Knuckle Down was an entertaining read but totally different from any MC book I’ve had before. The lead character Knuckles is an amazing single dad who’s a whiz in the kitchen, he’s loyal to a fault, and even though his rank in the MC is Sergeant at Arms and his road name suggest other wise, in this story he is never placed in an unpleasant, shady or violent situation. In fact he shows all the best in an alpha lead.
Celina is a feisty, newspaper, reporter. She’s successful in her craft, but can she improve, the family connecting the MC have is amazing, but will she disappoint Knuckles and reveal his MC’s private life to the world.
I loved how the relationship between Knuckles and Celina progressed,
and his daughters were great fun, they all made a wonderful family. The story turned out to be the fairly usual, with no surprises, and I enjoyed it anyway. I’m looking forward to more from this series.

I was so excited to start this book because I wanted to follow knuckle's story and also because this blurb sounded amazing. I wasn't wrong about it, I loved this story.

I can already tell this is going to be an amazing series and can't wait to get more of these brothers. Definitely a recommended read from me.

What a book/series. The author has done an outstanding job of writing a storyline that is hot, sexy, romantic and packed full of strong willed characters. Especially the women who rock these bikers world.

Knuckles is a conundrum. He definitely an alpha male with a take no crap attitude but he’s also a teddy bear of a dad to two young girls, an amazing cook in the kitchen, a very caring compassionate man who gives 100% to those he cares about. Plus, he Always shoots straight from the hip and goes after what he wants; and he wants Celina.

Celina is a very independent woman who can totally hold her own in almost any situation. She is a local journalist who also happens to be Erin’s cousin (Erin is the prez’s daughter and soon to be Ace’s ole lady). When Celina is invited to Erin’s birthday party at the Cursed Ravens Clubhouse, she is shocked by what she finds. These men are nothing like the stereotype she’s pictured, especially Knuckles with his charm and good looks. But Celina’s been hurt in the past by men and their cheating ways and therefore does her best to steer clear of him. But Knuckles just might have other ideas for her.

This story is full of humor, romance, suspense and aghast. Throw in three dogs, two sneaky young girls, two conniving ex’s and a few misunderstandings and you have the makings of one amazing storyline. 2 Thumbs Up for a great addition to the series. I highly recommend reading Knuckle Down and the Cursed Ravens MC series, you won’t be sorry you did.

Overall a well-written story with a solid plot. I liked the premise and enjoyed how the author was able to follow-thru on a good plot.

This is the second in the Cursed Ravens MC series and I will say that I liked this so much more than the first. However I need to make a little note about the first; I was halfway though this book when I realized who Clover from the first book was. Talk about a DUH moment.

Jack “Knuckles” Chester is a single father and the sergeant at arms for the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club which means he has little free time. On top of that he has some issues when it comes to women thank to his ex. When he first sees Erin’s cousin Celina he like what he see but he has to convince her of that.

Celina is a journalist and very good at her job. She does have a sleazy ex and her boss leaves a lot to be desired as well. She sees the MC as a great story but she in’t use to the whole family vibe they have going on. Apart from her cousin Celina never really had that. As she and Knuckles get closer she evaluates her story idea.

The climax was so unexpected and such a wonderful surprise. I loved it! It brought everything together in a way that made you melt. It also set you up nicely for the next book. I would love if Erin’s dad got his own book or maybe Clover got with one of the guys. Just saying!

Knuckles girls are so cute! They embrace Celina is a way that she isn’t use to. From the moment they meet her they are attached and so is she. My one dislike about this book was Knuckles’ ex which is probably a good thing. She was one of those women who always thinks her man is cheating and then when he moves on she becomes this petty **tch. Like I said it was probably good that I didn’t like her.

Hard-working, dedicated journalist Celina decides to check out the Motorcycle Club that her best friend is now a member of, and finds herself swept up into a new relationship with sexy club member "Knuckles" despite her misgivings. When she gets caught between her job, her moral code, and her new lover, Celina needs to decide what love is worth and whether she is ready to take on a life with the father of two.

What follows is a roller coaster of drama with just a few too many plot points and a heroine who I respected until some of her later decisions. I especially took issue with the fact Knuckle's "job" with the Motorcycle Club was never really discussed. Maybe it was in the first book, but as a new reader to this series I had some serious questions, especially when it seems the Club is definitely dabbling in illegal activities.

I always wondered about Knuckles story when I first met heard of him while reading Ace of Hearts. If we would see what would behind those scarred hands of his and his tough exterior. I was surprise to see behind all that bravado their was a family man of two fierce girls that love their Daddy.

Celina is a force to be reckoned with a journalist at heart and an independent streak a mile long. She has her life together and basically in my mind ready to settle down. She just needed the right man that could handle her independence and not be offended by it.

This hands down has to be one of the best books I've read from this author. The author always comes up with a unique story and plot twist which is refreshing for this type of genre. I don't know how she does it she is always one umping herself when I think she can't get any better she blows me away with Celina & Knuckles story. I'm off to ready Going Rogue can't wait to see what this new book has to add to the series.

4.5 Stars from Renee!
⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was pulled right into this story. The story has pain, secrets, regrets, and heartbreak.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those book(s) first:
Ace of Hearts (The Cursed Ravens MC, #1)

This is Celina and Knuckles’s story. Knuckles will do anything for the two girls in his life, his daughters. He knows how to fight being the sergeant at arms for his club. He earned his name from his reputation as a fighter. When he meets Celina, he is instantly drawn to her, but she is not his usual type of woman. Celina knows what she wants, and it’s not Knuckles. But the more they are around each other the more he digs himself into her heart. But will her issues with trust be the thing that rips them apart before they can build something great? Or will she have to learn to trust him fully for him to ever give her a chance around not only him but his daughters.

I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book.

This book was sexy and fun and a great follow up to the first book. I loved Celine and Knuckles and seriously can't wait for the third book!

Knuckle Down is the second novel in the Cursed Ravens MC series created by Chantal Fernando, and this proved to be a bit better than its predecessor, Ace of Hearts. Celina and Knuckles had a more interesting romance, especially given that he was a single dad who had two girls who weren't set on making their father's shot at a happily-ever-after miserable. I confess that there were moments that Celina came off just as immature as her cousin in book one, and for someone who was a somewhat seasoned journalist, she seemed to flounder when it came to being covert or even being like a dog with a bone in pursuing her "story". This did have a tad more of that mature MC romance feel that I expect in this particular trope, although there were still times where it came off as like MC romance lite. I did appreciate the love story between Celina and Knuckles as well as how they handled the hiccup that they were forced to get through. Bonus points go out to the twist in their romance as well as their trying to figure out if what they had could go from fling to family and forever. Knuckle Down gets four stars out of five stars. ♥

I love how Knuckles’ book shows the MC life yet still shows he is a loving family man. Celina and Knuckles have great chemistry. I like how the secondary characters are still in the forefront of the storyline. I hope the next book is about Rogue.

I really enjoyed this one! I'm giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.

Oh man, I absolutely loved Knuckles in this one! He was an amazing dad, and such a sweet guy. The way he was with Celina and his girls...it melted my heart. I did connect with Celina more than I did with Erin in the previous book. Maybe because she loves writing/reading, she's older, and has been burned in relationships before? I could keep listing reasons why I liked her better.

I loved seeing more of the characters from the previous book, and also meeting some new ones. I will say that nothing really surprised me plot wise, but I usually guess things pretty easily, so it's probably just me. The epilogue, and the ending to the chapter right before it, were super cute. It tied up the book nicely, even though I wanted more still, because I loved the characters.

This was a fast, enjoyable read. I could have easily read it in one sitting, if life didn't get in the way of me doing that. I can't wait to read the next book! I'll be sad when I'm done with this series. But that being said, I want to go back and read Chantal's other MC series to compare my feelings.

Celina and Knuckles seemed liked opposites but not really, surprisingly this biker is more than he seemed. He's a gentleman, good cook and dad, persistent to all her rebuffs at first. He may seem annoying to her but I like that he calls her out on her crap and has a charming way of getting his girl.

Celina's hesitation to date or try anything with Knuckles cause she's untrusting and scared to get hurt again. Her emotional side is closed over but this guy being all swoony wins her over eventually. Things are going well till a misunderstanding gets in the way and blows up, along with other issues that with their new relationship. Nothing too unexpected since we know Celina is a journalist straight on.

Sometimes the unexpected happens but for the better. The case for Knuckles and Celina, they didn't expect the other and they didn't always agree but they do what they can to see it through. I'm liking this series and the MC, it's not dark at all. It's more of an easy read for leisure and interesting plot. The writing is laid back but engaging. I'm curious to see Rogue's story next.

Ughhh... I didn’t love this one as much as the first book! In fact I kinda had a hard time with it. I hate to say this this but I agree with a lot of the other 3-3.5 star reviews. And once again we get a little Wind Dragon name drop in this book. And of course Faye Black! I seriously don’t understand way they keep popping up! The author also dropped some names from her Conflict of Interest series. Jaxson makes an appearance!

I mean... They have nothing to do with in this series. I was so damn excited about book 1! Because it was new! I was introduced to a new MC club and characters! But I hated how when things started to happen all the other series just started to roll in.

I can honestly say I wasn’t totally in love with the way the book played out. I was expecting something a little different for Knuckles story.

I’m all for realistic books. But I just wasn’t feeling this part in the book. It kinda seemed out of place... to me anyway.

“You know if you need to sh** you can just do it. I know women need to poop too.”

Yeah... they’ve only known each other for less than a week! Huhhh.

I still loved Knuckles. But Celina.... hmmm... I wasn’t feeling her all that much!
I wasn’t expecting the surprise little thing that happened towards the end of the book. It was ok. Something a little different.

I don’t know... I was so excited about this series! The first book set the tone for me! But now having read this book. I’m kinda scared to start Rogue’s book! All the men seem kinda tamed. Hopefully Rogue’s book is different. We really don’t know a lot about him.

Chantal you are a genius! I do not know how you do it, but you make me binge on your books which is terribly unfair for all my other book babies, but honestly you are worth the cheat. This book reminded of Faye’s Book in the wind dragon series. Your female characters are loyal, independent and brutally honest while still being genuine and I cannot get enough. The real question now is how many kidneys do I have to give you to get Rogues and Shovels Books? You know, asking for a friend.

Terrific characters in the lite MC story. This is a really good follow-up to Ace and Erin’s story in the first book and completely different. Fantastic characters in single dad, Sargent-at-Arms, Knuckles (not to keen on his club name) and beautiful journalist and Erin’s cousin, Celina. They have a grownup relationship and I loved their connection. He’s patient with her reluctance while making sure he gets his way at the same time. He’s one bada$$! I really like that this author writes her characters having real conversations rather than relying on internal musings. One of my favorites in this story is his girls and his terrific relationship with them. While this is not a gritty dark MC story there is drama but it comes from her job and her ex. Our couple have a few obstacles to overcome for their relationship to work. Worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Knuckle Down is the second title in The Cursed Ravens MC, and features Jack aka 'Knuckles' and Celina. This pair might seem like an odd pairing, a journalist and the Sergeant At Arms for the Cursed Ravens MC, but they have more in common than you'd expect.

Jack is a brooding, bad-ass, alpha biker with a heart of gold and a swoon worthy soft spot when it comes to his girls.

Celina is strong, feisty and sassy, but doesn't give her affections or trust easily after a less than stellar track record when it comes to the opposite sex.

Overall Knuckle Down is a fast paced, heat filled read with a level of drama, and angst you'd expect with a pair of heroes who both have trust issues.

A few unexpected twists and turns have me quite eager for more of the Cursed Ravens MC series, and I look forward to future additions to the series.

Jack "Knuckles" Chester is a single dad of two daughters and a member of the Cursed Ravens MC. Celina is a smart, ambitious journalist with no time for a man like Knuckles. The attraction between these two can't be stopped but will the relationship crash and burn after events take place? Will Knuckles be able to trust and protect Celina? Another wonderful read in this series.

I received a copy if this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.

I was excited to start reading Knuckle Down since I loved the previous book in the series! Celina who happens to be Erin's cousin from the first book is a gifted journalists looking for a story within the Ravens clubhouse. When she meets Knuckles a single dad of two girls the attraction between the two is so obvious.Knuckles is a sweet and straight forward guy.I really like him!I liked Celina. She is a woman who works hard and does her best to be successful. I cannot wait to start the next book and see what the author has up for us!

This is Book 2 in Chantal Fernando's Cursed Ravens MC series and I have to say I enjoyed this one so much more than the first.

When Journalist Celina goes to the Cursed Ravens MC Clubhouse to attend the birthday party of her cousin Erin, she hopes she will be able to get the scoop of the somewhat secretive Motorcycle Club. What she doesn’t expect is to meet a man who happens to tick all her boxes. The last thing she needs is a man that obviously has women throwing themselves at him on a daily basis trying to get into her pants. But Knuckles is persistent when he wants something and what he wants is a chance to prove he’s the man for Celina. Soon Knuckles manages to get past her walls and Celina quickly realizes Knuckles isn’t the type of man she assumed he would be.

Knuckles is the Cursed Ravens' Sergeant at Arms. He is a blend of Rough Alpha and sweet and caring. He’s a single father of two wonderful little girls, who surprises people when he knows all the lyrics to the latest Taylor Swift song. I loved him from book 1 and couldn’t wait for his story. He definitely made me love him even more. I adore the idea of the big, tough scary biker who’s covered in tats that turns out to be super sweet and romantic.

I liked Celina a lot too and I thought they were great together. It took a bit for her to grow on me just because she was kind of standoffish at first but I actually liked that she made Knuckles work for it a bit without being a brat. They had excellent chemistry and in the end, even though they were so different it was obvious they were a great match.

I loved the secondary characters, too and I can’t wait for Rogue's story. He’s definitely one I want to find out more about. I have so many thoughts going through my head about him I can’t wait to see what happens.

Overall, I really liked this book and would definitely recommend it.
