and especially like this one, as I am a librarian also. 😊 I don’t normally enjoy “steamy” books but I can look past it in these.

5 Naughty Princess Stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Oops she did it again! Another fabulous book from Tara Sivec... this is the second book in the Naughty Princess Series, but it can be read as a standalone... however I would encourage you to read them all, they are filled with so much laughter and love....

Belle has lead a pretty sheltered life until she becomes friends with Cindy and Ariel... The three ladies bond over man troubles and money problems and decide to form Naughty Princesses...Belle has a tremendous love of books and loves her job as a librarian.... however the library is in some financial trouble, so Belle wants to earn some extra money working for the newly formed company.... The problem? Can innocent Belle pull off a striptease?

Beast a.k.a. Vince is a quiet hunk of a man, who is there to rescue Belle when her dad kicks her out of the house.... The romance between Beast and Belle was sooo adorable! I loved seeing Beast come out of his shell and Belle get a little sassy.... so many laugh out loud moments... especially when the three girls get together... Love the friendship between the three of them, well I pretty much love everything about this book and series... can’t wait for the next one, because Ariel is my fave!

A fun retelling of Beauty and the Beast, with a naughty twist...

*** many thanks to the publisher for my copy of this book ***

Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite fairytales because I identify with the bookish girl who doesn't seem to fit in. I've devoured Tara Sivec's contemporary adaptation of this trio of Cinderella, Belle and upcoming Ariel. They nod to the characters and keep loosely to the storyline with Sivec's unique naughty comedic wit! Who would have thunk to make these young women strippers? We get our HEA and a lap dance! I love it!

Isabelle is a librarian, trying to keep her small town oasis alive week by week. Her new friends and business partners Cindy and Ariel have started a small business that might just meet her needs if she could just pluck up the courage to do more than the books. Enter our hero, Beast or Vincent for polite company to save Belle from her secret and maybe with a secret of his own. He's rescued her and agrees to help her prepare for her first big venture, but it's a slow and torturously sexy process getting to her multiple goals.

The characters are as colorful as ever and hilarious to boot. So much growling and blushing with outbursts of random factoids to entertain everyone! It was brilliant to spend the time getting to know each other and the slow taming and unleashing of their better selves. I am thoroughly delighted with this book and sniggered and laughed all the way through.

The three girls are the main focus and though the first book isn't a required read in order to enjoy this one, I suggest you do. Cindy and PJ are funny in their own right while dealing with their friends fledgling friendship. Ariel is wound up so tight that Eric's constant come-ons are going to light her fuse for a fantastic explosion in the next book. Introducing Belles dad with the not so subtle nod to Sean "Sticks" Larkin from LivePD was a special bonus for me! His entanglement with PJ's mother, making them all squeamish made me really laugh.

This book was everything I was hoping it would be and more! I'm really looking forward to Ariels book, Kiss the Girl.

The second book in the Naughty Princess club, with a Beauty and the Beast twist. Follow along as the Beast comes to Belle's rescue, but does it come with a price? I absolutely love this series. I buy the audiobook as soon as it's available and listen to it in one sitting. My cheeks always hurt so bad from laughing non-stop!

In Bed with the Beast is another fantastic spin on a much loved fairy with a hilarious twist that only Tara Sivec can give you!!

Isabelle and Beast are up next and it was just as hilarious as At the Stroke of Midnight!
Isabelle is the good, nerdy librarian trying to save her job and the place she loves more than anything. A little quirky and shy, Belle finds herself out of a place to stay when the handsome Beast comes to her rescue. What she didn’t know is that she’d be saving him as well.

Beast is the silent and grumpy type and boy, does he play his part well. He is the brooding man that Belle is becoming smitten with, even though he is trying to keep his distance. Beast has had his heart broken before and refuses to be the victim once again. But when his secrets threaten his relationship with Belle, can the Beauty and the Beast find their happily ever after?

Tara Sivec is an absolute genius with her Naughty Princess Club! It’s the perfect blend of the fairy tales we love, with a dirty twist and the friendship between three woman that will leave you rolling! While it’s not necessary to read the first book in the series, I highly suggest you do!

I am loving Tara Sivec’s Naughty Princess Club series! Each of the three books is an adaption of a Disney princess movie and features three dynamic and hilarious best friends, who each find love and a prince of their own. The second book, In Bed with the Beast, is a spoof on Beauty and the Beast, and it is so much fun. Belle is an endearing librarian and perfectly awkward, and she quietly and awkwardly charms Vincent, a grumpy man of few words. When she asks him to teach her how to flirt and be sexy, so that she may join her friends in their home stripper business, she quickly unravels his control. Sigh. But Vincent guards his heart just as fiercely as he guards his words, so Belle has to convince him to open up to her. In Bed with the Beats is perfectly romantic and wonderfully entertaining, and I cannot wait for the next book, Kiss the Girl.

Isabelle and Vincent will have you laughing, swooning, and loving their world .
Belle is a librarian that has lived a bit of a sheltered life. Loosing her mom at a young age her father did his best to step up and raise her the best he saw fit. He was a bit overprotective and controlling but he thought he was protecting her. Now finally making choices for herself she finds that her love ..her library is at risk of closing. She now needs a new job on the side . She begins a crazy adventure with a dress up business with her friends and they are quite the hoot together . I must say she is hysterically funny, sweet and quirky and I loved every bit of her and her gang.
Vincent aka Beast is a bouncer at the local dance/strip club . Belle catches his eye when she comes to see her dancer friends and he soon finds that she is a too interesting for him to look away. He is the strong stoic type with a bit a secret he is hiding but what he soon cannot hide is his interest in the lovely Belle! Yes soon Belle begins to sooth the beast and it is wonderful to watch his walls come down.
They are absolutely fabulous together. Their kooky, witty banter will have you laughing out loud. Loved them !!

I love Beauty and the Beast, which is why I requested this book. Tara Sivec did a very cute take on the Beauty and the Beast story, but I don't think I mesh very well with her sense of humor. It's like she's trying way too hard to be funny and it just falls flat for me.

I did love Belle and Vincent together, I like seeing quirky and broody together. I think lots of people will love this book and while I liked it, it fell a bit short.

I was given an ARC of In Bed with the Beast in Exchange for an honest review. Book 1 of the Naughty Princess Club series At the Stroke of Midnight was so good I couldn't imagine how Tara was going to surpass her own greatness.  But damn she out did herself with this one!  In Bed with the Beast is laugh out loud hilarious, sexy and entertaining! Each book in this series is loosely based on a fairytale, if you haven't guessed it already this story is based on Beauty and the Beast.

Isabelle Reading couldn't be a more perfect Belle.  She is shy, awkward and spouts random facts especially when she is nervous.  She is the most innocent of the Naughty Princess Club.  As Belle spreads her wings and tries to start being an adult, she is caught sneaking back in to the house she lives in with her father.  He treats her like a child and when she puts her foot down and insists that she is going to do adult things he kicks her out.  She has no where to go and doesn't want to intrude on her friends since they have their own things going on. She ends up sleeping in the library she is desperate to save from closing.

Vincent Adams, a.k.a "Beast". is a bouncer at Charming's strip club.  He is broody and grouchy but has a big heart.  He starts going to the library and bringing Belle food until one night he insists that she stay at his house.  He has past secrets that come to light as the story progresses.

Isabelle and Vincent's 1st encounter in At the Stroke of Midnight was hilariously awkward.  They don't seem like they belong together but you will quickly find out that they are a perfect match for each other.
